Holy shit was a cluster fxck

Holy shit was a cluster fxck

I got a notice that our Delaware C-Corp is delinquent and inactive because we did not file our 2023 delware annual annual tax report in 2024. Except I DID! I logged on to the Firstbase platform, paid the fee, and have the confirmation email from them that it has been SUBMITTED!

The company is showing a due amount of $150K now for god knows what. What a nightmare. Our company is inactive. NIGHTMARE AND AVOID!

The gal of these people to avoid a phone based customer service when dealing with this level of sensitivity.

be very wary

I had few email exchange for setting up an LLC, at first they invoiced me $399 but I engaged with their support and I came to know that they have hidden costs for business mail and agent fee. The support is pathetic with delayed responses, seems this company is focused on charging you more and more and even then there is no professionals behind. Being a business individual, I don't mind paying even $500 as I understand that every service comes against a reasonable payment, but unfortunately this company is ZERO at professionalism.

Best company to start your company in the US

Modestly priced and easy first steps to start a company in the US.
I started last year and it has been a flawless experience. I continue to run my company and compliance with them.
They guide you step by step right from registering in which state, selecting a address to opening a bank account on Mercury.
Highly recommended.

Firstbase was very easy to use and made the incorporating process very straightforward. The few questions I did have about the process were quickly answered by the Firstbasw support team. I would highly recommend Firstbase to anyone incorporating for the first time.

Great experience

I am overall really excited to have an all in one platform that helps me with getting my startup up and running. Firstbase is really tailored to the needs of founders and being a foreigner from the USA, its been a real help having a platform that knows the ins and outs.

Nothing but a bad experiences since 2023

The entire experience since 2023 has been pretty horrendous. I wouldn't recommend.

Admittedly, they were just launching their platform in 2023, but now it's been 18 months, and they are still trying to figure it out. And getting it wrong.

I pay for a service that files my annual state reports, and yet every year, as the date approaches, I get notices from the state that it hasn't been filed. Then I get a notice from Firstbase that it's not included in my service, which is 1000000%, which is not what the screenshot I showed them says. And 100000% not what the email that I get from them that says
"This report ensures your business remains in good standing with the state and is often submitted alongside franchise taxes. Since you're enrolled in Firstbase Agent Autopilot, we can take care of everything—enter your dashboard to check the following steps."

Their leadership for a startup is not responsive to customer escalations, proving they don't care about the customer experience.

I registered my LLC with Firstbase and…

I registered my LLC with Firstbase and found their support quick and efficient. I got through the verifying process and received all the needed official paperwork very quickly. They also provide post scanning for non-US residents, which I've used, and it works great.

Firstbase failed to file my Delaware…

Firstbase failed to file my Delaware report on time, then had the gaul to charge me a percentage handling fee for their costs in paying the late penalty. After I paid the fee they still didn't file.
We're going to be migrating away from Firstbase this Fiscal year. Their product and service is broken.

Awful customer service

Awful customer service. Ignoring all my emails.

Update: I already did submit the ticket a few days ago, someone replied me through email (Sunny), and since there I exchanged a couple of emails, but haven’t received any answer for almost a week now. Please take a look.

Reliable Mailroom Service - Highly Recommended

I've been using Firstbase's mailroom service for over a year now and it's been pretty seamless. Their platform just works without me having to think about it much, which is exactly what you want from this kind of service.

The user experience is clean and straightforward - much better than other solutions I used before. Their pricing is reasonable too, especially considering the headaches it saves me.

I'm planning to switch over to their registered agent service soon as well. Firstbase is solid.

I had to wait more than 60 days since I submitted my SS-4 but

They always respond to my emails. This is one thing I like about service providers. They proactively listen to my requests.
But I had to wait more than 60 days since I submitted my SS-4 but I did not have an EIN. I emailed them to ask why I had to re-sign my SS-4, but they did not explain but urged me to re-sign soon to get it resolved.
I had to wait for my EIN to register for the payment gateway for the Store for a long time and it affected my work a lot.
And until now they still have not responded to me why my SS-4 had to be re-signed: was it lost? Whose responsibility is it? And if someone is responsible for that, should they make an effort to promote or do something to fix the problem?

They have been working hard to get my EIN back to me as soon as possible since the second time I re-signed the SS-4 form.

So I updated them to 5 stars.

I actually got my EIN.

Helpful but Costly and Lacking in Basics

I’ve been a Firstbase user since October 2023. It helped eliminate much of the hassle of company registration. However, their account management system is a mess. It took me 2 weeks and countless back-and-forth conversations with the support team just to change my account email. Although the change now seems successful, some notification emails are still being sent to my old email address...

Additionally, I can’t update my company information on my own and have to contact support for any changes. This is very inconvenient, and I’m uncomfortable sharing sensitive company information with random support agents.
