I have tried multiple times to purchase a property through Federa. It’s the same result every single time. You put in a very descent offer especially considering you don’t get to see the property before closing and then you wait and wait. Once the bidding stops which you don’t get to see in real time so there is no way to adjust your offer accordingly, a sign pops up that says “reserve not met.” So these homes up for auction on Federa basically want close to full price for a distressed, foreclosed property you have no way to see before closing as 99% of the homes don’t allow for it. You could wind up paying more than the actual value of the house after you make repairs. Who would do this??

Federal had a property listed. Property was listed by a realtor as a short sale and legiterlaly sold for $220000. Federal STILL has it listed starting at $5000. I believe federal just takes people's deposits and hope they will give up wanting deposit back.

I made a rather large deposit to my Federa Inc. account in hopes of purchasing a home through this company. There was nothing in my price range, so I asked for my funds to be returned. I was told no worries at all, the funds would be returned. It's been more than 2 months since a refund has been issued. I was told they were awaiting approval. I have attempted multiple ways to reach someone for an update, through email, phone, and all I have received is the run-around.DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY; they do not stick to integrity, or any promise of returned funds. I now have no other option than to pursue legal action.
I had been assured my refund had been expedited on the latest phone conversation with Emma and her guarantee that FERERA would return the funds within 48. 48 have passed and still no refund. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE THIS IS A SCAM!!

Overall my experience was business like. You have to be patient and understand the process takes time. Just be patient!!!But at the end my funds were returned as promised. I read many negative results, but I can tell you they are legit and Emma was very helpful and provided results and helped me trust and believe my money would be returned as many have believe otherwise. I read through Federa's refund policy carefully, and asked several questions prior to using this auction site. I must say that Federa honored their return policy, which states it could take up to 30 days for a refund to be completed. When I reached out to Federa's Finance department, requesting a status on my refund of 8,000, my call was returned and the date given for my refund was exact. Thank you, Federa.

I made two payments back in May 2025 and I still waiting for one of my deposits (10,000) to be refund to my credit card.
This company has a terrible website, no one answers your calls, or of you are lucky someone called Emma will tell you same excuses over and over.
I emailed Federa many times about my refund for the 10,000, no money back then I disputed the charge with my bank and the dispute was canceled because Fedra required customers to wait 30 days or more for the refund, something doesn’t make sense because they refund me the charge for 300, but not the 10,000.
I am contacting federa many times on the website asking for the 10,000 refund and now the excuse is because their financial institution didn’t notify them my dispute is canceled.
Today is October first and I don’t have my refund. It is unfair how Fedra is using refundable deposit from customers.
If you use Federal chat in the app you will have same answers and excuses but no help.
Please don’t trust Federa to do anything about auctions.

Update 1: my refund has been “processing” since August 14. I’ve reached out to Federa several times for updates and have been met with more runaround. It should not be this difficult for myself and others to receive their money in a timely manner.
Like the many others I made a deposit onto the Federa platform. I requested a refund on Aug 14, 2025 with the assurance that my refund would be return to me in 30 days. 30 days came and went so I called, all representatives were busy so I had to leave a message, did get a call back and the representative said that it would be fully processed by and I would have my funds by the end of the week.
The week came and went and my refund is still “awaiting approval”. I’m getting the run around with this so called company so I’ve been advised to contact my back to report fraud and I encourage everyone else who has been scammed to do the same.
Do not trust this entity!

Much like many others, I warn you to stay away. There processes are slow and their communication is terrible. Their ai chat bot is the only thing that replies. They have been processing my money for nearly a month and I am still awaiting a refund. There finance department no longer responds to my emails and the phone to finance is not a real line. I will update this if anything changes. Please stay away.
Updated: As soon as I posted this review they refunded my money...hmm. Still pending to go into my account, will update once I receive the money.

as with many people on this site I too have had much trouble with the refund of my deposit of $15000
the deposit was made on August 12th and I received notice that the refund was processing on
august 13th It said it would take 3 days to post It never did
I called and spoke with Emma many times She always said the same thing They have up to 30 days to process the refund. Well 30 days have come and gone and she still says it processes today and will be in the account in 3 days. I have been 3 dayed by this company for a month now.
The finance dept if there is one doesn't answer the phone
BECAREFUL at this time it looks and smells like a fraud

I have been waiting for my $10,000 refund since July. They kept telling me "tomorrow" and "high priority" and "critical" ticket just to push me off. Now, they aren't returning my calls, emails, and when I call and stay on hold, after 45 minutes of waiting, they hang up. The automated responses on this page are bogus. They say it's been resolved but it hasn't. This is such a scam!! DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY!!!
