Really good, only 4 stars due to logistics in delivery not matching so the installers had to come back 3 times instead of fitting all in 1 visit.
But was kept informed by them and all working well now, installers themselves were really good

It all started when we were sold the system. Man who came told us that he was a commercial engineer, not a salesperson so the price he offered did not have the sales commission on, but we could only get that price if we signed up there and then. That should have been the red flag that made us stop but stupidly agreed to go ahead due to the pressure tactics used.

We were told when we were sold the system that the battery and inverter would go in the loft. When the installers came they said it had to go in the garage which was fine, but we did warn them that the garage has problems with leaks in heavy rain, water runs down the garage walls and it has flooded before. They said this is fine as all the kit is waterproof.

Our install at the end of March went fine and the engineers who carried it out were nice enough.

Shortly after the installation, a slate tile fell from the roof next to where the solar panels were fitted. We were lucky it did not hit either of us as we were outside when it fell. Following this I went into the loft and could see sunlight coming through the holes left in the roof everywhere the panel brackets were fitted to the rafters.

I contacted evergen to get the roof repaired and they told me it would be done on the day I contacted. This was back in April. Near the end of the day the roofer contacted me directly via whatsapp to say he could not make it and to reschedule. He then promised he would come a further 8 times, but never came. I had to stay at home each of these times to grant access so lots of time off work.

I then got back in contact with Evergen (we are in June now), who kept saying they would arrange someone to come. I kept calling and kept getting the same response.

Finally on the 19th August I was told a team would be coming the following week on 26th.

Then on the Friday 21st August, we had a bad storm with heavy rain. As I had warned we had water running down the garage walls all over the inverter and isolators and the garage floor flooded. They installed our battery on the floor so this was under approximately 5 inches of water for around an hour. We switched off all the isolators and fuses, but could not switch off the battery itself (which was fully charged) since the battery power button is blocked by cables.

Evergen does not have an out of hours contact number so I called first thing on Monday to report the problem and was assured that the team scheduled to come on Wednesday 26th August would be here first thing in the morning, fix the roof, check the system was safe to switch back on and move the battery to a wall mount.

Wednesday morning came and the battery wall mount was delivered, yet no team showed up.

I contacted evergen again and after a few hours and multiple phone calls was told the roofer had called in sick, and the electrician would not come alone. I stressed that the system needed to be checked since the battery was underwater and is still switched on but was told there was nothing they could do and it would have to be rescheduled. Another day of work missed for no reason and now have to wait longer to check that the system is safe, so more days of anxiety ahead. No rescheduled date has been provided.

Honestly this company does not care one bit once they have completed the install and have your money. I would not recommend them to my worst enemy, let alone my friends. Steer well clear.

Brad, Jed and Louis were thoroughly professional. Brad listened to the customer view about where to install the inverter and batteries before a final decision was made. Jed and Louis were efficient in installing the rails and PVs. Jed was patient explaining the system to the customer. Overall rating: Good. Thank you guys.

From day one when Joanne came and surveyed my property to when the panels were installed 10 days later everything was explained to me and kept me in the picture. Graham and his team arrived on time kept me informed all the way through the installation process and were very efficient and I am very happy with the whole process from start to finish

For a long time now, we have been considering the installation of a solar system on our bungalow. In the back of my mind, I have been imagining large unsightly transformers lots of heavy unsightly cables covering the walls and holes drilled all over the bungalow. However, I decided to phone Evergen who put me straight through to their technical team who talked me through all of the equipment that would be used and how the installation would be carried out. The technical team were very knowledgeable and answered all my questions and fears of having solar installed. We decided to go ahead and have 12 panels, one inverter and two 5 kW batteries and an emergency power supply that would cover any power cuts. Three weeks later the install team arrived with all the equipment for the installation. The installation team headed by Dylan were fantastic. They ask me where I would like the equipment installed and didn’t tell me where I had to have it which was quite surprising as I was expecting them to pick the easiest option for them. We walked round and discussed what we all thought would be the best location and then they explained how it would be fitted where the cables would run and the timescale they thought it would be completed by. The installation team were fantastic and respectful of the property and fitted the most amazing equipment that is neither bulky or unsightly with virtually no cables visible. They rooted the cables very neat and tightly through the loft. There are no visible cables in the property and just a few small cables coming from the loft to the equipment that was neatly installed on the outside wall. The team installed everything in one day and when they switched the system on the small energy monitor in my kitchen was reading zero input from my energy supplier. The house was now running fully on the solar system they had just installed. I was not expecting such instant results and the system has now been running for 24 hours with the solar and the battery banks and we have still not drawn any external power from our power supplier. I was sceptical of the predicted power that we would receive from this system but it has performed exactly as they predicted. If you are considering going solar, I would have no hesitation in recommending Evergen just give them a call and they will work out a system that works best for you. We are so pleased that we spoke to Evergen and had them install the entire system. If you want to take control of your energy needs in this uncertain world with ever increasing energy cost then pick up the phone and speak to Evergen you’ll be so glad you did.

The fitters were great and very professional, there seems to be very little communication with the office and they are not responsive at all.

The Team today that arrived at our property were polite, courteous and very respectful of our Home always asked for please and thank you and it was much appreciated. I would have no hesitation to have these guys in my home any time in the future.
