Fing is a must-have for homelab visibility — hoping VLAN support lands soon!
Fing has been a fantastic tool for keeping tabs on my home network. Simple, mobile and light with fun extra's! The device discovery is fast and accurate, and the alerts help me stay ahead of any unexpected changes. I especially appreciate the clean dashboard and how easy it is to identify new devices at a glance.
As someone running a segmented homelab, I’d love to see VLAN support added — it would make Fing even more powerful for monitoring across multiple subnets. Fingers crossed it’s on the roadmap!
Overall, Fing delivers great value and peace of mind without the constant tweaking others require. Highly recommended for anyone serious about network client visibility.

Happy user for many years
Been using the free version for many years and premium for a year. I absolutely love the app! I mostly use the app as a port scanner.
Wanted to go back to the free version. The charge of annual paymemt made me aware I had not cancelled. Customer support answered quickly and instantly refunded payment without any fuss.
Helped with a Fingbox V1
Even though this is an old product and there are more current solutions from Fing available today, Michal helped me through some testing that got me to a point where I could reconfigure my network to get my Fingbox V1 working. Thanks!

I have used Fing for years to see what devices are connected to my Network and to see when. It is a very useful product
Bait and switch?
Years ago I spent a lot of money and bought a Fingbox so that I could have real-time monitoring of my home network and block devices when needed. Instead of adding cloud and remote value-added features for a subscription model, the company decided to reach back and cripple the capabilities we had already paid for, so now we can only scan once a day, and can't block a device with our own Fingbox without paying for an ongoing subscription. I won't do it out of principal because that's a crappy way to treat customers! Add features for more money, don't take them away and ask us to pay to get them back!

As a recent Fing user
As a recent user of the application, I find it very versatile and detail enough for troubleshooting issues. Subsequently, I will upgrade to the full version to use all the features available and re-review the full set of the application.

Definitely works!
Good Network Monitor
I've had their software for several years now and have been every satisfied. I'm a home user with multiple devices to monitor. The software is very easy to use and provides a lot of information, including if someone unknown comes in to the network and can be deleted. Really don't understand the negative reviews, as I've had good experience with both the software and Customer Service.
Fing on Windows
Fing was not working properly on my laptop - except I could create a trouble report. The advice I got from Fing support fixed the problem and I found out a few things about using Windows at the same time.
It fits the bill without costing a fortune
As with most apps that can seem like a mine field I had a problem where all my devices renamed to my Google pixel 8 but as I found out later I synced all my devices names to on active name. I had to mess about finding out the IP of all my devices so that I could renamed them and all OK. It does seem to keep dynamic IP addresses because a device can change it's IP address each time it logs on so you appear to have more IP addresses than devices at times. The Fing Team seem to be interested in the work that they do and follow up any queries I a professional way. Well done.

Have used this app as suggested by one of the products I install. Have not been able to keep it running consistently for more than two days in the free mode. If I can't keep it running in a free mode, I am not going to give them money to have it work just as lousy.
