Worst Travel Agency Experience Ever

I’m giving 1 star because there is no option for less. The website and customer service are truly DISASTROUS. I have tried to purchase a travel package more than 10 times, and there are always payment issues despite having more than enough funds on my card. Nobody helps me and their responses are useless. On top of that, they charge me for non-existent bookings and then I have to wait around 10 business days to see if I get my money back. NEVER AGAIN.

Poor service: nice words but they dont care about the Customer

Well I got my email hacked and a moron booked a trip with my card charging me 1600CHF
Besides the obvious (going to the police & the bank) I tried to contact expedia numerous times.

First, they do not have any callcenter in Switzerland so you have to call somewhere and make yourself understand. Then the person who takes your call tells you: yes sir you are right, this booking will be cancelled and you will get your money back, we will contact you within 24h bla blabla… sir have a nice day

Then you wait and obviously no call, no email, just nothing… so I called again and the discussion with the operator took the same line… yes sir we understand bla bla bla I have notified our transactions team and they will contact you within 24h… I was annoyed by this and asked to
be transferred to the transactions team directly in order to solve it; the answer: „Sir I dont have that option“ „but dont worry they have your email and your phone number and will contact you.“

3 days later nobody has contacted me… So I try with the chat and the same. Sir, please wait…

Honestly this company should be out of business. It surprises me that they are allowed to operate in Switzerland with that poor service.

An absolute nightmare!

An absolute nightmare!! It took 11 hours on the phone over a period of 4 days to be able to use a credit for a cancelled flight! Complete incompetence! Never again! Book directly with the airline!

Another COVID refund experience

Because of Covid, my flight was cancelled (as many others) back in March.

The positives:
- I got my full refund (although in October).
- People on the phone were all very nice and spoke english. Super positive since it's not an official language in CH (and I don't have to stress about tryingn to speak german). In total I had to make 5 phone calls.
- They were pretty clear from the beginning that I was to get a refund because the airline cancelled.

The negatives:
- The long time. I think at least 3-4 months of them were because of Swiss, so I can't really blame them for that part.
- The phone queues were full in March-June. So I had to let my phone wait for ~2 hours while I did something else.
- However, even after the Swiss delay there was an extra issue were they were supposed to pay in August but because of an operational issue (in expedia) I had to call again in september (after the supposed 8 weeks period) and ask about it. Then they discovered it and finally paid in early oct.

Overall, I feel confident to use expedia again, but only once flights are back to normal.

Don't Use Expedia.ch!! Terrible!!!!!

I booked a Singapore Flight Jetstar, says no need to reconfirm. After a couple of week I luckily check the status of flight in Jetstar website turns out the Flight is cancelled with not even one Notice from Expedia. Tried to contact Expedia but no email or Tel. no. on the website. Contacted Jetstar gave me a Full refund because Airlines cancelled the Flight. BUT EXPEDIA.ch charge me 150 CHF. FOR WHAT? The Airlines didn't even charge me for a fee and if you look the flight which is cancelled already in Jetstar IT"S STILL Confirm in EXPEDIA.ch WHAT THE HECK??? I want my Money Back!!! ROBBERS!!!!

very poor servise

I will never use expedia again. I bought a ticket to Tromso and 3 times they have changed my schedule and I had to wait on the phone more than 2 hours and the employees are very rude and unhelpful. I will never ever buy a ticket / service from them and don't recommend to anyone.
