Very good product but change delivery company in Italy, and update the instruction manual
Very good product! Some difficulties during new born set assembling, the new model could be better described on instruction manual. It seems less flat than the previous version, causing confusion on its functioning: when the lever is totally high, it seems the bounce is overturned...
The delivery with UPS in Bologna was really unsatisfactory...as usual with them! I kindly recommend to change shipment company, because I’ve received the good only after calling 4 times and asking information because they were misleading on the on line delivery tracking service

high chair, tray and harness
We got high chair like present from family when born our child, and We started to use it, just after installation, that was very easy and took less then 10 min, even if We didn’t use any instructions. For us it was fantastic experience with Nomi baby, just We cannot use long term because our daughter grow up fast. So after 6 months We changed for Nomi Mini so here coming some questions because child is not much stable for now, so We bought tray and the harness, with tray it comes perfect except one thing that I could take the child out without take away tray. Harness another story for now it’s not useful , it ‘s strange because in my opinion it can give more secure , but I couldn’t close them easy when child moves, and also the belt between legs is so short. I hope later I can close it, but I think the harness for children over 6 months should close more fast and easy.

You should be able to get the child in and out without detaching the Tray ? (unless your child is very strong and grabs the tray ;-) The opening is designed for lifting the child in and out without detaching, yet small enough to secure that the child can not get both legs in one opening and slide through according to the requirements in the latest highchair safety standard - EN 14988:2017.
Please note that a harness reduces the moveability of the child and may never be used as a "babysitter".
Up here in the Nordics, we generally only use Highchairs with a fixed restraint (Ie Nomi Mini), not a harness and stick to the philosophy about dining together, as the safest solution is ALWAYS to sit together with the child when the Highchair is in use, and when the meal is over, take them down from the highchair - in other words never leave them unattended. But as we are aware that highchair (and dining) culture differs on other markets, we do offer a Harness as an optional accessory.
In our kindergartens in Denmark, it's common that toddlers learn to sit unaided without restraint from a very early stage - based on the fact that it's far more safe to slide down from the seat, than crawling down from standing on the seat.

Great chair

Thanks for the review. I assume it's the Tuflok coating on the thread of the 6 assembling screws causing some trouble?
TufLok is a glue, that radically reduces the risks for loose screws over time, when you have re tightened after 14 days of use. The downside is that it takes some muscle power to get them properly tightened and countertightened, due to the resistance of the glue.
Sorry about the hassle,but when it's done, the hassle is over and you can enjoy Nomi for the years to come ;-)

Nomi Highchair with passive restraint “Nomi Mini” complies to the European Safety standard EN 14988:2017 – also valid in Spain.
An active restraint system (harness) on a highchair is not required in any European safety regulative, neither to be considered safe, as such “active restraint systems” leads to other severer safety issues. A quick look up in the US statistics, where harness is mandatory, documents this fact.
Whether it's a highchair, change stations, bouncer, reclined cradle etc. - and toddler - rule number one is “NEVER LEAVE CHILD UNATTENDED”, as this will prevent the vast majority of accidents with children elevated from floor - ie in a highchair, nursing station, on a sofa, on a bed, on a table etc.
In case this rule is followed, only a fragment of recorded accidents would happen. This is facts, documented by National safety boards and statistics.

The Highchair is nice, light and very practical, but the price for such a chair which has no expensive part is high.

Thanks for the review. Nomi may look light and simple, but manufacturing a Nomi is quite complex. The stem alone is crafted and consists of up to 32 layers of wood, it's laid by hand and the processing has many steps. Wood, steel and PP is manufactured high quality and certified materials, within EU. The upside is a highchair and a piece of furniture that lasts, while supporting a good sitting habit for the growing child, which is a gift for life. I hope you will get to that conclusion also - further down the road ;-)

Very satisfying so far
Our baby just arrived a few weeks ago, so we only tried the nomi baby. I will try to update the review later after we have fully tested the chair.
The nomi is beautiful, and all the parts fit together really well. It was simple to assemble and we are confident putting our baby in it.
He seems very comfy, so I'd say it's a success.
We have a few remarks that made us put 4 out of 5 stars : the different parts are kind of pricey, but you get what you pay for. Also, when baby has regurgitations, it can leak via the harness hole, but there does not seem to be a solution for that.
We are eager to test the nomi mini!
