Arrived well packed with no breakages & the driver was very helpful .

First4tiles were brilliant to deal with. From the initial advice on which tiles we should use for different areas, to prompt delivery during COVID restrictions, they were a pleasure to buy from. The tiles were very good quality and we love them.

Just before lockdown we dealt with the Lincoln branch and the team there were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They were friendly on greeting us and allowed us to browse. No sign of pushy sales tactics anywhere.
We have been back since for more tiles. Highly recommend.

I visited first4tiles Lincoln showroom in June 2019 as I wanted to find the best way to tile my chimney breast into which I had installed an inset wood burner. For the project I was looking for a tile with a contemporary style. I was also concerned that as I would be tiling to a chimney breast which would become very hot during use.

After spending a few minutes in the show room I found a natural split face stone ‘Silver Sunset Panel Tile’. On enquiry I found Andy and Kian to be very helpful in advising that these panels could be fitted without the need for grouting. They calculated the correct quantity if tiles for the project and offered advice on the correct adhesives for the situation advising to use Keraquick White Mixed with latex plus mixer, also advised that I coat the chimney breast with Primer G all of which would ensure safe heat resistant adhesion.

During Covid lockdown I finally managed to find time to complete my project. I found the panels simple to measured and cut using a diamond wet cut table tile cutter which I borrowed from a friend. Following their advise I was careful to accurately measure and mix the adhesive and latex solution which resulted in excellent adhesion and the panels have stood a couple of months of heat from the log burner and remain firmly in place.
