I’ve been trading with Finotive since…

I’ve been trading with Finotive since October 2025 and had been performing well. I successfully withdrew $3,190 previously, so this review is not from a new or inactive user.
Last week, when I requested a $3,000 payout, my two funded $100K accounts (Account #80081519 and #80096981) were suddenly flagged for Enhanced KYC review.
I completed the KYC process, but I encountered technical issues with the verification page not loading properly. I contacted Finotive support on Discord, and James from support advised me to switch devices/browsers to complete the process. I followed that instruction, and the verification went through.
The next day, I received an email stating that my KYC failed because my IP address changed during verification. Out of the three IPs listed, my correct residential IP from Uganda was clearly included. However, Finotive chose to ignore this context and cited a breach of their Terms & Conditions due to IP changes — even though the device switch was done on support’s advice due to technical issues.
As a result:
Both $100K accounts were closed
My $3,000 payout was rejected
My Finotive account was suspended permanently
I sent a formal re-appeal email to compliance, including a video explanation showing the timeline and technical issues, but I have received no response.

This experience has been extremely disappointing — not because of KYC itself, but due to:
Being penalized for following support instructions
No discretion applied despite clear context
Complete silence from the compliance team after re-appeal
I’m posting this review hoping Finotive will finally review my case properly and respond.

Dear Daniel,

Your accounts were placed under elevated KYC review, during which our KYC provider (SumSub) identified the use of multiple IP addresses across different locations and networks within minutes, including a hosting/VPN-type IP.
As stated in our Terms & Conditions (Clause 4.12.2), rapidly changing IP addresses during KYC results in an automatic verification failure.

While our team may have advised you to switch devices to complete the verification, this does not permit multiple IP addresses from the Netherlands to access your verification in Uganda.

All actions were taken strictly in accordance with our published Terms. Characterizing them as punishment for following support guidance is inaccurate and contradicted by our documented email correspondence.

Furthermore, when you contacted us to re-appeal, we responded clearly that second attempts are not permitted during elevated KYC verification. In reply, you acknowledged our decision, stating:
"Dear Compliance Team,
Thank you for your response and for clarifying your position.
I acknowledge the decision and appreciate the time taken to review my case and provide an explanation.
Best regards,
Daniel"

That being said, we remain committed to transparent operations and consistently apply the same standards to all users

A Mathematical Trap: They change the rules mid-game!

Avoid Finotive Funding. I just lost my account because they decided to change the rules mid-game. As a scalper, I was managing my risk, but their sudden 0.6 lot limit on Gold for a 100K/200K account is a total insult to professional trading. Imagine holding a powerful 100K account, then suddenly being restricted to 0.6 lots. Does this lot size even make sense for a 100K account? It’s a joke! This made the trading environment extremely uncomfortable and stressful for me. This restriction made it mathematically impossible to recover my $3,600 drawdown using my strategy, forcing me into Swing trading which eventually led to losing the account. Look for firms that respect professional traders and seek a long-term partnership, instead of this company that only drives traders away. They preach Consistency but they are the ones who destroyed mine. This firm is a trap.

Dear Rakan,

As stated in the Terms & Conditions, all accounts operate in a simulated market environment designed to replicate real trading conditions. Because of this, trades may experience slippage, variable spreads and execution latency, especially on fast-moving instruments such as XAUUSD and XAGUSD. These are normal characteristics of market-type execution and cannot be fixed or removed for individual accounts.

It is also important to clarify that trading style compatibility is the trader’s responsibility:
• Very short-term trading with extremely tight stop losses (for example 3-5 pips) is highly sensitive to spread and execution mechanics
• Metals in particular have wider spreads and more volatility than major FX pairs
• The notional volume rule does not prevent risking 1% — it limits exposure size, not the percentage risk. Position sizing must therefore be adjusted accordingly

In other words, the issue you are facing comes from applying a scalping/day-trading methodology that relies on minimal spread tolerance to instruments and conditions where such precision cannot be guaranteed.

Finotive accounts are evaluation environments intended for sustainable, market-replicable execution. Strategies that depend on near-zero spread execution or instantaneous fills may function differently than expected and can lead to results like the one you experienced.

For this reason we cannot treat the loss as caused by a system fault or provide reimbursement.

If you choose to continue trading, we strongly recommend adapting position sizing and stop placement to the instrument’s average spread and execution characteristics.

So far so good

So far so good. Passed my challenge and got funded.
The spreads are tight, and the commission is low, which aligns with my strategy.

So far, I have received my first payout. I hope we continue with this trend

This prop is a very malicious scammer

This prop is a very malicious scammer. I passed the challenge phase and made a profit on my funding account, but my withdrawal was denied due to some hidden rule that was not in the terms of service. My account was then closed, I could no longer sign in to the dashboard, and I was permanently banned.

Dear Masaki,

Your account was reviewed in accordance with Finotive’s Terms & Conditions (Sections 7.6 and 7.10). The assessment identified trading behaviour that did not meet the standards of responsible risk management, including:

-Excessive exposure concentration, with multiple correlated positions held simultaneously
-Recreational or loss-chasing behaviour, with repeated attempts to recover losses without adjusting position size
-Clustered gains and losses, indicating reliance on market fluctuation rather than consistent, controlled trading

Based on these findings, the account was offboarded and access to trading services discontinued. All actions were taken in line with published Terms. Characterizing this as a “scam” or citing “hidden rules” is inaccurate.

We remain committed to transparent operations and apply the same standards to all users.

I can confidently say that Finotive is…

I can confidently say that Finotive is a legit and professional prop firm. I have already completed 6 successful payouts, and every single one was processed correctly.
For my latest payout, I was asked to go through KYC and a live compliance call. The process was clear, transparent, and professional from start to finish. No tricks, no unnecessary pressure — just proper verification to maintain high standards.
The call went smoothly, everything was explained clearly, and my payout was approved without any issues. This only confirmed that Finotive works with serious traders and actually pays when rules are respected.
If you’re looking for a prop firm that values transparency, security, and long-term cooperation — Finotive is the real deal. Highly recommended. 💯

Great instant funding conditions

I’m currently trading a 100k Instant Funding account with Finotive and I’ve already received two payouts (waiting for the third).

In my experience, they offer some of the best conditions for Instant Funding: no trailing drawdown, no consistency rules, and no unnecessary restrictions. Everything is transparent and easy to follow. Support has been excellent and the Discord community is active and helpful.

Pricing is on the higher side, but frequent discounts make it more accessible. Overall, very positive experience so far.

No big payout will allow!

i purchased an Instant Account from them, for my first trade i made 2% and request for payout, then they review 2days for just 1 trade, and finally only make payout. eventually i burst that account afterwards and purchased another new Instant Funding account.
This time i made 4% in 2 days, and request for a payout to breakeven my purchase price for the account, then start saying KYC issue and need enhance KYC. previously no such issue. then ask for compliance call and ask strategy those, since my strategy only risk max 1 % per time. during that call, my phone unable to share screen and i show the camera onto my desktop screen to explain my strategy. after 2 days, they sent me email saying during compliance call i am using 2 devices, so my call was failed. stop my payout, never payback my initial purchase and stop me in future.

i have friends did a multiple payout, weekly he made payout around 1.5k then no issue. In my opinion, this company if u can make 2-3k payout in few days they will start finding problem and kick u out .

P.S. during the trade time, other than the normal spread and commission roundturn, yr profit will always missing by 5-10pips per position. i even recorded the video and send them no as usual no news, saying is slippage. but those trade made during normal hours, not peak hours or news hours... and most trade will deduct 5pips ++ which is very consistent.

Dear Yeow Huei Kim,

Your account was placed under compliance review, and you attended a mandatory compliance call (which can be requested at any stage of your trading journey). As clearly stated before the call and in our Terms & Conditions (Clause 4.12.3(b)), the call must be conducted from a single device with full screen-sharing capability.

During the call, you were unable to share your screen from one device and attempted to conduct the call using multiple devices. This is a strict, non-negotiable requirement, and failure to meet it results in an automatic compliance failure. This is necessary to verify account ownership, prevent third-party assistance, and ensure platform integrity.

The outcome of your compliance call was not related to payout size, profitability, or strategy. Claims of “hidden rules,” selective enforcement, or market manipulation are incorrect and unsupported.

We remain committed to transparent operations and apply the same standards consistently to all users.

My Experience With Finotive Funding After Multiple Payouts

My experience with Finotive Funding has been positive, especially after taking multiple payouts from them. In the prop firm industry, payouts are the real test, and that’s where Finotive has delivered consistently for me. Each payout I requested was processed in a clear and professional manner, without unnecessary delays or confusion.
What I personally like is the transparency of the payout system. The rules are clearly defined, so you know exactly when you are eligible and how the process works. That gives confidence, especially when you are managing funded accounts long term. I never felt uncertain about whether my payout would be approved once all conditions were met.
The trading conditions also remained consistent even after payouts. There was no change in execution, no sudden restrictions, and no pressure from the firm, which is something many traders worry about after withdrawing profits.
Support has been responsive whenever I had questions related to payouts or account status. Communication felt professional and respectful.
Overall, after multiple payouts, Finotive Funding has proven to me that they are focused on long term traders and sustainability rather than short term marketing. Based on my experience, they have earned my trust.

Permanently closed account with absurd reasons and reject payout

When I want to do my 2nd Payout, they want me to redo the KYC process and make an interview.
after interview, they say I use VPN , my IP fly to 700km away in one hour but my location still in my country, If I use VPN why I still in my country? why don't fly to another country?
Its just telecom company problem!

Now they suspend my account and reject my payout
And kick me out from DISCORD !

Please hear the advice.
Don't don't don't use this scam platform anymore!

_____________________________________________
For Finotive Reply
1st : If you use your phone data , your IP location will fly to anywhere in your country, this is common sense, if I use VPN , why another platform didn't detect I use it ?. I still trade in funding Pips , Instant Funding, FTMO and others Prop firm platform, only FINOTIVE using this absurd reason to reject payout!
Not only me facing this happen

2nd: I've been completely honest with your team, we weren't discussing entry/exit points or trading strategies, just the current market situation. Every trader must have another trader friend, so do you expect all traders is reclusive, friendless, or even autism? You all really enjoy hearing lies?

Hi,

Our technical review identified multiple IP addresses accessed within a short timeframe from locations approximately 700 km apart, which is not physically plausible. This indicates either VPN usage or third-party account access, both of which violate our Terms & Conditions. Supporting evidence from MT5 logs, including IP address records, was provided to you via email to ensure full transparency.

Additionally, during the compliance call you confirmed that you shared trading tips with another trader, which is explicitly prohibited under Clause 7.10 of our Terms & Conditions.

All actions were taken strictly in accordance with our published Terms. Claims that this was due to “telecom issues” or that the platform is a “scam” are inaccurate and unsupported by the documented evidence.

We remain committed to transparent operations and apply the same standards consistently to all users.

....

I would like to share my experience. My account was blocked due to KYC verification, as I could not provide proof of address in time. I am based in Iraq, where circumstances can make this process challenging, and I was given only 72 hours to submit the required document.
I had to request a bank statement from another city, as there is no branch in my location, and the bank could not provide it within the 72-hour timeframe. Unfortunately, this led to my account being blocked.
I sincerely request the company to kindly reconsider the account suspension and allow me additional time to submit a valid proof of address.
