Had to subscribe to Discovery Plus to get the Australian Open tennis. I can barely afford this. Already subscribed to Prime to get previous Open matches. I’m disgusted with the coverage - no commentary on many games, including Norrie’s 5 setter today. No coverage of Norrie’s previous match. Format for access to specific games is random and not always accurate. Prime coverage was so much better.

Absolutely awful. Cannot believe this is the platform chosen for grand slam tennis. Just tried to watch the Murray kokkinasis match. No commentary, did not even know where to watch it. Confusing app in terms of directing you to the right game. Way, way behind Sky and Prime in terms of quality of platform. Will not be renewing my monthly trial (said the same thing last year and nothing has changed so clearly do not take customer reviews seriously). How in the world does grand slam tennis accept this as their platform to spread tennis across the world. Shameful!

I have to watch via Amazon Prime and Discovery Plus extra subscription.
There are several live matches.
I can add them to my watch list.
There is no commentary on any of them!
If I scroll right down I can find the Eurosport 1 AO coverage on one match. In this case the Coco Gauff match. That does have commentary!
What about Kyle Edmund v Jannick Sinner, Pegula, Collins matches etc?
Amazon Prime do a much better job, why Eurosport getting the rights and then not covering the matches adequately?

Delving into the matches that are marked Eurosport extra 1, 2, 3, 4 they actually crash my TV's Amazon prime app, so it becomes totally unresponsive and I have to reload the app from the beginning to get control again!
I also get an endless loading swirly and blank grey and black screen when trying to view certain matches! The Coco Gauff one for example.
TV is a Panasonic 50" smart TV.

Will this improve during the 2 weeks?

Crap. Awful menu. Content only viewable for a day. have subscribed for last 3 years but definitely won´t renew. Shame as cycling is only available here....but I´m not paying 40euros a year just to watch that. Will watch the limited but free coverage on normal TV. Less hassle, easier to watch and not owned by Amercians.

Terrible. Menu navigation inconsistent. Trying to find anything other than tennis very difficult and the editing of highlights must be done random on time alone. Can't believe someone has been paid to do this, my dog could do better

Recorded the snooker northern Irish open semi final and before the game finished it just ends. Nearly 4hrs in and I can’t watch the end. Really annoyed.

Recently ended very misleading and frustrating. All the time you think you are watching replay of WSB but snooker is on instead. Will cancel the contract

I have been watching the cycling in Croatia and am appalled to see some riders discarding their rubbish into the countryside where there are no bystanders to pick it up. This practice should be firmly stopped with fines,this sort of behaviour is bad for the planet and should be stamped out —- only use the proper bin areas like the Tour de France.

Subscribed to Discovery+ /Eurosport on my Amazon Prime account for one thing only, and that was to watch Federer/Nadal vs Tiafoe/Sock in Federer's final match in the 2022 Laver Cup. Broadcast just stopped in the second set before the end of the match. The replay even ends part way through the second set. Have cancelled my Discovery+ subscription immediately. The concept of watching sports is that it is most exciting near the end but Eurosport does not seem to respect that at all. Very very dissapointed.

I wish I could rate it zero. Even if you ignore that the nav doesn't update events itself and promotes old content, the IOS App constantly freezes with one error or another, (and no capability to buffer to prevent having to sign back into content when it happens) and drops out casting constantly on 150mb wifi. The clear worst of all streamer i use (try to use given their content is great)

Very good streaming platform: no technical issues, good HD quality of live stream, interesting commentary (even throughout the whole long Tour de France stages), works well through web, but also on old Android tablet. Recommended.

Dear Eurosport, the answer you have provided to my last review is totally useless. On the days in question I could not find a single channel with commentary.

The Tour of Switzerland has the same problem. Some days the commentary is there, other days not. I don't do anything different.

Btw I did email Eurosport.com directly, but have had no answer.

Tried to watch practice and qualifying from Le Mans only to find constant buffering, so frustrating. For the race I used my VPN and watched successfully elsewhere. Watched Le Mans for years on Eurosport Player with no problems so why change to DiscoveryPlus? I won't be back.

After having been duped into another year's subscription (my fault - I forgot to cancel so it auto-renewed "for my convenience"), I thought I'd give it another go having abandoned it about a year ago through sheer frustration. I had hoped that a year's more development and listening to customers complaints might have changed things but I was wrong. Just spent 20 minutes trying to figure out how and when I can watch the Dauphine bike race. The interface is horrendous. The programme I want is missing from the "schedule" but appears when I click on "view earlier" or search for it. When you do find it, there appear to be two versions of the same programme?! And then, just when you think you've found what you're looking for, you realise that it's highlights from last year's race : ) I haven't got the time or patience to unpick it all everytime I want to watch something - the race is usually over or I've heard the result from elsewhere by the time I've worked out how to watch it on Eurosport. Guess that's another £40 down the drain. Bah humbug.

Very poor coverage on the Discovery Plus channel. Have cancelled my subscription now the French Open is over. A dreadful move, as the current, soon-to-die Eurosport Player, was excellent. I have subscribed happily for many year.

This is an updated review. Previously I gave one-star and wrote "Terrible. Very hard to find French Open 2022 games, and often was not able to watch previous games. A mess.".
Eurosport replied saying the videos were indexed by player name to make it easier, so out of sympathy I've upped my score to 3. I'd been using Amazon Prime, and had eventually worked out that searching for 'French Open' was futile, and I could not find many of the matches, and had to instead use player name and year. But I think someone should be able to find recorded matches by 'French Open 2022', not just player name!

Incompetent service in almost every way possible. Evidence of cost cutting at every corner. Awful commentary. Awful quality streaming despite super fast internet. How the hell does this tinpot operation get rights to cover a grandslam?! Just useless.

What a bad commentary on the match of Djokovic versus Nadal. Just send John McEnroe back to the USA. He says one thing, the next second the players show something else. Just cannot listen to him anymore.👎

Terrible service. Tonight's tennis match between Zverev and Alcaraz cut off at a vital point with a message that the event had ended when it clearly hadn't. What are they playing at?

No commentary on the climbing competitions.
