After 3 years, my battery was showing its age. The new one made my phone like new.
Repairability is good, but for consumables its non negotiable. Fairphone are the only one doing it right, at the moment

So far the phone is performing well enough. I am experiencing a few freezes, implying immature software, but hopefully an update will fix that. Was surprised when an update was offered to the next OS version so checked for stability and found WiFi issues so holding off for now. I was a little disappointed when shortly after placing the order they started offering free earbuds. So I feel short-changed.

Well laid out online shop made it simple to find and order the correct battery, which was cheaper than I expected. Efficient delivery service. Video tutorial clearly explained battery replacement. Battery arrived partially charged so my phone worked immediately after switching it back on.

Shopping and overall browsing experiencethis site is abysmal. Language and country settings keep resetting and change to something I never clicked on. Site keeps refreshing. I coukd go on and on. This website is broken beyond belief and barely usable.
Get a professional and let them redo the website.

It's a phone for people who know what they need. This is not chasing latest trends in number of cameras nor is it trying to oversell software features that are mostly gimmicks. This is a smart phone, a device for making calls and with ability to run applications.

This is not a device for gaming or flexing how big your screen is. It's lightweight with long lasting battery and just enough hardware for unhindered daily use.

Only thing missing with this phone is wireless charging. Perhaps 3.5mm audio jack would be also welcome, but these days I don't use it as much. Other than that it's a perfect balance of usable and good hardware with pricing and repairability in mind.

My Fairphone 4 has provided consistent reliable service. I find that battery life is relatively short, but the ability to replace the battery myself was a welcome feature.

However, in trying to replace the battery recently, I experienced abysmal delivery service with UPS for the second time. That leads me to believe that Fairphone has a delivery issue, at least when UPS is involved.

In addition I learned that Fairphone parts and service (and the guarantee) are not available outside Europe. Fairphone does not highlight this important limitation in its marketing. I do not recall Fairphone even mentioning this limitation at the time I purchased my Fairphone 4.

I ordered a new back cover for my Fairphone 4 because the original was breaking up at the clip points. The cover has not arrived and the UPS info says that it has been returned. It needs to be delivered!!

I just switched to Fairphone both for my phone and headphones. The delivery arrived as expected. Simple, yet nice modern packaging. And so far I am really happy with my new devices!!

Easy to order, new battery arrived promptly, phone guven a new lease of life - hopefully this battery will last as long as the previous battery … 12 years !

I needed a new display, the package arrived super fast (3 days from the Netherlands to Italy) and the installation was easy to do by myself. I only faced some problems with the installation due to my own screwdriver , which was not a good quality one (I forgot to order one from the original website and I didn't want to wait another three days to install the piece); it ruined some of the screws and I only managed to take them out with the help of a smartphone technician. Moral of the story, remember to get good quality tools !

Overall, good. Communication was slow, though.

The delivery was quick and the website well laid out.
I did have an issue with the checkout process that I have had before when using the web store to buy spare parts. At the point where the approval via a banking app is needed I have to leave the browser app to grant the approval. When returning to the browser app the transaction is gone. This leaves me in the uncomfortable position of having approved a transaction for an order that appears to have failed. This means that I have to place the order again and hope it doesn't go through twice.
This is most likely an issue with the way the interface with the 3rd party payment processor.

Easy to order, quick delivery. Unfortunately, the material on the phone protection cover is peeling off.

My phone arrived swiftly, setting it up was easy and the packaging was minimal and fine. I'm very happy with it all in all.

The FairPhone is a really good Android Phone - up to speed with similar phones, looks good, feels good.
But on top of all that it's much better for the word.

Fairphone dealt with my order very well, but UPS were not very good, they do not seem to understand what a customer needs from their automated systems. Very difficult to find a way talk to a human to explain my problem. The human only gave me half of a solution to my problem , whilst an acquaintance put me onto the real solution.
Please try using a better courier service.
