Great products and service

Discovered Farmdrop rather my accident when looking online for my favourite hot chocolate (Montezumas). Am so pleased I did! Great service with some delicious meats, cheeses and bread delivered along with some nice teas and of course hot chocolate. Delivery was super quick and everything was well packaged. Will definitely be using again.

Sunday morning fiasco

Sunday morning: Had a text (number cannot be then answered) at 8.37am saying 9 mins away, was having cup of tea. No ring on doorbell, the driver took off without delivering. I assumed that he was held up. Mid-morning couldn't get through to customer services, when I did eventually, told driver cannot come back. Our Sunday food (chicken, scallops, veg and fruit) not to materialise. Cannot understand why he didn't leave our order on doorstep, Windows were open and we were here. So frustrating and I was very much patronised by the customer services lady, who, although trying her best I guess, was saying it was a 'shame' that I told her I would NOT be dealing with Farmdrop ever again.

I'm very sorry to hear that you’ve had such a bad experience. We strive to handle any and all issues that our customers experience with the utmost care and attention, but on this occasion it looks like we’ve fallen short. It is worth mentioning however, that drivers cannot simply leave orders on customers' doorsteps unless this is agreed directly with the driver - any perishable items like the chicken and scallops you mentioned would have been at risk of spoiling if left on your doorstep in the packaging our drivers can leave behind; they can't leave you with the temperature-controlled chill crates in which those items are transported.

I'm sorry too for the inconvenience caused on this occasion when getting in touch with our customer service team, it's not okay that you were left without the food you ordered for your dinner plans and you should never be left to feel patronised. I'll raise this with our team manager to investigate further.

So it is 10.30pm now and I’m still…

So it is 10.30pm now and I’m still waiting for my orders to arrive. It’s been 30min late.

Customer service works 7-10pm so now I don’t know who to ask.

No update by text when it’s near (unlike amazon or deliveroo)

So sleepy right now and have to wait for my orders unpack them put them in the fridge

Update for this:

I did not get the delivery that night. Waited till 11.30pm. My partner told me to give up.
Next day morning I woke up before 7am to wait for customer service to open. After calling the customer service a couple of times, the guy who picked up the phone told
me he managed to outsource my delivery to a third party courier and then I got them delivered to my doorstep at 9.30am.

Really appreciate that you guys sorted out in the end but I do think it’s quite necessary to get a text alert or map view with a link to see where my order is…

It’s a platform where ppl shop expensive food…I’m sure I’m not asking for too much.

Could you consider a new donut recipe?

Hello, your corn tortillas were excellent but the donuts not so much . I thought they were much too hard, and I am talking about the round donuts with a hole and the filled ones as well. In fact they were left uneaten. We did like the pasteis de nata very much.

Pretty atrocious service

In the morning told me that order had been delayed due to warehouse mixup and would be 2 hours late, halfway through the new window told me there was a routing error and it would be returned to warehouse, then when I demanded a refund, while giving me a full refund, told me that they would normally only refund items in stock..so apparently wouldn’t refund me normally when they screw up. Also got my name wrong in the follow up emails.

We're aware that the driver abandoned your delivery however the reasoning for why doesn't seem immediately apparent from the records we have.

Regarding the refund, I can confirm that the full amount has been refunded and you'll have this back on your card in a few days, if not already. Contrary to what you were told by the team member with whom you were speaking at the weekend, we will never penalise a customer for issues caused by us, and we will refund an order in full if a delivery fails due to our actions, and if it isn't possible to reschedule. The aforementioned team member has been spoken to about this point and about addressing you incorrectly.
