ESPN is the TEMU of the sporting world

Wow! Where to even begin...ESPN has wormed its way into controlling so much of the sporting world that they need to be broken up by the FTC for anti-trust violations. I finally gave in and upgraded my Hulu to one of the bundles that included ESPN in order to watch a few games that are only available through ESPN. I selected what I thought was a premium bundle without commercials. Apparently, "premium" includes ESPN Select. Now my only experience with ESPN is what you get on cable, such as ESPN, ESPN 2, ESPNU. SEC Network, etc. Apparently, my "premium" subscription only includes items that were previously only available on ESPN + (whatever that is). When I realized my new upgrade would not let me watch the game I was trying to watch I called customer service who explained the ESPN Select subscription does not include ESPN, nor does it include items on ESPN 2, ESPNU, or the SEC Network. Nope! It only includes items previously on ESPN +, which are the games that could never even make ESPN8! You know, community college men's hacky sack games! So to get any teams that anyone has ever heard of, you have to get an additional upgrade for even more money! Now don't dare make this mistake mid game like I did! I had planned to watch most of the game out and watch the rest on my newly upgraded subscription when I returned home. Ha! Nope! The game wouldn't load because it wasn't a women's basketball game from Orlando community College! So when I called customer service to figure out why my football game wouldn't load, he explained to me that I bought the Temu ESPN subscription that didn't play any sports anyone actually wants to watch. So I said let's upgrade this so I can catch the last of the game. Poor guy had to read 20 minutes of disclaimers while I'm cussing under my breath as I'm missing the last of my game. Then he finally finished and I was able to log in as the game ended. Now all of this feels like some horrible deja vu because last year I went through a similar process where I upgraded, the game wouldn't play, so I canceled the very next day. I was refunded, my services canceled, and then they charged me for the bundle I had cancelled for the next 13 months! I finally realized this when I had the stupid idea to try this again, only to find I had been paying for it for the last 13 months! In all fairness, I should have watched my bill and I could have corrected this a year ago, but everything is automatic these days. The customer service reps were always super nice, but they work for a horrible company . After this experience, I will pay my month to watch the rest of college football season and I will immediately cancel. In fact, my experience was so annoying, I will probably cancel the entire bundle and Disney, Hulu, and especially ESPN can go bankrupt fore all I care. They are a horrible company, I hope their stock tanks, and the idiots that run the company go unemployed. Why even offer ESPN Select? It is truly the TEMU of the sporting world.

Paid for full access to ESPN, still they only want to upsell me.

I have paid for full access to ESPN for one month. But almost every time I try to launch a show, I'm taken to a sign up page, ostensibly to enroll in a longer/more expensive package. Usually I back out 4 or 5 times, and then it lets me watch the show, but sometimes not, so I end up giving up and not watching the service that I paid for.

I would give less than 1 if I could

I would give less than 1 if I could. I paid for ESPN Select through Apple on my iPhone subscriptions. Yet, I cannot connect my paid subscription to my ESPN account. On my ESPN it gives me a link to connect to iTunes, but when I click on the link, I just get an endless spinning blue circle. I have spent hours talking/emailing ESPN support but am ignored. They just want money but have no concerns about their customers. I guess I will just have to listen to radio broadcasts. ESPN is worthless and took my money with no intend to provide any service.

There is quite literally nothing in the world worse than these people. Nothing works that they put out and they exercise control over it so it is our only option. Something must step up to compete with them, it can’t be hard with this level of disrespect to the consumer

So much glitching

So much glitching! Wwe has crossed over to ESPN from Peacock. Peacock had no glitching and espn is glitching every 5 minutes, making me miss the good stuff. I unfortunately have to have a few different apps to watch Wwe but the most glitching happens when it’s on ESPN. Hopefully they get it together because I pay a lot of money to miss out on the good parts.
