This is my second review of our family trip to Cancun. The first was for the shuttle from our Cancun hotel (JW Marriott) to Playa Del Carmen. This review is for the second shuttle we booked from Playa Del Carmen to Cancun Intl Airport. Very happy with their service.

As always, easy to find, on time, courteous help as well as wonderful driver. Driver offered water or coke products, wore his mask and was great to chat with on the way.
If you are reading this, don’t hesitate to book with these guys. Perfect. (And affordable)
Makes me WANT to over tip, and I do!

Upon arrival they were delayed about 90 minutes. Pickup from the hotel to the airport was flawless. Good communication.

This is my fourth time visiting Cancun/Playa Del Carmen but my first time and last time using Etransfers. Worst experience I’ve ever had and it shouldn’t have been. This was my boyfriends first time visiting and he wanted to leave after experiencing this.
We met the airport Rep and driver who tried to convince us to share a shuttle with a large group of 6 people and we would sit next to the driver in the front seat, and this was after i already paid for a private transfer to practice social distancing and when I mentioned that to Rep he claimed it was “busy” today and the next driver would be here in 30 minutes and if if i wanted to leave now I needed to take this shuttle. Luckily us and the other group realized we were being scammed and asked for our own shuttle as promised.

This terrible experience doesn’t end there. We decide to still leave the driver a $5 tip after dropping us at Playa Del Carmen and of course he had the nerve to ask us for more money and that $5 tip wasn’t enough lol
I will be sticking to the ADO bus or taxi for any future transfers needed.

This is my fifth or sixth time with eTransfers. Always on time, fast and safe. Very competitive prices. Highly recommended.

The transport service was amazing, extremely polite driver, and offered drinks while the drive to our resort. As soon as i booked it, i received emails notifying me of the whole process, 3 emails in total. We also received text messages to confirm everything with our flight info and pick up time. You rent the whole van for yourself for a very reasonable price, cant beat that! Completely HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE!

Our driver did an excellent job on our transfer from the airport to the hotel. We would definitely recommend and use them again.

Very professional service! I got a private shuttle from Cancun Airport to Playa Del Carmen for a roundtrip journey. I arrived at around midnight and was very happy with the safe, prompt, and professional service. The van was also very clean. I was contacted via text that my driver has arrived. When I was leaving, I was also sent a reminder message about the time that the shuttle would arrive at my hotel. The shuttle was waiting at my hotel when it was time to leave. Would definitely use again and would highly recommend!

An overall pleasant experience. The drivers are punctual and polite - though the coordinators could work on their customer service a little bit. I was getting hammer-called by the coordinator during my pickup even though the driver could see me clearly as I was sitting in reception checking out of the hotel. Very reasonable pricing!

No one met us at the airport on arrival, it took lots of whatsapp messages (with poor wifi outside the actual airport building) and then waiting in a parking lot for a driver to actually be available.

Then on the return journey, a driver didnt turn up for 45 minutes. The operator wouldn't answer the phone, only whatsapp messages and eventually after an hour of waiting they said "sorry, best if you get a taxi as our driver has gone missing"

Terrible, never again

Excellent service! Driver sent me a text a few oh ours before my flight and gave instructions on where to meet him. Once landed I met up with his colleague at the meeting location and he called him and led us to his vehicle. The driver taking us back to the airport arrived a little late due to traffic but because they had given us a suggested pick up time 3 hours before our flight, it was no problem at all. He was very apologetic and professional and got us to the airport in no time.

An amazing, flexible and safe transport service! I highly recommend!

on the way to the airport to the hotel you forgot to bring us the baby chair, in the way back from the hotel to the airport you forgot to pick us up... and we had to take a taxi

I will never use this company again! Booked a private transfer from Cancun airport to Tulum 5 days prior to arrival. Received an email saying to turn my phone on as soon as I land because they would call me when they saw that my flight had landed. Didn’t want to use my phone internationally but figured I’d bite the bullet on $12 for the day before getting a Mexican SIM card so that they could reach me. Nobody ever called.

We exited the airport and found the eTransfers representative who told me that we would have to wait 15-20 minutes for our vehicle. 30 minutes later he told us it would be another 15-20 minutes. 30 minutes later, he again told us we would have to wait 15-20 minutes. In the meantime, we spoke to another group who had been waiting for 4 hours! They didn’t get us moving until 2 hours after we exited the airport AND they put that group into the same vehicle as us which means that they charged two groups for private vehicles and only provided one. Completely unprofessional and very unwelcome especially at the height of the Covid-19 pandemic! To make matters worse, the driver tells us 5 minutes into the drive that he needs to stop for gas and Starbucks and with the lineup in each, we were stopped for 40 minutes. This company is a joke. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!
