Faire as a purchasing platform is OK BUT delivery tactic is questionable
Faire as a purchasing platform seems to be OK. But they have unclear ways to estimate tax and duty fees (I bought something from France to Switzerland for a low total of 45 CHF, including delivery, with tax and duty ESTIMATE for 4.5 CHF). This ESTIMATE opens door to speculative delivery companies like DHL, UPS or other carrier to charge extra fees for "supposedly" inspecting the package for tax and duty fees (which in my case is 19 CHF for DHL). Illegal practice, I see many people write about it on forums such as Reddit. Maybe time to get a lawyer and fight with this shipment companies practice to make extra money on the side.
