It was an easy shopping experience, with a wealth of resources to assist with ensuring that the products chosen are the correct ones for your Jeep. The customer posts gave insight on how the build I’m currently working on might looking if I incorporate the products being considered.

I am highly disappointed in extreme terrain as I purchased an item from them and upon receiving the item and seeing that it wasn't what I was expecting I returned the item and while waiting for my refund which I never received until I called them to ask where my refund was I was told that they had kept my money and put toward store credit with out asking me first clearly when someone returns something it would obvious that they would want a refund not store credit I see the tactic they are using and find it extremely inappropriate don't assume we want store credit before asking

Love to be able to converse with a tech to be sure I am getting just the right thing.

Ordered a ring and pinion kit with Tom G. on Friday and it was supposed to include the differential covers. I asked to make sure. I asked for the price with the covers to make sure as well. Tom placed the order. I received an email showing my order confirmation. The kit did not show the covers. I called the direct line Monday, no answer, and left a message. No callback. I called Tuesday, no answer, I texted the direct line, no answer. I then called the original number. I was transferred three times before Tom called me directly because they couldn't figure out how to transfer me to Tom. Tom said he remembered our conversation and my order. He then stated he didn't know why my kit didn't have the covers because he placed the order for the kit with the covers. He said I would need to pay the difference of about 300.00 and return the kit in route and they would send me the kit with the covers. That is not acceptable. I scheduled time with a mechanic to install this kit. This would be outside that window. This is the only solution offered. All extra money for this mod was allocated to other upgrades once the kit was ordered. Their Veterans discount isn't really a discount but more like a store credit. I did not catch the difference in price because I thought there was a discount on the order, taxes, shipping, and price of parts. Hard to get all of that through the phone. Very disappointing first experience. I believe I will choose another vender in the future. This purchase was over a thousand dollars. It should have been processed correctly.
