The team performed a highly professional service on my 10+ year old Dutch city bike, which now once again rides beautifully.

Great service, good price, no delays
The service was great and the team is nice and professional. I initially came for a puncture but got a full service done in the end. Big thanks to Rowan, the process was quick, didn't have to leave my bike in the shop for ages and also he found parts which needed to be replaced for an affordable price.

Updating my previous 5* review for Fettle. First experience in Hyde Park was good, nice guys and quick turnaround, spent over £250 with new tyres.
This time I had a terrible experience.
I had a rear flat so opted to have the bike collected from work, less than a mile from the Hyde Park store. They told me the bike would be collected and taken to Colindale.
I had no say in this at the time and they didn't suggest the process would take any longer.
I got a call from the repair saying we needed to replace the tyres. I went with the same pair as last time, the Conti 5000s (wrong choice as they're actually heavier if you use tubes than their cheaper version... my bad) and agreed to the prices - £90. The guy said the tyres would arrive on Friday, this was on Wednesday, so fair enough. Although they had them in stock in Hyde Park shop the last time.
I then got an email saying the bike would be dropped off the following Thursday. That was the earliest slot. The whole process took EIGHT DAYS as opposed to the day turn around I got last time.
A bit miffed, I took a look at the receipt. £20 PER tyre change. Tyres costing £20-£30 / tyre more than my nearest central London bike store. I actually challenged this on the call as I was quickly checking prices online to compare. Mechanic said I was looking at different grade of tyres (which I wasnt) but I agreed to the prices. With the drop off and collection charge I'm dropping an extra c. £100 for the above.
So I emailed saying this is all a bit of a mickey take given the duration of time it would take. I totally understand paying someone else for doing something you cant be bothered to do, but that's usually done quickly? I'd asked for them to reply with options, clearly wanting some money off next service or w/e.
They don't reply for several days so I chase. The customer care advisor eventually emailed me back with a 'gotchya!' email saying he'd actually listened back to my phone call with the mechanic and said I'd agreed to the tyre prices on the call. As if I said anything different in my email. Completely missing the point and adding a weird intrusive and accusatory dynamic to the situation, which left a particularly sour taste.
Bike came back with a different fit (making the £250 fit I had in the summer somewhat obsolete). The seat was at a bizarre angle.
