I am writing to express my gratitude for the recent, wonderful, experience my family and I had with Fenix funeral services. Our dedicated funeral director, Liz was patient, professional and comforting in our time of need and went above and beyond to support my family and I. She kept in touch with regular phone calls and always made herself available to us to answer any questions I had, accommodating any changes we wanted to arrangements and took a real and heartfelt interest in our wellbeing during the worst time of our lives. Our celebrant, Shirley, was a perfect combination of respectful and compassionate. She took the time to visit us and listen to us speak about our adored late family member, asked all the right questions and made us feel that she really understood what he was like. The funeral service, itself, was impeccably organised and seamlessly conducted by all, including Reece. The professionalism was second to none and Shirley spoke beautiful and accurate words and guided us through our grief at the ceremony, allowing us to say our goodbyes in the exact way we had wanted. I would more than recommend Fenix to anyone who loses a loved one.

During a difficult period I could not thank Fenix Funerals enough and inparticular pastor Stephen Semple. Stephen went over and beyond in making sure the funeral happened on the correct date following tight timescale challenges. His calm approach and level head made me feel at ease and helped to take the stress away. I would most definitely recommend Stephen and Fenix Funerals an excellent example of customer care. Absolutely the worst funeral service that I truly hope no other grieving family has to suffer from. I entrusted Fenix with my sister's final arrangements, and it proved to be an absolute nightmare. I selected their direct cremation premium package with viewing and overseas sealing and certificate services. However, from the very start, the funeral director's negligence was painfully evident. I anxiously awaited confirmation on the Friday, the scheduled pick up day, that my sister had been received into their care. The director failed to update me until the following Monday because she told me she was getting off work (Friday 4:30pm) and wouldn’t be able to confirm the whereabouts of my sister until Monday morning, leaving me in agonizing uncertainty over the weekend.

The viewing, meant to provide solace and closure, only compounded our grief. Shockingly, they placed my sister in the wrong casket, and the engraved wooden board displaying her date of death was wrong. To add insult to injury, when we received my sister's ashes, her name was misspelled on the engraving of the ash casket. As if these errors weren't enough, there was no sealing or sealing certificate for the overseas journey to Hong Kong. Initially I wanted a lighter and more travel friendly casket, but was told the one I chose could not be sealed, and they would have not been able to issue a sealing certificate. I had been assured that the wooden casket they recommended would be sealed and accompanied by the necessary documentation. Instead, I now find myself carrying with an unnecessarily heavy casket with the wrong name without the sealing & certificate that I had to pay for.

Fenix's consistent failures and utter disregard for our sorrow were extremely infuriating. Dealing with these distressing mishaps while grieving the loss of my beloved baby sister has been a soul crushing and unbearable experience.

It helped me when the repatriacion felt for my mother's body. There were kind and did not show greed in our darker moment.

Working alongside with a funeral planner was hard due to my loss but I enjoyed the spectacular services and amazing professionalism of the employees as they where on time and nothing went wrong I also loved the way my family and I where consoled and reassured by everyone of your employees.
