AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! WORST COMPANY EVER.

Today I paid £150 for a driver to drive for 4 hours to deliver a sealed envelope with my passport in DX Edinburgh (authorized location). According to what it is stated by the US VISA instructions page third parties can do it on your behalf.

He got there and they refused to accept it saying it had to be me. Completely ignoring the instructions from the website!!

Now they said they will return the documents, I didn't get a tracking number and don't even know if I will ever receive my passport back!! Unbelievable!!!

Absolutely terrible courier company

Absolutely terrible courier company. Placed an order on Wednesday for dispatch the day after and delivery on Friday. Was told due to operational issues that it wouldn’t be here on Friday and instead would come today (Monday) but am now being told that’s not the case and that my delivery won’t be here today.

I’ve never had such bad service from a courier company in my life.

Moving forward I won’t be ordering goods if DX is the courier company they use. I thought Evri/Hermes were bad but I think DX are somehow even worse.

Utter Rubbish Service !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So far it has taken 3 attempts to deliver my parcel, the last one being it was unsuccessful due to no one being in to collect it. I was in all day, no card was pushed through the letterbox. Nothing on the security video. This is the response, with the next date being 1st September.

Many apologies for what has happened and the service you have received from ourselves. the item is showing as needing to be booked for delivery this can be arranged for any weekday. I have also passed the review on to the depot for you Kind Regards Lorraine

Customer Service 10.......1?

The tracking is 30 minutes behind where the driver actually is. Missed delivery, got told a card was left. Check there wasn't a card left, found out the driver tried delivering the parcel to next door neighbour. Spoke to someone through the online chat. Asked to add a comment saying delivery to house with 6ft fence (Only one on my street) the customer service said they can't deliver to a different address. Explained the situation and he closed chat on me. Firstly they need to upgrade tracking system (We live in 2022 not 2009) Secondly make sure the customers query is resolved and understood. Thirdly, train staff correctly.

Poor service

The package was supposed to be delivered Monday but eventually came on Thursday over an hour beyond the expected time. The parcel was filthy and the packaging torn in several places, the delivery men were dirty and unkempt and the van used was more rust than van. I have had to move the parcel out the garage where I can wash down the packaging before unpacking indoors. Not a good experience or the type of professionalism I assume that Dx want to project.

Consistently terrible

Consistently terrible!
Any business would be foolish to use this delivery company. In the past few months I've ordered items from two different suppliers who shipped via DX, and the hassle has been enormous. They send a text message promising delivery within a very specific time slot and then fail to show up. You can't reach customer service by phone (just a recorded message) - you have to use online chat on their website, which sometimes is not answered in a reasonable time.
In the June experience, the driver falsely claimed that no one was home - (I was in the front garden at the time, waiting. Plus he did no leave any "attempted delivery" slip). The online chat person had a different story, blaming road works (which did not actually affect access to my house). They arranged a new delivery and promised the driver would phone if any access problem arose. Same thing happened - just got a text message falsely saying driver could not access the property. Again more hassle with online chat and finally, a week after "next day delivery" a new driver managed to show up.
The latest fiasco is still ongoing. We had a message giving a two hour slot on Monday. Then nothing more and it has been impossible to even do online chat without spending way too long waiting for a response.

Crap courier firm costs supplier my future orders

I was recommended a new material supplier sadly they used this form. The delivery was scheduled for Wednesday and 2/3rd arrived I check on tracking and the final part was showing scanned at delivery depot, I waited in ALL day and no delivery trying to call DX is almost impossible you are on hold for ages sometimes get cut off and have to do it again. Rude unhelpful staff. I have told the supplier they should change courier as they have lost me as a customer as I cannot rely ona supplier using a crap courier firm

Still NO JOY with rubbish DX couriers

Order LK4497972. I wrote a review yesterday with my 5 day non delivery story of a supposed next day order from DX. Within the hour Heather from DX phoned up to tell me the West Lothian depot had my parcel, she would contact them but the parcel may have been damaged. She phoned again to say damage superficial and it should arrive here early today, and to phone her if not there by 11.30am. Well, of course it hasn't arrived, and naturally its impossible to get through on the telephone, despite asking for a callback, and above all, STILL NO PARCEL. What an appalling company, or perhaps it's just that the West Lothian depot is appalling. WHERE IS MY PARCEL?

I have had 3 parcels delivered by DX in…

I have had 3 parcels delivered by DX in the past 4 months and every time the package has been damaged. In two of these instances, the companies had to resend the items and specifically did so with a different courier.

As soon as they dump, not place or deliver, the item they are in the truck and speeding away. The one time I managed to speak to someone, he blamed it on the company I ordered with and said he knew it was damaged when he was driving over.

Also they never provide masks or do contact free delivery.

Having had parcels delivered from the DX company..canvas ect ..I was so impressed with the care the driver had taken with the parcel ect and how polite and friendly I choose to use this company for returns ..DX driver James heart . He’s a credit to this company. He’s the reason I choose this delivery company as I wanted to make sure my goods returned with as much care as they were delivered. Mr heart is a credit to this delivery company. I’m not easily impressed.. 5 stars to James heart ♥️

Don't DX : Go for a courier that does what it promises!

DX is one of those companies that there should be a law out there to protect the consumer from. Broken promises, shoddy practices, inconsiderate customer support.

COVID-19 has impacted us all. The majority of businesses have adapted and the all online delivery companies have thrived. I feel that DX are using the pandemic as an excuse for their awful service.

Buyer Beware! There are much, much better alternatives out there. Don't grace this company with your hard-earned cash.

I wouldn't have given them one star, but Trust Pilot doesn't seem to give me the option of zero rating.

Waste of time with lacklustre, can’t be bothered, lazy, inconsiderate drivers.
They excuse or lie used is no I can’t find address and their phone has no signal in this 21st century.
