If still in business whatever you do steer clear of them

Took three days for a courtesy vehicle to arrive of which I was issued with a 8 seater mini bus when I drive a Toyota Chr hybrid so u can imagine difference in fuel I then complain and after around two week get issued with a mg small hatch back of which my wife’s wheel chair wouldn’t fit without rattling of back window as we had to stand it up there’s was no space for food shopping etc if I had two or more passengers in the vehicle it just seemed everytime I complained it was escalated to management but then I didn’t hear owt to be honest the whole process of my claim was stressful as I assumed it was my actual insurance company as it said on google Hastings insurance then a number
They did send my wife some flowers only nice thing I can think of so I would not recommend them and I assume because I was complaining about issue after issue I then get told they are closing Exclusive hire solutions and moved me to Winns solicitors and I’m still waiting for my compensation and stuff to go through

Use this company at your peril

Use this company at your peril. This company started off very helpful delivering me a curtesy vehicle within 24 hours and collected my car for repair. They took eight weeks to repair my vehicle which required a new bumper on my new £70,000 Range Rover. They kept my vehicle for eight weeks and gave me paint and filler instead of a new bumper. The garage bill for my two day repair was £1500. They billed the other parties insurance company over £18,000. I have been told that this company will deliberately delay the repair of your vehicle in order to make silly amounts of money in hire car charges. After receiving my car after eight very long weeks I had wheel bearing noise from the impact site. I have been pleading with this company to fix my vehicle. Yesterday I had to abandon my vehicle on the motorway. I have been instructed by my own insurance company and the third parties insurance company to get in contact with the insurance ombudsman and trading standards. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY !!
In relation to your reply you will not be laying another finger on my vehicle, however you will be getting my bill for recovery, repair, loss of earnings. You will also be hearing from the insurance ombudsman, trading standards, and my legal team. And after a very lengthy conversation with LV insurance (third party), you may also struggle to get payment of the ridiculous £18,000 bill you sent them. Thank you Dean Salles.

Having reviewed the content of your review and consulted our customer experience team I understand that they have been in discussions with you and believe they have covered all the points mentioned above. I understand that they are awaiting correspondence from your Range Rover main dealership to confirm the source of the noises you are referring too and confirmation these are related to the incident, for which they will then be able to suggest a resolution.

I trust you will appreciate that without evidence of the issue being related to the accident from either your return visit to the original repairer as previously suggested or your local dealership we are unable to assist further. However, we are willing to assist you by facilitating this inspection at an alternative approved repairer.

With regards to the delays on your repairs, as previous explained by our customer experience team, these delays are out of our control and are the responsibility of the authorising party for repair, which in this instance is the at fault insurer LV. Whilst we understand that such delays are frustrating, I can confirm that your case was monitored accordingly, with the at fault insurer being made fully aware of all accruing charges.

I hope the above clarifies our position. However if you are able to provide our CEX team with any new information to support your complaint, they would be more than happy to review your case further.

Dreadful communication. Poor processes.

Any documentation sent was 'read only', including an account of events. The agreement for the hire car in my 'non- fault 'claim, was apparently my responsibility to sign comfirming all liability for all payments related to the hire car. I wasn't prepared to do this as any claim is against the other party's insurance company. I therefore rejected the documents.

After my car was in an accident with a lorry, while my car was being repaired, I needed a car to get to work & back. I was put onto a company called exclusive hire solutions & spoke to a very helpful & understanding gentleman called Oliver Dransfield who helped me every step of the way in helping me get a hire car great company

Not happy with Company policy - took unnecessary personal data

Someone hit my parked car, and admitted lability, I took my car to an accident repair centre who said I didn't have to worry about anything that Exclusive hire would deal with everything hassle free and they have to a degree however I do not think it is right that they should take 3 months of bank statements. They stated "is to smooth the pathway to a quick completion of the settlement of your claim with the at fault insurer" It will never make sense to me why my bank statements are necessary for the third party Insurer. Exclusive hire said it was the company policy, and there was a point of law. The young girl I originally spoke to tried to tell me it was to prove I couldn't afford a hire car (Which I could). It should be irrelevant if you have millions in the bank, someone crashed into me admitted liability, not sure how my bank statements help in the situation. I was also told that I could go through my own insurance company and lose my no claims ect (that felt like a threat). Further to this they arrange a hire car for me and didn't tell me I needed to provide my car insurance details to the hire car company. Hopefully it will never happen again but if it does I won't be using Exclusive hire.

I couldnt of had a smoother experience! The whole time i had contact with exclusive hire it was so easy to talk to all the staff members and everything was explained very well to me. One of the colleagues especially "darren hempsall" is an absolute credit to the company and made the whole process very enjoyable and a possitive! I felt very reasured and looked after in darrens care. I cant thank him enough for all his hard work and help . :-)
