Wonderful service! I called to ensure my order had gone through. The staff member was very helpful and enthusiastic. The cake was just delicious.

When you’ve seen a company grow over the years and continue to love and adore their products you know you’re gonna be a customer for life. So when we got married, what other desserts would you have for your evening buffet but a selection of exploding bakery cakes? Everyone commented on how fabulous they were.

We were thrilled with the Raspberry & White Chocolate Frangipane Cake. it was delicious, beautifully made, and delivered right on time. The handwritten card added a really thoughtful personal touch, and we were especially grateful that the team wrote our message in Catalan, the recipient’s native language. It made the gift feel truly special.

The postbox tray bakes an absolute favourite for Birthday presents. They taste absolutely amazing, the packaging and personalised card are beautiful and deliver the next day. Thank you Exploding bakery, keep up the great work!

The product is good, I had good feedback from my sister in law, but the delivery was rubbish.

I didn't actually taste them as they were a gift for a hospital team who cared for me recently.
I am assured they were delicious and much appreciated as a lovely surprise. Also worth noting that the delivery was prompt, with up to date information on its progress. Communication is so important!
As I live a little away from the hospital it was great that I could order them online.
Next time I'm in Exeter I will pop in and say hello.

I was looking for a Christmas gift for my son in law who is said to enjoy baking!
The two cake books formed the basis of a 'baking box' with the recommended pans, and various items of usefulness (my daughter enjoys cooking and they have an extensive range of cookery impedimenta), so these are some things, just for him, which will be presented in a large box on Christmas Day...
The enthusiasm of these two business owners shines through, and I can't wait to sample some of their recipes. Shame we live so far away from the Café and Bakery!
