My guide in Morocco Filali Abdelali has been absolutely fantastic. I had an experience in Tangiers where a contracted
food poisoning and he took control of the situation with the hotel to arrange for me to stay an extra day while the tour carried on to Fez. He helped find some medicine to ease the suffering. He called me regularly to see how I was . I cannot say enough about the care and concern he showed me. You have a gem in a very caring individual working with you a true professional.

The prices are good. But the things I don’t like are that you can’t upgrade your seat and they schedule the flights to close together so we missed our connecting flight. One hour layover.is not enough time to get to the next flight

it was an awesome adventure. Our travel guide, Marinia, was interesting, lovely and enjoyable to listen to. The trip showed us beautiful parts of Lisbon, Portal and other towns. But our main reason for going was to see/experience Fatima. Our only regret is that we did not have enough time in Fatima. We arrived in Fatima at 5:30 pm and had only one evening to see everything. The museum and the children's village were closed. We left at 9 am the next day. Fatima is a highlight and more time should be allocated for this town. All the hotels we stayed at were top notch and beautiful. The staff were lovely, kind and helpful. Beautiful Destination Trip.

I was unable to take the trip I had booked due to a medical emergency.
I tried to resolve the situation by first contacting Exoticca. I spent numerous hours both online and on hold (via numerous phone calls). When I finally got a customer service rep (after 3 hours on hold) she was of absolutely no help. She told me I could not cancel my trip and would let a supervisor know and they would email me. She could not tell me when I should expect an email. This was on March 9, 2026 and as of April 2, 2026 I still have not received an email. I'm sure I never will as the rep was extremely rude and obviously did not know what her job entailed (CUSTOMER SERVICE).

Overall, I like Exoticca. I think it provides people with an affordable travel option. I did the Exoticca tour last year to Peru and had absolutely no concerns or complaints. It was an unbelievable experience. I was expecting the same quality with the Brazil trip and it was a bit of a disappointment. It began with the pick up at the airport. The guide was very nice, but the vehicle to transport us to the hotel was not adequate to transport the four of us. I had to sit on my husband’s lap the whole way.
Most of the guides were very helpful and approachable. However, one of the guides assured us that the Uber driver who was taking us back to our hotel after an excursion, knew the hotel address. As it turned out, he did not and he was lost. We eventually got out of the car to walk back to our hotel. It was the second day and we ended up being very lost walking back to the hotel.
The full day boat day was not enjoyable at all. Everything about this day was over crowded.
Finally, we did not receive any help at the airport upon departure, including not knowing where the Air Canada counter was. We also unnecessarily arrived at the airport at least 1 hour too soon.
I am glad this was not my first experience with Exoticca as I don’t think I would consider travelling with Exoticca again.

I highly recommend the Portugal Coastal Treasures tour. It was great to be able to explore so many cities during the tour. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. He taught us so much about the history of Portugal. The hotels were good and had great breakfasts. It was a good balance between guided tours and free time as well. My only recommendation would be to spend more time in Nazare and Porto.

It’s very easy to book a package through the phone. The agents are also very cordial and helpfull. Credits on the account always very helpful in our decision for our next trip

PLEASE PLEASE do not use this company, we booked a holiday to South America costing just under £8000. We were contacted for the outstanding balance of £4000 in Nov 25 but due to an issue with the booking said we needed to pay the full amount and would receive the original £3959 deposit back.... that was in Nov 25 but we are still waiting for the refund to be paid. Exoticca customer service is horrendous with them just dismissing or ignoring our complaints and stating they know nothing about it!!
This has caused extreme stress as we have now paid £1200 for a £8000 holiday.

Excellently managed SA tour! Great value for money even for "charm" category. It would have been great though to have an in-person welcome by an Amazing Africa staff upon arrival. Saw lots of animals at Kruger. Day 3 though at Kruger had really nothing to do or any where to go except if one wanted to do another full day of game drive. Nkambeni lodge can be advised to host evening cultural dances, outdoor games/activities, a gym, boardgames, cards etc. Capetown & Peninsula were a pleasant surprise! Breathtakingly beautiful...a retirement gem💎

I like the way all my questions were answered and I was given time to ask without being rushed.

My husband is a senior traveler who has some mobility issues. The guide and bus driver took extra time to ensure he make less walk about choices. It was great not worrying about choosing site visits and transportation throughout.

What a great experience we had on the Portgual and Spain trip. The tour guy Louies and the driver were amazing. Learned so much history, met some great people and ate amazing food.

We booked a trip to Uganda and Zanzibar. I forgot to get our visas, so we missed the first two days of the trip. BUT, when I called to see if we could reschedule the flights, I was told that it wasn't possible and that if we missed the first flight, all subsequent flights would be automatically cancelled, including the return flights. We spent $6000 on new round-trip tickets.

Once we were home, I did my research and found that I was lied to. I threatened to sue and they settled out of court for the $6000.

I had also booked a trip to Morocco, three months prior to this, with my mother who has reduced mobility. They sold me a private tour to accommodate her needs.

During the initial meeting on location with our tour guide, I asked about our private tour. He didn't know anything about it and neither did anyone at Exoticca.

The short story is I had to wait until we were home and wait for the agent who sold me the trip to come back from vacation to make a complaint because the only person who knew I had paid extra for the private tour was that agent. I was refunded the extra fee for the private tour and that was it. Never mind the struggle of taking someone with reduced mobility on a trip for people with fully-functioning legs.

They don't care.

The guide was local and so knowledgable! The trip was guided but filled with lots of personal time to explore all of the amazing places! Highly recommend. Accommodations were clean and safe. Also so grateful the transfers were included- made things so simple and easy!

Saimir, our guide throughout the trip was truly outstanding! He went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and spirits stayed high throughout the trip.

I thoroughly enjoyed all of the sites that we visited during this active trip.

Although we stated a few nice hotels, some of the hotels were substandard in my opinion. At least two times the hotel staff was not present to issue the keys and our guide had to search for available rooms to accommodate all the guests.

Fortunately, my fellow travelers took everything in stride and the morale state high throughout our time together.

Our coastal tour of Portugal in mid-March was an absolute dream, perfectly organized to provide total peace of mind with seamless airport transfers and excursion logistics. The hotels consistently exceeded our 4-star expectations, offering fantastic breakfasts, while our guide, Joel, was incredibly professional, approachable, and helpful throughout the journey. We are extremely happy with this experience and loved exploring such a beautiful country without having to worry about a single detail.

Got all you said we would. The Puglia tour director was poor - read her info, and gave us incorrect info, like the Daylight Saving Time info 1 week early!
Trip is long - with long drives.
Don't go in the summer - so busy then!
