They are a very friendly company who sell Linux laptops. I've had no issues with ordering, no issues with the laptop on arrival. It was a smooth experience all round.

Only now (about a year later) engaging with their customer services because I was a muppet and lot my charger.

Thankfully I'd been told I can order a spare at the same price I passed on when originally ordering. Seems very fair, I was happy with that.

Their website was hard to navigate (on mobile at least) I would have expected to find the spares without asking support but I got an email back the next day so no harm done.

I can and do recommend Entroware. A friend of mine got a Windows gaming laptop at about the same time from a completely different company (standard brand) and has had an awful experience with broken drives, poor quality repair, battles with customer service, delays, expenses. . Really a polar opposite experience!

It is very refreshing to see a company such as Entroware look after their customers the way they looked after me. I can witness to that. Prompt and friendly response to queries from staff. Timely email notifications from build to delivery. Carefully packaged. Computer running very smoothly. No hesitation in recommending Entroware to friends and family. Keep up the great work!

I use the Zeus as a work laptop and it is superb. Their customer service is excellent too. I installed a different distribution of Linux on my machine to the one it came with and they still helped with my query promptly and professionally.

I am delighted with the service and efficiency I have found at Entroware. I have just bough an Orion which is neat and very straightforward, no fuss which is exactly what I wanted. The speed of the build and delivery was exceptional. I put my order in on a Tuesday afternoon and took delivery on the Friday. All my contact with Entroware have been professional and friendly. My only pause was having mad a bank transfer there was a slight delay in it being acknowledged. Given the number of banking scams at the moments it is comforting to know a transaction has gone where it should. It is a very small thing, and does not detract at all with how delighted I am with the whole deal. Thank you Entroware

Very fast service, 4 days from initial enquiry to receipt of laptop. I ordered the Apollo 14" i5-8250 8gb with Ubuntu 18.04 preinstalled and everything worked perfectly straight out of the box. The quality of the casing is very good, the backlit keyboard has a nice, firm key press and wifi range is brilliant. The processing speed is lightening quick it really is a joy to use. Very professional company to deal with, look forward to buying more machines from them in the future. Highly recommended.

All thumbs up for Entroware!! I ordered a Hybris laptop from Italy: in two days it was ready to be shipped and five days later (but with a week-end beneath) I received it at home.
The laptop is beautifully built, requested customization (Italian keyboard, European power lead, RAM, etc.) were fulfilled and I only had to press the power button to start using my new Ubuntu pc (well, after a few settings like username and language, of course), being certain that all components will run flawlessly.
In a few words: to me, Entroware is the best for Linux users like me.

I ordered a 15" " Zeus on the 1st of July, and received it 5 days later as stated in my confirmation email.

Very impressed with the quality of the build and the customisation options available. I'll probably replace my Dell laptop with entroware when it needed.

Struggled to find anywhere that sold pre-installed linux laptops. Ordered laptop a year ago and love it. Best laptop I have had. Some keys on keyboard stopped working after 1 year. Phoned up and they sent me 2 new keyboards that where damaged in transit by courier. Contacted and sent out a 3rd. Good honest company supplying a very good product. Recommended

I ordered a Poseidon with upgrades and extras, when started the CPU was running very hot. I informed Entroware, then opened it up to fit a better grade cooler. I found the cooler flapping about in the breeze, the GPU loose and one of the extra hard drives out of position. Checking the packaging revealed it had been dropped, so not Entroware's fault. I fitted an uprated cooler anyway and reseated the GPU as they asked. CPU fine but now graphics problems, so it went back for repair and a thorough check. Now it's back with a new GPU fitted, it's fine.
Even though it wasn't their fault they stood by their product, I call that a company worth dealing with.

Well configured Linux machines at very competitive prices. First Linux machine I have had where hibernate actually works.

I have had my computer now for over a year, with no complaints. Entroware helped me select the correct graphics card for my needs, and shipped quickly & efficiently.

12 months later, when an OS upgrade went bad for me, they gave me support (that I had not paid for!) and helped me resolve the issue.

All round great service.

I searched the internet for a machine with Ubuntu pre-installed, and came across the Entroware website. Where I found just what I wanted - a desktop computer with a SSD and a big screen - the Ares. I ordered this on Wed Jan 31st, plus a keyboard and optical drive, and my choice of the Ubuntu OS (16.04 LTS). I paid by bank transfer the same afternoon. The next morning I got an email confirming payment, and offering to help if I had any queries. I was able to ask for some extra s/w to be installed, at no extra cost. The order was delivered to my door at 10.00 the following Monday, and I had the machine up and running in 15 minutes!
The only problem I had was getting it to run DVDs, but this was solved by an email exchange, when I was briefed on the commands to enter in the terminal window. Very impressive and responsive email support!
I would recommend this company to anyone wanting to purchase machines that run Ubuntu (why anyone would want to put up with Microsoft Windows mystifies me!)

Entroware have always been excellent at responding to my questions, I have bought a number of laptops from them for family members and work.
I must certainly recommend them to everyone.

Easy to order via the website, delivered on time, and the laptop I ordered (a 15" Kratos) is robust and fast and works perfectly in all respects. Customer service is quick to answer queries. Highly recommended.

I ordered an Aether last July, and I've been so happy with the service I got and the quality of the laptop that I'm now (in January) buying a second one for work. I would definitely recommend Entroware to anyone looking to buy a Linux laptop.

Ordered an Orion14" from Entroware. Emailed a question before placing the order which they answered very quickly. Was kept up to date during the order process and laptop was delivered on time. Well package and just worked out the box. Yes can recommend them if you are after a Linux based machine

Entroware's hardware is very good but this company's greatest attribute is its support service. I'm a software consultant, and not only do I need a machine with a lot of horsepower to run the applications I test, but I need to know that any problems I come across are going to be handled quickly and professionally. When I had an occasional issue connecting to 3rd party monitors, they very quickly told me exactly which command to type to solve my driver problem. When my laptop's keyboard started intermittently missing keystrokes, they had a replacement at my front door the very next morning (the keyboard, by the way, was, for a laptop, surprisingly easy to replace). I would---and do---recommend Entroware to anybody who needs a Linux machine from a professional company.

I bought an Aura machine from Entroware, along with a keyboard and mouse. The machine arrived on time, and setup was simple - I think it's based on the Intel NUC platform. It's quiet, cool and very small, so ideal for a cluttered desk.

The machine came with Ubuntu installed, but I really wanted to use it with openSUSE. When I asked whether that would work, the guys at Entroware support actually installed openSUSE (on the same day) and tried it out themselves before telling me that it would be fine (and of course, it was!). Very impressive support experience.

Bought an Orion laptop from Entroware. The delivery was ahead of schedule and I was given plenty of opportunity to alter the timing or where to pick it up. Fully functional out of the box. It has an i5 processor, 16 Gb memory and PCIe ssd. Seems really fast to me, office software seems to have opened before you finish typing. Coming from Mac OS the environment seems very similar and I am begining to play with Terminal. WiFi works fine and the screen is good. Battery life is a bit shorter than I expected. The trackpad works fine. It has a plastic moulded chassis which doesn't feel like a MB pro on the other hand it is half the price of one with a similar specification.
Ironically the reason I have given the 5* is because of a problem. The spacebar on the keyboard wasn't responding properly which was really irritating. I emailed them and got an immediate reply. They gave me a few options and I elected to have a new keyboard sent to me which arrived by return of post. Three screws and two clips later it is fine, I enjoyed replacing it. They contacted me to make sure everything was OK.
In summary I am really pleased with the product and to have done business with a British company who actually seem to care about their customers.

I received the device within 3 days of ordering. In the meantime I had a few queries which I asked on email and were responded to immediately. The product arrived in very good packaging and everything worked perfectly well. I will have no hesitation in recommending Entroware.
