I have purchased all my seeds, several tools as well as their super useful grow bags from Epic. The grow bags are really convenient in allowing me to follow the sun since neighbors built giant condos behind me and shaded much of my yard in the fall. I’ve been able to use the seeds for multiple seasons successfully which I really appreciate. What I really appreciated however, was reaching out to customer service regarding a sickly avocado tree. Not only did customer service get back to me quickly, they put me in touch with a horticulture expert who also got back to me immediately and helped solve my issue…overwatering and under feeding. I didn’t purchase this plant through Epic Gardening, so I felt the attention given to me was a very welcome surprise.

As a novice gardener, I checked out the website and found the videos super helpful. I decided to order a birdie bed and it was easy to assemble. Looks great and I am looking forward to watching my garden grow. I had a few questions and the customer service was terrific. Thank you

We purchased 5 large Birdie's beds from them receiving personalized and professional service. We even reached out a year later asking for advice on mocking up a cold frame for the beds and received a prompt response when let's face it, we weren't owed one...but helping people grow healthy food and plants is what this company does best! In total, I've purchased 11 Birdies beds over the years, the 6-cell seed starters, and the cobra head tool. I like the products I've purchased. The 6 cell trays specifically are something unique and so durable I'm a little sad I don't have a reason to buy more in the fun colors that have come out. I am knocking off a star because the time from order to arrival is inconsistent and has at times significantly exceeded the quoted time. I understand these are imported and when in high demand can have supply chain issues. I recommend ordering when on sale and not waiting until you feel you urgently need one by the following week.

Epic Gardening is an absolute gem for anyone looking to grow smarter, not harder. The videos are clear, practical, and packed with helpful guidance—even for tricky plants most people struggle with. I love the permaculture tidbits woven in, and the seed selections tailored by zone are a huge bonus. It’s one of the few gardening resources that feels both educational and truly empowering.

LOVE the educational videos!!
I started with 2 Birdie raised garden beds. I found the edu videos super helpful when I put those together and also what to fill them with. I’m very satisfied with the beds. They look great in my urban garden.
I also tried the seed starter packs and some of the Botanical Interest seeds, I connected with their customer service department to get help with what would suit my needs. I found Wendi to be helpful with a very positive attitude.
Thumbs up for Epic Gardening! I’ll definitely use them for my gardening resource and future add ons to my garden.

This year, I kickstarted my garden with several items from Epic Gardening—and overall, I’ve been really pleased! The seed trays and starting planters worked well, though the success of my seedlings ultimately depended more on my own (somewhat limited!) gardening knowledge.

I purchased the Birdie tall raised beds, and I absolutely love them. They look fantastic, feel sturdy once filled, and have held up great. My only minor critique is about the rubber trim piece—it’s a bit tricky to install, and where the edges meet, they don’t lie completely flat. It doesn’t come off, but it doesn’t stay perfectly flush (a small nitpick!).

For seeds, I’ve used quite a few from Botanical Interests - both from their online store and a store local to me. Good success from both.
I also appreciate their helpful online presence—their website, social media tips, and garden planning app are fantastic resources.

Epic Gardening’s products are a cut above. I started with their raised beds and seed starting kits—both were easy to set up and made a noticeable difference in my garden. The materials feel durable and well thought-out, and everything comes with clear instructions (plus great how-to videos). I also love that their products are eco-friendly and backed by real gardening experience. It’s clear they design with gardeners in mind. Highly recommend if you want tools that actually make gardening easier and more enjoyable!

Worked with them & LITERALLY I have NEVER Experienced Racism from a Supervisor till I worked over there, I was Yelled from assistant just for asking permission to use the Bathroom & Yelled again Cuz I didn’t received Training (Daily Task, instructions) so Manager Yelled at me & Being Sarcastic since I Worked for over 3+ weeks & she Haven’t had a Clue she or her Assistant NEVER ever Gave me instructions or Train me appropriately. Manager Talking Bad about me since she thought I couldn’t Understand English which I always Talked with her Whenever I need to ask for Next task or What station to work on the Daily. Not a PROFESSIONAL Place to Work & Discrimination it’s at it Finest over There.

I waited one month for a birdie raised bed to be delivered, and delivery time line the company promised. On the day of the delivery they cancel the order and now I need to wait an additional two months. This company should go out of business

Horrible experience. Wasted 3 weeks waiting for my order and found out I have to wait 3 more. Or maybe longer... Who knows when my garden bed will arrive from Australia...

I ordered a lot of seeds online from Epic Gardening in mid-Feb 2025. I ordered enough to get the free shipping. When my purchase was complete, the payment summary page confirmed free shipping, 6-8 business days. I recieved an email confirming my order and that I would recieve a tracking number once it's shipped. It was nearly the eight business days and I hadn't recieved a tracking number. I email their customer service to inquire. They replied back that it's 7-12 business days; and that also they had been experiencing weather and technical/software issues. They said it would be shipped by end of that week. It wasn't and I still hadn't recieved a tracking number. I emailed them again, letting them know. They replied that they can cancel and refund and provide a $10 off next order, if I want. Before I could reply, I recieved an email that my order was finally shipping out soon. I recieved my order almost a month after my purchase. When I recieved my order, I checked the seeds in each packet. One of the items I ordered two packs of and one had a comically low, inaccurate amount compared to the other pack. Each pack labels how many seeds or how many grams of seeds--I was totally ripped off. This company is not honest, has bad customer service, bad quality control, overpriced seeds. I do not recommend this company. I looked at another person's Trust Pilot review, and their order was also delayed with the same excuse mentioning technical issues. Consumers beware!

Their website for ordering a garden bed with extension is extremely misleading. They are not standing by their word and need to update the he website to more clearly show items must be ordered separately. The photos show the bed and extension and that is what the words say on the page as well as what shows up on the order. Very bad website and customer service for their misleading website.

I ordered multiple seeds from Epic Gardening to take advantage of the spend over $50 to get free 4 to 6 day shipping. 2 weeks went by and nothing arrived and no tracking infowas sent. I Reached out to Epic and after a few days they told me that there was an issue with the distribution center. I received no update on when my order would arrive. I asked for a timeline to receive my seeds or I would need to cancel the order. They canceled my order rather than giving me any information on when it would ship. All around a bad experience and complete waste of time. Do yourself a favor and order from someone else.

I had a great customer service experience with Epic recently. I made an error (we had just moved to a new state and I forgot to change my shipping address!) They followed through with no prodding from me even when FedEx added their own errors. They made sure I got everything I was supposed to get and were friendly through it all.
