Insurance for 15k mile run ticket with RunSignup that offer this company to insure my ticket 🎟. Bad idea. RegShield is a third-party entity that is a scam of a company.

RegShield-FanShield is a third-party entity don't trust them!
I already submitted all the proof of documents and I didn't pay the insurance fee, just for FanShield to give me the run-around that they can't simply refund me. FanShield are trouble. Just to make sure people are aware of how scammy the company is at refunding people.
The company (RegShield- FanShield Refund Advocate Department terrible service and scammy not worth paying the insurance for any purchase you make that offer insurance with this Company.

We booked insurance through Fanshield…

We booked insurance through Fanshield for a skiing trip which we decided to cancel due to severe weather advisories. We submitted the claim with the relevant advisories attached but now Fanshield is telling me.now that we would be considered and no show and charged fully since we didn't submit the reason for not travelling within 24 hrs of the event .As a result they are Implying that we would lose our money and not be gi en a refund which I find is ridiculous as we paid insurance for exactly this purpose

I had an unfortunate misunderstanding…

I had an unfortunate misunderstanding involving a claim. After FanShield understood what happened and the true details of my case, they quickly rectified the situation, approved my claim, and even called to explain the situation. I am grateful that my confidence that genuinely good companies exist has been restored. There are typically multiple parties involved in these matters, so I highly recommend FanShield, and if a problem arises, get the info to them directly, and count on them to make it right. Thank you, FanShield.
