I have been a *very* happy user of…

I have been a *very* happy user of Filefactory for ten years, a Premium subscriber. I used it regularly, several times a week and was vey happy with everything.

Then they decided to fix something that wasn't broken. Since sometime in 2025 the service has been unreliable, and since the turn of 2026 utterly useless, I am very disappointed and quite saddened to say that it has fallen so far. IF they get it running properly again I will certainly continue paying for premioum, but that looks like a distant dream at the moment as it seems to be like everyone involved has just walked off the job - only robot responses, never a live person to discuss things with.

No access to the website

I am a lifetime member and currently cannot access my account at all. I have sent multiple emails to support and have not received any response.

Since the switch to the new site, I’ve experienced ongoing issues. While downloads were inconsistent before, I was at least able to log in occasionally. Now I’m completely locked out and unable to access anything.

It’s extremely frustrating as a lifetime member to lose access with no communication or support. I hope this gets resolved quickly, but the lack of response so far has been very disappointing.

Filefactory is now to be avoided at all…

Filefactory is now to be avoided at all costs. And no pun intended with the word "costs." It doesn't work anymore and there is no customer support at all. They will take your money however.
Ive used then since about 2010 but now its totally useless. I have over a year of premium package left and nothing downloads. Nothing. I signed out, now I can't sign back in and the site doesn't send a link to reset the password.

I have used Filefactory for approx 14… now its useless

I have used Filefactory for approx 14 years, It has worked fine for pretty much all of this time until the recent beta rollout. since then nothing has worked. I cannot download anything. All my files show up in my files but I cannot access them or anything else. I have now given up trying to contact the site as they do not reply. Also since yesterday I can no longer even send them a message, I just get a 'security check has failed' message. I have two days of premium to go but no way of renewing even if I wanted to.
Sadly and Unfortunately its goodbye to what used to be an excellent service

No Customer Service

Similar to other regular users, Filefactory.com hasn't worked since their upgrade. My Premium Service subscription ran out, but they don't have an option to enter payment details.
Two emails sent but no reply. They should put up a message to the world that they are having software problems.

AVOID THIS SITE IT IS COMPLETELY USELESS - A WASTE OF TIME & MONEY

This used to be a fantastic site but since the launch of their beta version nothing has worked. There is no response from customer services at all after weeks of messaging. They have really, really messed up and let themselves down. They have tried to fix something that wasn't broken and in doing so have completely ruined everything. After over 10 years of membership I have given up. They don't deserve people's money, they don't deserve to have a website as it is run so badly and they clearly don't care about their customers. An absolute disgrace!

FileFactory Has a Death Wish

FileFactory must have a death wish — it’s the only explanation for how badly this service has deteriorated.
I’ve been a premium member for FOURTEEN YEARS and stuck with them long after things started going downhill. But the latest so-called “enhancements,” combined with non-existent support (“the team is currently away and will be back in approximately 17 hours” — spoiler: it’s always 17 hours), have pushed it over the edge.
Before my premium access even ran out, I was unable to download anything at all which is literally the entire point of the service.
To top it off, you can’t even reliably pay for premium access anymore. No support, broken systems, and zero accountability.
After 14 years, I’m finally sticking a fork in it. FileFactory is dead to me.

Previously good; now awful.

I've been a Premium member for many years and was very satisfied. Recently, however, a new shell has been added and the service is extremely unreliable. Further, customer service, which previously was good, now appears to be non-existent; certainly it has been completely unresponsive to my requests. Here's something to watch for if you're in the US. The prices are quoted in dollars but you'll be charged for the same number of EUROS. Because Euros are worth about 15% more than dollars, you'll be charged 15% more than the dollar amount quoted PLUS any conversion fees. Also watch out for there "approved re-sellers". I tried to buy a plan through MOONPAY but the seller demanded my Social Security number, lying that it was a government requirement. Obviously, this was an attempt at identity theft. To show you how bad " customer service" at file factory has become, I reported this attempted identity theft by one of their re-sellers to them and FF never even bothered to respond.

About 90% of download links now dead

Such a shame.
I've been a premium member for about 12 years, but in the last 6 months it's been awful.
First the website was almost constantly down during an 'upgrade)
Now, the website is accessible, but 90% my searches now return dead links. (common films, TV, music mainly, software).
I was due to renew this month, but sadly It's not worth it.
I've closed my account

What is going on here

What is going on here? This was the BEST downloadsite ever and after your upgrade gone to the worst? I tried going to premium but then came across paying with crypto? And where is the search button gone? Even if not paying it is not there anymore

Search engine listings not updated or visable for 5 days now

What has happened. It is now 5 days and the have been no visable updates to download on the Search Engine. If I want to download something eg mp4, mkv etc there are NO listings shown now for over 5 days. Paid for a service I can not get, and despite their comment that their support team will get back to you within 24 hours. Not True still waiting after 4 days.

Filefactory - What a complete disaster

A further update to the sad saga which Filefactory.com has become. Having been a subscriber for many years and having experienced the "upgrade" disaster I let my subscription expire. I thought I would wait and see what happens in a months time. Well not much better.

Today I tried to purchase a 1 month subscription to see if things ha improved. The first issue I noted was the advertised price is US$19.00 for the month yet when I click to make the purchase this changes to Euro 19.00 which converts to US$22.16. Now its not much but just continues the very very poor user experience that Filefactory.com is now well known for.

To add further insult that is clearly the user policy of FF, "to not care whether the user has a good experience or not as long as they can take your money" the site says the transaction will appear as "CPAY*UNIVERSALG". When I search for this in google my Avast security tells me the site is a phishing scam.

I'm done with the site for the forseeable future, you just have to see how many people have paid good money are having issues, lost files and Andy or Frank or whatever their name is just doesn't give a damb about them. Take the money and hear nothing else.

As for support, don't wste your time. They just don't answer, as you the subscriber are only important to get your money then just go away and stop bothering them.

Its a true disgrace what has happened to filefactory. The owners and programmers should be very ashamed.

Filefactory - a huge useless site.

Filefactory has become a huge useless site. They do not reply to complaints. Their service team has been replaced with AI bots. Agents are always, coming back on Monday or will be available in 8 hrs when you will get a reply (it never arrives of course). They take your money and ignore you. Do not subscribe to this site - you will regret it!

Why Oh Why…

What have you done to this once great site. Now nothing works the new Beta system is worse than useless. I am a premium user but have not been able to download for some while now and if it was at all possible I would ask for a refund but that is never going to happen because you ignore all correspondence like you are ignoring all these reviews from people who care and have been supporting you for many many years. As lots of people have already said why did you have to try and fix something that wasn't broken.
