Persistently ignored emails requesting an explanation for rate increase. They then promised to provide this over the phone and lo and behold did not send it.
Daryl, Development manager, mildred court, addiscombe, London.
Daryl does his job exceedingly well and goes over and above if you ever need help.
John Deag 33 mildred court
Daryl is an excellent manager who always goes above and beyond what he is technically obliged to do to help the residents. He works more time than he is paid for and always finds time to listen to any issues that we have. He is truly outstanding

Appreciative feedback regarding Neale Redman.
It is wonderful to report how Neale has settled so well into his role at Jasmine Court, Horsham, and the impact he is already having within the development. His professionalism, approachable manner, and willingness to go above and beyond the bounds of duty are truly appreciated and are meaning, I'm sure, a great deal to him, the residents and all FirstPort Staff concerned.
The thoughtful gestures mentioned, alongside his day-to-day commitment to residents and the development, really do reflect the kind of environment FirstPort always strives to create.
Yours sincerely,
Chris Piper (Resident, 2 Jasmine Court, Horsham, RH12 1AX

We have many issues outstanding for months, one 12 months. Since the beginning of October hardly anything has come to a conclusion. Promises are constantly broken, emails to the property management and to the MD are routinely ignored. I have been asked to name a date in the review but it could be any date this financial year as it's an ongoing situation. These are our main problems.
All below discussed several times the last promises on 20th March but not actioned.
Bin area asked to be cleaned
Contact to be advised for our accountant to talk to a member of your finance team
Trip hazard on path to be sorted
2 outside lights not working
Urgently need new intercom system quotes
Investigate communal water tap
Communal satellite dish not working since October, arrangement with engineer to be advised
No window cleaner since beginning of October no one employed.
2024/5 accounts now received but several requests for justification of huge overspends not answered.
Also in 2024/5 accounts there was to be a reduction from the surveyors for the roof repairs this is not shown.
Job descriptions and visit frequency to be supplied for service providers.
Emails repeatedly not replied to.

I never give full marks :) Mo at Torquay office answered very promptly. Was able to answer my enquiry quickly even though he had to refer to a colleague. V pleased with the way the call was handled and the speed.

Prior to buying this property, I had never heard of management companies on new build estates although my solicitor was concerned, I had sold my property and needed to find a new one, in hindsight I wish I hadn’t purchased this property. The original owner was probably glad they sold.
Dealing with FP is stressful to say the least, I try and get answers but responses take too long and concerns are not addressed. I have a current case pending but haven’t received a response to my question regarding emergency assistance which has never been on the budget before and staff member stated was in the TP1. I asked for the section or the policy. Frankly I don’t believe their accounts.

In the process of fixing the roofing at our condominium apartments, the satellite dish was moved , thereby preventing TV reception for the apartment owners. This situation continued until Rebecca, from the Customer Service team at Firstport, picked up the gauntlet and persevered in getting service restored. Thank you Rebecca.

We have been at Homefort house for about 8 years and we have seen 3 permanent managers and quite a few interim managers but our present manager Louise is the best we have had by far. She handles all the problems that occur with ease and complete professionalism. She goes that extra mile to make sure all the residents are happy and safe. We couldn’t ask for a better person to be looking after us and we certainly wouldn’t want her to leave.

My experience personally was excellent and every issue was dealt with immediately. My mother had a chipped window caused accidentally by a landscape gardener while cutting the grass, and Louise arranged for this to be sorted without any hassle at all.
My uncle also reported that my mother’s door was not closing correctly, and once again Louise resolved the issue straight away.
Lastly, my mother accidentally left some laundry items in the laundry room, and Louise kindly made sure they were returned to her.
Louise has provided an amazing service throughout, always being professional, helpful, and efficient. Without hesitation, I would give 5 stars! 🌟
Kind regards

Always professional and efficient service but at the same time thoughtful, kind and caring, and very helpful to the residents. I have lived in Homefort for over ten years and the current management team, I think, are brilliant. Homefort is a safe, friendly and warm environment to live in.

Louise is a wonderful manager and so very personable 💃🏿 always willing to engage in conversations (when she’s not too busy) and is extremely efficient around Homefort House. A fun lady with a great sense of humour 😁 xx

I want to buy this particular property buy there is no mortgage protection clause on the property and my lender requested for deed of variation, its 2 months now they are unable to provide deed of variation
Another update on my Formal Complaint to FirstPort, about our stand-in Developement Manager.
On April 1st 2026 we had a New Property Manager at Priory Court. On 29-4-26 he emailed me to tell me he was an Area Property Manager at FirstPort for four years
and has taken this promotion, he is keen to sought out my concerns regarding “stand in”. He is aware we have not had an Area Manager for some time and Priory Court is now part of his area, with a line Manager, that I have never heard of. He went through some bits as regards late payments et. He thinks that was because of no Area Manager overseeing Priory Court. He then went on about the New Furniture, was quoted for several companies and would not gone ahead if there was not enough funds in our redecoration Fund, he attended Priory court on Tuesday 28 th April, the Lounge and Furniture are “Lovely” the furniture of a high quality etc, he was lucky to speak with several other residents who had nothing but positive words to say about the Lounge, then went on basically about the gardeners, no extra invoices etc.
Absolutely nothing about Stand in until :- Stand in is at an hour or two a week, to carry out the weekly Fire Test and all other Health and safety Checks, unfortunately a dedicated Stand in Manager available to attend Priory Court. Silly me I thought with this experienced guy and
my Senior Complaint Handler on the case, I might get somewhere…wrong. Emailed the New Developement Manager “ who is supposed to oversee “ stand in “ to explain, do not know about “ several company’s “ quoting, stand in said only one, as six residents instructed him, went all over this in a recorded conversation with “stand in” on 28-7-25. I don’t think you have read all my emails to “ stand in” or FirstPort help, I think when you say it was signed off by a Manager I assume you mean Eva Migdal, assume another Property manager from somewhere on the 29-5-25 think the paperwork says all the residents have agreed this, hope that “stand in “ logged all the names of these residents.
Than we have “ stand ins “ explanation to me, he told me he had sorted it all, because there was a problem with Barons ( not the same quality ) three missing tables, but it’s OK as we are getting some money back, and it was signed off by Nick Beneke, now an X Director will send you a recording of this conversation. This conversation also has bits relating to “stand in” giving permission to the Builders next door to fence off some of our garden
for the summer and he negotiated Biscuits for some residents, you must of seen this when you walked around Priory Court. As you know one of the garden contractors employees finally admitted he was going to Deck and lay out a resident at Priory Court and also verbally abused two others, our stand in thinks it’s acceptable that this individual is allowed still to work on FirstPort Site, I disagree with this strongly. Our new Developement manager goes on, “Stand in” will be looking after us at Priory court, on a temporary basis, one to two hours a week, and has said when he is on Site he will ensure that we are all safe, suppose this is good news, we are all going to be safe for eight hours a month,
and he will put notices up if anything is happening at Priory Court, like when the AOV’s were inspected on Monday 11May no notice that day just a resident had to enquire who he was, not good for one of our Ladies to have to tackle a Contractor. I am hopefully going to receive some information from my Senior Complaint Manager, shortly about our Stand in Developement Manager, will up date if this happens.

Terrible service (no service to be accurate). This "management company" is completely incompetent and luckily we managed to oust them and change to someone else. If they are still your management company, you do have the power to remove them. If you are looking for a new management company - AVOID!

A great manager and indeed one of the best in 20 years.
