we booked on the internet. was a bit doubtful whether food will be available on economy +. and a minimum was served. hostesses friendly though not all speak english. ride was a bit shaky at times because of the rail(not like in France for the tgv). cabin clean. the best to go to St Petersburg. beware of the taxis at station claiming 3 times more. ask the hotel to send you a taxi.

We just returned from a trip to Moscow and St Petersburg arranged by Express to Russia and Yulia.
I could not be more pleased with how it went. Everything was as hoped and exceeded expectations. Our two guides were friendly, knowledgeable and spoke close to perfect English. They also gave us the ability to opt in or out of some activities which was greatly appreciated. I recommend this company without reservations.
A minor suggestion: Advise customers to drink bottled water only.
The hotel employees did not tell us that either but luckily we asked and then were told not to drink tap water.

We just returned from Saint Petersburg where Express to Russia helped us plan a fantastic tour. It was amazing! The itinerary was great and our guide really made a difference- she was super knowledgeable and cheerfully answered all of our questions (even those posed by our teenagers). Our hotel was lovely too and had a fantastic spa facility. Everything was well organized and timely, they were even responsive via email which I appreciated given the challenge of planning a trip from so m ay timezones away. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

I was really surprised and very happy for an excellent attitude of this company. I used their services for buying of train tickets between Moscow and Saint Petersburg. Unfortunately my train was canceled, but Express to Russia contacted me emmediately, informed me about situation and offered me tickets for another train in the same cathegory and day. Difference between prices (the new ones were little cheaper) was back on my account in two days. I was so happy to contact Express to Russia when I was requesting my VISA to the Russian Embassy. Express to Russia helped me with the information I needed providing me with the letters of invitation and recommendations. I bought two train tickets to travel from Moscow to St. Petersburg from Express to Russia. I received by e-mail my e-tickets with instructions. It was a smooth process working with them. Every inquiry I made to Express to Russia was replied promptly. I have no words to express my gratitude to them and great experience in my trip to Russia. Thanks Express to Russia and their Team.

Our idea of a trip to Russia began when my wife received a brochure from a well-known company offering a river cruise between Moscow and St. Petersburg. Only trouble was, the cost would have been around $15,000 for the two of us. Not within the budget. I began researching other options and discovered Express to Russia. Yulia put together a 10-day custom trip for us, based upon their "Jewels of Two Capitals" tour, that--even including five-star hotels--was less than half the cost of the cruise, and, I believe, infinitely better. Our private tours went like clockwork--drivers and guides perfectly prompt and always there to meet us. Our guides were absolutely delightful, extremely knowledgeable, and provide a personal perspective on Russia that is impossible to obtain via a large tour group or a cruise that barely touches upon the "real" Russia. It was like meeting a good Russian friend every day. Plus, they know the ins and outs, how to avoid entry lines that can take hours, and will tailor your experience to your specific interests. The sights and destinations included were, of course, remarkable, certainly to be included on any traveler's bucket list. Even more important, though, was the comfort and confidence we had during our entire visit to a country that can seem overwhelming to Americans. We enjoyed great food, friendly people, and the best-organized trip we've ever taken (and we've taken many). And best of all, an insight into a country cloaked in mystery that would have been impossible otherwise. We have nothing but good things to say--and spasiba (that's "thanks" in Russian--to Yulia and all her associates at Express to Russia.

Their response was fast. They were very efficient on making some changes on my letter. Thanks to them I was able to receive my visa and travel to Russia. In my early emails to Galina at Express to Russia I was impress d with information I received. We eventually booked two middle deck and a junior suite on the MS Tolstoy cruise Moscow to Saint Petersburg. The visa invitations were sent in time for our visa applications. Overall I was pleased with Express to Russia and particularly Galina and would recommend as a trustworthy booking agency.

We enjoyed a well-organized eight day tour of Moscow and Saint Petersburg. Our tour included Novgorod as well, which was well-worth seeing as Russia’s oldest city. The guides were extremely knowledgeable and very willing to answer questions. Our drivers were also skilled and the cars were comfortable. Our hotels had ideal locations downtown, right next to the places we wanted to see and great restaurants. Yulia provided us with a well-organized itinerary up front and made our trip very smooth.
This is a great tour for anyone interested in Russian history or who loves museums and palaces. It’s also a great value for a private tour.
