Wasted resources, very poor service
2 times we were home and waiting for a package only to see missed notifications.I even asked for my package to be kept at a pick up location, but it never happened.I signed the tag left on the door and on top of that, called customer service to have my package left at the door.The next day, the driver took a picture from the road.I could see the old tag I signed on the picture ,someone was at home and upon confirmation, this driver never knocked on the door and they never left a new tag.If they had came to the door, they would have seen the old signed tag and left a new one.I have called daily for 4 days or 5 now.Call centre does not even have phone numbers to give to customers if we want to directly call the FedEx stations to complain about these drivers who waste FedEx company money.The call centre tickets, and requests made on behalf of customers are not even being addressed and so drivers don't even fulfill the customers' wishes.It's very frustrating going through this just because a driver feels like noone is not at home.Fedex and it's employees have been the WORST delivery providers basing on my experience.It's so shameful.AM VERY VERY DISPLEASED.

Honestly, it’s a terrible company. I’ve tried to send a package to the United States twice, and both times they just returned it without any explanation, and they kept my money — and the shipment is expensive. I’ve called customer service and they don’t give me any solution.
Completely terrible company
Completely terrible company. Watched a driver pull up to my house take a photo from his driver seat and then drive off saying no one was home to accept my Delivery. Called they said they would redeliver the next day, I am up and waiting, get a message it’s being held a facility so far away I have to spend $56 to rent a car and go get it. Can you swear in these reviews? All of the words for fedex.

The worst company ever. A delivery company that’s backlogged and have taken more than 11 days and counting to deliver a package. They costumer representative lie to me time and time again. Not sure why businesses use this company. Worst ever
UNRELIABLE
Oh boy. Same story as others. Wish I had read reviews before trusting FedEx. Dropped off a small package at Staples in Collingwood, On for Massachusetts on Nov 6,2025. I paid $36 for a 2 week delivery. Today is Nov. 30 and package is sitting in Woodbridge. No one has reached out to me. I called customer service and apparently I need to call their customs phone number tomorrow for more info. What a crock.

Unlawful and Illegal Business practises by FEDEX and DELL.
Dell has shipped Laptop purchased on Black FridaySales via FEDEX.Dell order invoice dated 19th Nov.,Indicated Estimated delivery date as 24th.Provided link to track updated on FEDEX website. Update clearly indicated delivery date as 24th before 5 PM, and under special handling section "Direct Signature Required" at the delivery address.
I was at home whole day on 24th and FedEX did not deliver and contacted CSR and she also said that no info available as to when it would be delivered. She sent an email at 5:20 PM indicating opening up a support ticket. at 5:21 PM received follow up email saying that support ticket closed.
There was no further update on 24 nor 25th as to when FEDEX delivery date would be. I was at home whole day 24th and 25th of Nov. There was no email nor any further updates on FEDEX online tracking.
On 25th evening I received a call from a 3 rd party retailer saying that there was a FEDEX parcel and for me to come and pickup, and provided an address for pickup.I clearly told her that I am a senior with disability and uses walker for mobility and that it would be difficult to travel. Then she said that it would be returned back to FEDEX delivery.
I had lost all my trust on FEDEX and Dell, Since they dont care even to update their website nor send any email reference to handing over an expensive Dell Laptop to 3rd party retailer.
I personaly had to travel to this 3rd party retailer on the 26th to receive this expensive Dell Laptop.
Today is 27th of November, Neither on FEDEX nor Dell my account website has not updated after 24th of November.
Would FEDEX or Dell take responsibilty for any damage or theft to this expensive Laptop during this period of time.
Dell has already charged a 4 figure amount on my credit card on the 24th although Dell nor FEDEX Lawfully and Legaly did not hand the possesion of ownership of this Dell Laptop to me.
Driver can’t distinguish numbers, wrong house
Driver apparently unable to read clearly posted single-digit civic numbers. “Proof of delivery” photo of wrong doorstep. Had to look for my package in a bad neighborhood. Phone customer service people pad conversations with word salad about how pleased they will be to help you and are intermittently unintelligible.
Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. No help at all. Package undeliverable, why? Nobody knows, not even FedEx employees. Computer says no! Nothing they can do, returning to shipper, call them. Funny how it got from Ontario to Delta before anyone seemingly noticed there was an issue with being able to deliver the package and had to go back. Now its in limbo and the shipper has to send another one out.
I hate when I can't choose the courier company. Give Canada Post workers what they want in their trade negotiations, because I have never had an issue with Canada Post. I've only ever had problems with Fed Ex and once with a UPS Store.

Is it possible to rate zero? I sent to US return shipment which was wrong delivered to me. Simple insoles. Nothing ridiculous. Later on they asked to fill in customs declaration and i did it. They confirmed, all fine, nothing else required. Next day i found this package front of my door. Support is something unique. First you try to fight with bit help to get alive support. Then no one has idea that is going on. They had no idea, why shipment returned, as label was clear- expire on hold. The warehouse doesn't match with custom clearance process and return package once time has gone. Support saying this is still with them, whilst i hold in hand my package. They instructed me to send it again. And unfortunately i did it. Promiced to refund first shipment and filled case on line. I finally get my money back. But second attempt was absolutely same. They confirmed, all is good, just need more time to clear package whilst i was keeping in hand my package as week already returned again. Calling again support, they move you between people and finally they told me, that they have no options to refund me, as nothing damaged, broken, etc. Same time they confirmed, parcel still under customs clearance, but it week at my house already. Spent one month to get my package back at home tvice and pay money for this. Support has absolutely no idea, that is going on around. People who proceed with custom clearance, told me, they job just upload documents in the system, then this is not they problem anymore.

Fed Ex tried to charge me duties on something I ordered through Amazon.ca. When I phoned to question it, they were rude, abrupt and said PAY IT OR IT GOES TO COLLECTIONS. I disputed it with amazon and THEY fixed it. Fed Ex wouldn't even discuss it.
Gift to friend turned to frustration
Attempted to send a gift to a friend who lives in the US. Went through the local Staples store with the estimated delivery being the following week. First customs delay: Immediate call to fix paperwork. Second customs delay: Let it sit there and when I called in to see what was going on after a week, "all is fine, we just have a backlog and are working through it". Three weeks after initially sending the package, it's being returned to me with no explanation. Call again: "oh you didn't have a customs broker". So... You wasted 3 weeks of my time, letting me think everything was fine when I called to inquire about needing any more information to get things going? Unprofessional. I will be resending the gift using another courier.

as a BUSINESS OWNER I would expect that a MULTI-NATIONAL / MULTI-BILLION+ COMPANY like FedEX should/would go out of business with this many CUSTOMER COMPLAINTS against them. I tried to send a GIFT BOX/PACKAGE on my PERSONAL FedEX ACCOUNT to London, England UK from CANADA paying TOP PRIORITY PRICE for 3 DAY DELIVERY guaranteed on OCTOBER 9 2025. NOT only did FedEX FAIL delivery on that date; they were almost a week LATE attempting 2-3 X times on OCTOBER 14/15/16 when my recipient was out of the country on a business trip. they knew it was supposed to be delivered on/before OCTOBER 9-13 = it was a BIRTHDAY GIFT = they do NOT apologize or acknowledge failure or solutions in writing; instead a customer has to deal with outsourced call center reps overseas verbally who do not communicate well or can NOT make any promises. my BOX/package is now being returned to me at my request and if I did NOT call to find out what was happening with updates I would NOT have received a TRACKING #NUMBER or even knew it was coming back because they also failed to send me an eMAIL confirmation or FULL REFUND on $500 SHIPPING COST$ as per my request and closed case support ticket .. NOT GOOD +& SERIOUS COMMUNICATION DISCONNECT. FedEX AGENT STAPLES also tries to hook customers into the INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMS/DUTY TAX FEE CHARGES SCAM even when they are told that a package is a GIFT with $0.00 VALUE. this is the third time I have had a bad experience. FedEX 3THR33 STRIKES = yoU ARE OUT!!! DHL +& other COURIER COMPANIES are even worse = FedEX SUCK$; but they SUCK the least and that is NOT saying much. The absolute WORST delivery service in Canada
The absolute WORST delivery service in Canada. There customer support is at times acceptable, but the delivery drivers are beyond unprofessional. In my decades of having packages delivered by FedEx Canada (not by choice) at least 80% of the deliveries are never attempted. The driver just says no one was home and they take your package to one of their facilities (a 45 minute to 1 hour drive away, each way) and tell you, you can pick it up. I'm sure it makes the work day much easier and shorter for the drivers when you just don't do your job and dump all the packages back at the facility for people to come pick up themselves. The problem is FedEx Canada seems to be well aware of this practice, but doesn't care or care enough to do anything about it. Horrible business practices and completely unprofessional service.
It Doesn't Get Any Worse Than Fedex
Shipping companies are either bad, worse or THE WORST. Fedex is the absolute worst on every level, from the local shipping depot right on up to, and including, the national customer "service" support. This company is a nightmare...they will cheat you and then you will waste hours (or even days) of your time trying to resolve the problem. While Fedex pretends to offer customer support and a dispute process the entire process is designed to first, cheat you, and then make the dispute process so difficult and time consuming that you are forced give up. STEER CLEAR OF THE THIS COMPANY.
Worst Service
The customer service agent was so rude. I provided my full mailing address, including box number. He couldn't advise anything because I included my box number. To make matters worse, there is a Canada Post Strike and the company did not make contingency plans to deliver to places that they use Canada Post to make the delivery, so remote areas.
Read the Label
These folks don't know how to read, but they can follow Google Maps, that is wrong for my address. I have complained about it to FedEx to no avail. All I need from them is to read the address label and deliver the parcel to that address. Simple request, but apparently it does have its challenges for FedEx.
Pretty good.
I give them 4 stars. The customer service is a lot better than it used to be and they were really helpful. My only gripe is the app and online tracking don't match.
