The worst outdoor cameras you can buy!

The worst outdoor cameras you can buy!
I installed 2 of them about 4 years ago and they were replaced after 6 months because they were full of water and since then they are always full of water inside every single year during the rainy season. Terrible experience!

Charged me for a free trial period

Charged me for a free trial period. Not getting back to me, no answer.

The cameras are really slow ... it might be my wifi connection, however all connections in the house safe and solid. The cameras are really slow fail to play the videos ....

You told me it was amended because my phone had minor scratches on the corner. But doesn't, I took a video as well before I have sent in its own box and wrapped well.
Not to mention its a perfectly working phone no software issue etc not one scratch on the screen or surface!

Absolutely fantastic company.

Absolutely fantastic company.
Purchased from Amazon and had something missing from the box. They sent me a whole new unit.
Nothing was too much trouble.
Best customer service and having used blink and ring as well as this brand this is definitely the best one out there and no one else has access to your recordings!

Great value for money, Brilliant camera system

Used for 16 months moved 3 times in the time I had it never had any issue’s easy to set up each time, always works on demand can put on side of phone when not on app to see at all times. Brilliant product would definitely buy again. Overall happy customer satisfied with purchase

Spend Hours getting Annoyed

I bought 3 Ezviz cameras In October 2021 - 2 are wireless and 1 is wired. I have had to have a replacement for the first wireless camera as it kept going offline everyday. Then the second camera simply wouldn't connect to the internet and I have had a replacement. The customer service if you can call it that is designed to annoy and put people off. After a month of 1 line replies they put you through to EzvizUK who basically announce that they are happy to help and will send you a new camera. But you cannot go to them direct so you have to speak to gupter In indiaI via email. You cannot ring anyone.
I have spent days and hours getting frustrated and annoyed with the quality of the wireless cameras....The wired one has worked great. I would never ever buy anything from this company again - I am certainly not alone. The items are not fit for purpose and the CS is an annoying joke.
You have been warned!

To say I am disappointed with EZVIZ, would be a compliment

To say I am disappointed with EZVIZ, would be a compliment. I bought a system with four cameras and NVR. They worked great for two years. Then I bought four more cameras and tried to add them. After spending 40+ hours, with help of Tech support, the NVR with not any recognize any cameras. I can only use the cameras live, no recording.

Rubbish

Rubbish. Worked fine until I moved house and now won’t work at all. Won’t connect to internet despite saying it’s reconfigured etc so I have put it in the best place…the bin! Dont buy this item

Total lack of support

Bought two of these - a TV1 for inside and a TV2 for outside. TV2 was ceiling mounted (as instructions) but image is permanently upside down with no apparent facility to change it. Also, my Sannce cameras allow you to set standard views for quick switching between vulnerable areas - apparently these do not so this. Tried website - no help, emailed support and got a bounce back on the email address they supplied. Don't buy these - they are unsupported, apparently featureless cameras!!

I use to love ELviz, but they are over chargin me, they took the cloud service fees twice. no one will answer me, No one will answer my emails,
then my cloud service says paused. this is not good,
I'm very This is a very bad way to treat their customers, and then no way to call them they didn't answer my emails, unbeleivable Im so upset they took my money which i have little money im ondisabiltity and being badly harassed threatened. and more. so this is not acceptable to me. wow

iPhone and a lot of them are not anymore made correctly and most trouble fact and most important the microphones from many of iPhone mobiles phones become obsolete after few IOS updates softwares, does not work anymore because, those parts are made in China and from when in China the IC is covered with some resine not antistatic and very problematic substance also can damage in time few components inside of this chemical covered IC even happened on iPhones 14 and will happened also to 15 because of the wrong idea of Concurrence of Economy team who do not worry about Our enormous money payed to Apple by each Customer which this Apple become Ostil with technical Service after few months and few years to Customers in all Countries (even of try to complete an technical issue which never exist) and those people of Service Customers do not have any idea what does mean Electronic Engineering and do not have any kind of idea how iPhone is made today and what imply real marketing when come the word of Service Customer or vice-versa. All Apple have personal like this and just try to resolve their money not money of their Customers at all. Then, not anymore Care of Customer but Care of just Employees Apple so, buy again Apple and think they change, you will suffer more and more. The manufactures those days are like indifferent people with soft and sweet words just until selling their fake products to trusted Customers (not anymore from Apple Mother manufacture just some asiatic countries where their technical employees do their imposes duty in alert ritm from their Apple rigid responsables managements teams with just management diplomas which do not know anything real about Electronic Engineering but are very smart to lie after all exact, their loyal Customers who do not know also how are real made and how must real be made Electronics Components for those very important "devices" where a lot of management change law of Physics name of real Electronic Components like Transistor, Diode, IC, Resistance, Thermistor, IGBT, Varistor, Capacitor, Triac, Diac, Optocoupler, Thyristor, MOS-FET, FET, Trioda, Pentoda, and a lot of more real named Electronic Components or more clear, they never find to apply from their creative management ideas, name of symbolistic devices but loan too easy from Physics of Electronics.
Examples; they call the same all devices, Electronics does not matters how they look like even it is a Vacuum Cleaner or Mobile Phone, Motor Driver, Driver, TV, Radio, washing laundry machine, Patephone, Video Camera, Refrigerator, Air Conditioner, etc then, buy dear Customer and you will be rewarded again with our responses, we do not have time for respond to all requests and can take a lot, a lot, a lot of time or we service customer do not have all "process" until somebody feel their marketing got down. The manufactures technology do not advance anymore for Green Planet but for their Green money and luck, because Humans are Billions and money a lot for do not have time even for number it like a lot of Softwares for cheat their Customers for ever have their life time but just for "Apple devices" and after all with so incredible and incommensurable Softwares who squash a lot from Customer Life, just to be sure nobody can catch the idea of what does mean real made by Mother Manufacture which, become obsolete day by day so, let's Go to the Future just for money after all. What does mean real Electronics Components? confusion of course something with weal's, cable, big cabinet or closet, something who make a lot of noise or extreme Radiation and a lot of Colours for take the Eyes of Customers does not matters which age, (bad for Childrens) with those "magnificent colours" Ooor!, maybe I am wrong, the ideal Customer will have a lot of money to buy each month or each week two or more of products Apple but not medicine or food or shelter. That is idea of Apple for Green Planet? "So beautiful but not work" Then, from all products of Apple, even the Microphone is considered the most important for communication, none product was spared from the cold indifference of those who only promote the concurrence imposed by the Instinct of Conservation.

I suggest you choose a different brand.

I would strongly recommend you stay away from the EZVIZ brand. I was attracted to the CX3 spotlight/camera because of its sturdy metal casing, but that is where it ended. The picture quality was not great (faces were not recognisable) and I could not get the video function to work once, despite inserting a high-quality SD card. The app gives options for coverage boundaries but, in practice, these don't work well and I received constant alerts for irrelevant out-of-scope movements. It then disconnected from my WiFi and I would have to climb onto my slopey roof to undo fiddly screws, press the reset button then re-screw to seal. Impossible for me as a 70yo and expensive to have someone else do it. Support staff wer polite but did not help with a resolution. In short, don't be persuaded by the meatal casing!

Cheap unuseable cameras

Ezviz is achinese product. But that aside, the software app for the cameras does not work properly. The app states "no videos" but there are hundreds. You can not delete a video. When you "delete all" due to space issues. All the videos are still there. Horrible app--- not US owned. Never get these cameras

I'm not sure why so many negative…

I'm not sure why so many negative comments about this company. I bought a small baby camera that was on vinted at a really low price, and I couldn't be happier about the outcome. It works perfectly and the fact that I can watch anf talk to my baby when I'm not at home, it's just perfect! Thank you!!

Company does NOT honor warranty. Expect the runaround.

Purchased a security camera with a 1 year warranty (which is still current) and the camera has begun to have electrical problems (shuts down or reboots randomly). Customer support began "troubleshooting" but every request made for
me to try has nothing to do with the electrical issue and there does not appear to be any intention to cover under warranty. I have tried the camera at other locations, with different cables, and even have replaced the camera with another one with no problems. The company stopped responding to my continued request to RMA under expressed written warranty on their public website and in their product documentation.

I've never had to speak to such a…

I've never had to speak to such a useless company before,I am dyslexic and I'm using voice software which is doing it as I speak,so writing and grammar is quite hard for me,EZVIZ I have discriminated against me being rude to me they do not know what they're doing and I've lied.
the problem I had was with one of the cameras I bought a new mobile phone I had trouble reconnecting it to the new phone when you had previously worked before,i phone customer services for help as I could not connect the camera whilst I was on the phone to him the camera got incredibly hot and started to smoke .I've asked them multiple times to record the call ,I didn't seem to be worried that it makes up my SD card or that I didn't notice it I could have been burnt alive I've been been put on to 3 different managers who have all tried to cover their backsides respectful and rude and discriminated against me even though I begged him to phone me so I didn't need to try and write an email I don't even think they employ human beings the products need to be removed and the company needs to be shut down even when I asked for it to be escalated to the main manager they didn't want to know they're too big for the boots and somebody needs to take them down they replaced the camera but would not replace the SD card for the same one that I had in there and it was the wrong camera they sent me all I wanted was to be made whole but their attitude is do not listen to customers and we are the managers and we do what we like even said there was a quality assurance department which I asked to speak to I do think they made it up .this isn't everything I need to say but it's very hard for me to write one last thing I need to mention is that they told me it's not the counties fault that I'm dyslexic and they shouldn't help me out they told me that the manager could only ring me once it's my responsibility to get someone to sit next to me and help me write emails they deliberately hung up .

I have bought a camera EZVIZ via my…

I have bought a camera EZVIZ via my internet provider Tim .
I have spend several hours trying to set the camera up without success. Then I called EZVIZ via chat,explaining the problem: their refuse to help me by saying “unfortunately we cannot give you assistance on this product,because the camera was not bought directly from Ezviz but from your internet provider, you should contact them for help.
Ok
Then I called my internet provider TIM : “this is an Ezviz product, you should contact them because is the manufacturer, you can ask for the assistance how to set up the camera or even return it in case found faulty ,this can be done under manufacture warranty terms and condition. Otherwise you can buy our technical service at cost of €29 but if we found it faulty you have to contact Ezviz anyway for the replacement!

Ezviz first and last time, the most garbage company around with usless products + assistance.

I have wasted the whole day

I have wasted the whole day, trying to get this camera to work, It keeps saying that it is connected but there is no image, where there should be an image it states that it is off-line. I have finally worked out that it is because I have had the camera for over a year and obviously the subscription has expired. I wish I’d read the previous reviews before I have spent the whole day trying to get the stupid thing to work. Wast of money and time.
