While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more
To protect platform integrity, every review on our platform—verified or not—is screened by our 24/7 automated software. Feefo operates as a closed platform, meaning we ensure that only verified customers—those who have actually used a product or service—can leave reviews. This approach helps maintain the credibility and reliability of the feedback you see on our site. In contrast, open platforms allow anyone to submit reviews, which can sometimes lead to less reliable or biased feedback. We believe that by verifying customers, we offer a more accurate reflection of user experiences.

How this company uses Trustpilot
See how their reviews and ratings are sourced, scored, and moderated.
Clearly a site companies use to scam consumers into thinking they are trustworthy and highly rated when in actuality the company makes it next to impossible to provide reviews.
One of the criteria is that reviews must be 4 weeks after the experience. This eliminates most consumers who would prefer to post immediately whilst their experience is fresh as opposed to forgotten. A typically scammy business tactic they will pose as a usp.
When you go to write a review, and then submit it, if you have written a bad one, you get an error message and it then it wipes out all the information you have written.
I filled in my review, but I kept getting asked:
Verify you are human by completing the action below.
What a useless system!
I called EVLO to see if they could help me out and to my surprise they did. I spoke to a lovely lady called Joanne. She went above and beyond my expectations to get me the best loan deal which has taken the weight of the world off my shoulders. From start to finish Joanne was thorough in every way possible. Explained literally everything to me. I cannot thank Joanne enough for putting a smile back on my face.
I was invited by Honda/Feefo to leave a review of the appalling service I received at Honda Grantham.
Feefo rejected the review even though it was technically correct, polite, and had no bad language.
DO NOT TRUST FEEFO REVIEWS THEY SCREEN THEM AND REJECT ONES THEY DO NOT LIKE. DO NOT TRUST ANY COMPANIES LIKE HONDA (UK) WHO RELY ON THEM FOR REVIEWS
Disgraceful behaviour - I shall never trust Feefo
It’s impossible to leave a Feefo review for a holiday apartment that was double booked. So the owner is left unscathed and the customer’s holiday is ruined. Makes a mockery of the reviews.
I wrote a negative review, in detail and gave the company 1 star. When it was published, they gave the company 2 stars and edited it down to 3 sentences. The specifics had all been edited out.
As other reviewers have written, I left a negative review for cottages.com and Feefo withdrew my review. I contacted them a number of times on order to try and get my honest review published but they sided with cottages.com who are their customer and left my negative review off the site. Completely dishonest behaviour and doesn't help future bookers/customers.
I left a negative review to a business. My review disappeared within few hours.
Also another negative review left by another customer few days ago was also deleted.
This is very suspicious as even when I spoke with the business they were NOT concerned about the negative reviews (seems they knew it would be deleted). So Feefo is untrustworthy. Meaning bad businesses keep practicing poorly knowing Feefo will delete all the negative reviews.
Wrote a review for Bristol Airport Silver Zone car park. I said the service was excellent but that it was extremely expensive and that I had found an off-site alternative that was highly rated for about half the price. They rejected it because either a) I had named a competitor or b) I had provided details of pricing. What a waste of time!

I’ve done thousands of reviews, that’s what I do consumer reviews, non paid. It took me ages to write a condense review of a holiday we had at Heron mead site via hoseasons. Hoseasons were excellent, so much so we have booked another two additional two holidays. The fault here lies with Feefo. There wasn’t anything untoward in my review, and luckily I copied my review for Trustpilot. I don’t know what kind of game feefo are playing here at all. Moderators have stated partial review was made not all, no explanation why it wasn’t printed. I do hope Hoseasons use a different platform, I will not waste my time and energy doing a 5* review to not be used.
Awful company.
Morons email me for reviews at 2am waking me up whilst phone is on silent but vibrating - no common sense at all! My phone is left on vibrate for emergencies not to be pestered about a recent product that I purchased!!
Just look at the reviews of various businesses on all other sites, collate the data and compare it to Feefo. Feefo is basically a shill company to ensure a company that has 2 stars elsewhere can maintain a perfect review record. They want people to jump through pointless hoops to give an honest review, then ensure it goes through your spin process to water down criticism. Who founded this company, Peter Mandelson?
I don’t find it “confusing”, as suggested by the patronising response from Feefo. I simply find it disingenuous. I used your service to leave a review, and had it, essentially, watered down and altered to the point it was not a true reflection of my experience - this was the only way you would allow the review. I’m sure there are a great many people out there faking reviews for fun…
5% is an astonishingly low amount of negative reviews when you consider people are MUCH more likely to leave a negative review than a positive one.

Feefo does not accept my negative Review for their customer - their excuse: the dealer which I was forced to name in their form is not in their scope - but my Review was about the Distributor not at all about the dealer.
So Feefo does anything to safe their Customer from bad Reviews…
Being charging me for six months now . I spoken to you a month ago and you had that you had cancelled it and I would be getting a refund on May’s bill . Instead you are charging me again 😡
Fake review site. I sent a genuine review about a product which was very poor and they only submitted part of the review (the part that wasn’t very critical) and rejected the other part (that was critical of the product) stated this was because I has put it in the wrong column. I asked for clarification and they have ignored the request. Obviously working for the appliance company and only publishing reviews that are positive.
I have to agree with many reviewers of how bad a review site this is. I gave a Hoseasons review, in general it was positive but I wanted to make a point regarding cleaning of a lodge. This section of my review was removed, ie re edited and published without my permission. I have tried to contact them and complain but just come up with dead ends . I think companies such as Hoseasons should stop using them.

Scam site - they remove reviews that are critical of products. They are only interested in getting money from the vendors and don't care at all about consumers. Do not trust anything based on Feefo reviews.
They will not stop sending me emails asking me to review a product that I purchased, even though I've already reviewed it. I never consented to receive review requests in the first place and really don't appreciate the repeated spam.
The seller showed reviews on Feefo and says I will get an invitation to leave one. I never did and NONE of the relevant links on the Feefo website work so I cannot leave a review and warn others about poor quality and misleading descriptions on Woolovers. This is probably deliberate by both companies. Conclusion: Feefo is a PR exercise for misleading reviews and, most likely, lies.
