Transparent review of the sales process and high-pressure tactics
I agreed to a quote after a door-to-door representative mentioned a scrappage scheme, a 12-month price guarantee, and ongoing work in the local area—though I personally haven't observed any recent window installations nearby.
An appointment was scheduled, and the representative arrived on Saturday afternoon as agreed. The process began with a 40-minute product demonstration before the measurements for our three windows and a door were taken.
When it came to the pricing structure, the experience became uncomfortable due to the sales tactics used:
The Pricing: A significant amount of time was spent calculating figures. We were quoted for a composite door rather than standard uPVC, with the representative stating there was only a £200 difference.
The Conditional Discount: The initial quote for the four items was £12,000. This was reduced to £9,000, but this lower price was strictly conditional on me signing a contract that same day. This completely contradicted the 12-month price validity mentioned at the door.
The Pressure Tactics: When I declined to sign immediately, the salesperson placed his manager on loudspeaker. I was told that if I didn't agree to the deal there and then, installation teams would be left without work.
I found this method of selling highly stressful and manipulative. A home improvement quote should rely on the quality of the product and fair pricing, not on putting customers on the spot or using guilt tactics to secure an immediate signature.

I'm sorry you feel this way about your experience with Euroseal, please let me explain why we do offer the installation discount.
As a company yes we do offer a free 12 month quotation, and yes we do also offer better prices at certain times. For clarity the reason we offer these prices is normally when we have installation dates free, so at these times we will offer a good discount to fill the fitting dates, because if the fitters aren’t working we still pay them, as it would be Euroseal’s issue they have no work that day not there’s, now as you can imagine no company want’s to pay there teams for sitting at home and doing nothing, and that’s why we offer these discounts.
I am a little confused though as normally these discounts are only offered to our existing customers, as they have had work done by us before, and we like to show our appreciation, so please don't take offence but I'm not sure why it was actually mentioned.
Out of the 12 month quotes we do give, we do normally get around 70% of them returning to us within the 12 month period to get there work done. As they can appreciate that as a company we've been trading for 25 years have over 60,000 happy customers and offer a fantastic product with Insurance backed guarantees. So please consider us in the future for any work.

Was almost perfect a little hiccup at the beginning but everything improved going forward. So far I have a a new front door and have agreed to having my windows done next. All round the service was excellent.

Don’t be fooled by the back & forth phone conversations.
Do not trust them from sales to management they’re crooked, phone calls back & forth are bull convincing you they’re getting you the best deal! The buy now pay in a year isn’t worth anything as they be on to you demanding money as soon as there fitted. Keep away. Guys who did the work were good but told me they could’ve done the at two thirds the price!

Dear Mr Grundy,
I can only assume this is a fake review and this is why,
Firstly I completely disagree with your statements in your review, we are proud to say we have been trading for nearly 25 years and only a select few windows companies have achieved this, how would we have achieved that if we were crooks, the buy now pay later is exactly what it says, you have up to 12 months after installation to pay the balance, the decision of when to pay is in your hands nobody else's. The finance company will never contact you asking for payment, we are approved by the FCA for using finance and there is no way categorically for them to ring you, the only time they would ring you if you had missed a payment, which on buy now pay later isn't due for 12 months after install, so your statement regarding us demanding money immediately is clearly a untruth, if you actually did have any work done by us, it states on every email how it works.
At no point would any of our installers say that they can do the work at a two thirds of the price, so what price did they give you I'd like to enquire, and why would they say this? as they know we fit a tried and tested product which is still installed and working in customers properties after 24 years.
And finally if I read your review correctly, you are saying all of the statements above and yet you used us to fit the windows, why would you use us to do your work if you thought we were crooks, it doesn't make sense.

I recently reviewed euroseal windows and gave them a 1 star not because of the overall job just couple of things that was unfinished and the hiring of scaffolding that was never used. But having spoken to Allen Brookes at the company he resolved those issues by reimbursing the cost scaffolding which I'm thankful for. As I said the overall job was great and the windows look amazing.

The team and work quality was excellent
The team was excellent, best workers we’ve had in a very long time - friendly, polite, hard working and cleaned up after themselves. Scaffolding was put up in less than half a day. Gutters soffits and fascia for a large house done in 2 days. The workmen turned up at the time arranged and the work was completed to a very high standard. Excellent communication at every point with company informing us of when they were coming, what time and what was going to happen. No hard sell. So happy that we are having more work done by Euroseal next month. Would highly recommend.

Poor quality windows & customer service
Windows were installed Nov 2024. Installation was poor, rather than putting bricks back in they filled holes with compo - looked shocking . Vents were faulty so when it was windy it was really noisy. These issues were eventually rectified.The lock on the composite front door has been changed 3 times now & is still not working correctly. The 2 front upstairs windows catch when being closed. They have been changed twice but still not right & we are now struggling to get them changed for a 3rd time. The company don't call back when they promise to. They have booked appointments to come out then not turned up when we have taken time off work & lost money in doing so. They don't seem to care. For the extortionate price they charge for the Windows all they seem bothered about is putting pressure on you at the point of sale to get you to sign up for them then not give a damn when things go wrong. I wouldn't recommend them . The only recommendation I would give is not to go near them with a barge pole. We have given them plenty of opportunity to put our windows right before leaving this review but as they still haven't felt we had no choice but to leave this.
Thankyou for your reply. I can assure you I am not a window company. My partner has been the person contacting your company so I have emailed his details to you. To make this even worse when the windows were installed he had literally just come home from hospital after suffering a heart attack & having triple bypass surgery. He is still not fully recovered & this stress is not helping his weak heart.
