Buyers beware! I have had a similar experience with Fishe and Lilly’s lack of customer service. I’ve ordered the best part of a £1000 worth of furniture from F&L and no one knows where it is.
Received an email saying that the item was on its way and then an email from the delivery company with the time slot. An hour before the time slot, I received a text message saying the delivery will be late. Not great, but nice to be informed at least. A short while later another text message saying that the delivery has been cancelled due to the item not being despatched!
I’ve been assured that someone will be in contact but alas a week later, and multiple tries with F&L customer service and AIT (delivery company), I’m beginning to feel like I’ve been scammed out of my money. The “team are working on it” says the online customer service chat.
Beautiful well made furniture. Brilliant communication and customer service chasing up the delivery company for me. Would totally recommend.

This experience has been so consistently bad that I feel obliged to warn others.
I ordered a coffee table with storage which arrived next day – and that’s where the good news ends.
From the moment I opened the box, there was a terrible smell from both the packaging and the table itself (which it still has). For not a cheap piece meant to sit in the middle of my living room, this is completely unacceptable.
The table arrived full of scratches and marks everywhere, looking like it was heavily used than new. The handles were in terrible condition, already looking worn, and the colour of the drawer did not match the rest of the table – slightly off, but very noticeable. I have more than 30 photos documenting the damage, scratches and defects.
I contacted the customer support and sent all pictures. In response, I was offered an “amazing” 15% discount to keep the table, which is frankly insulting given the state of the item.
The customer service process was just as bad. I was told that to get an exchange I needed to send them pictures (it was never clear of what exactly, given they already had multiple photos), and then, they would at some point arrange a collection, the item would be sent back to them, they would inspect it, and then send a replacement.
This makes absolutely no sense when the product is clearly defective from the start. After this, I lost all confidence in both the product and the company and asked for a return and refund to my original payment method instead.
A collection was then scheduled for 1st December, with a full-day window. I took time off work to make sure I was at home. Nobody came. No knock on the door, no call, no SMS, nothing. I emailed to say the item had not been collected – still no resolution and no contact. The table is still sitting here, smelling awful.
Please stay away and save yourself the trouble.
UPDATE 15/12/2025: A month after the purchase I was notified that return was processed and refund will be on my way MINUS restocking fee. For an item that arrived in an unacceptable condition without any fault on my side they CHARGE a restocking fee.

I never normally write reviews but this has now become ridiculous and I don’t want others to go through it.
I ordered two bedside cabinets and a dressing table after reading good reviews. I received an email saying they would be delivered 2-3 days later which was great. But then on the delivery date I received another email late in the day saying they hadn’t managed to get them out. Fine, I understand these things happen.
However, I was then called by the delivery company on a random mobile number with a garbled voicemail that I couldn’t hear. Nobody tried to actually deliver my furniture. Next thing I get told that the delivery has been cancelled and sent back to the company and the delivery company can’t do anything.
I’ve been back and forward with F&L multiple times via email where they keep reassuring me that it’s on its way and that I need to get in touch with the delivery company to rearrange a new order. But then I’m also in touch with the delivery company who say it’s not true and a new order needs to be raised. Loads of WhatsApp messages and emails and in the meantime my money has disappeared. Does make me wonder if all the reviews on here are company generated and this is a scam company, so please do consider when purchasing!
If it’s a simple miscommunication between delivery company and F&L then please sort it out asap. This is really poor customer service if so.
Lovely item with a slight issue, the customer service team have been amazing. Quick replies, helpful instructions and a new item is already on the way. Muskan‘s help was fantastic.

I was looking for bedside tables to match my headboard, but as it was a spare room I didn't want to pay a fortune. I found the tables at Fishe a Lilly and they were perfect. All we had to do was attach the legs. The table itself was nicely made and felt sturdy. Delivery was very quick. I would definitely use again.

I had a wonderful experience, parcel was not delivered properly by the delivery partner and ended up lost. I informed the F&L team and got a very swift response and received a replacement a couple of days later - really good customer service and the oak table turned out very beautiful and good quality. Will definitely return.

Stunning product at a great price point. We had a slight issue with the order delivery as one item was missing but, after an email late on the Saturday, Stephen contacted me straight away. By the next working day, we had our missing item. I would not hesitate to order again.

Appalling customer service. Desk ordered had 2 bigs chips on top and uneven varnish. Emailed customer service with address (still) on website no reply. Phoned customer service 3 days later to be told to email on another address which I did and no reply. Follow up email yesterday, no reply. Really disappointed. Desk does not look as nice as in photos and is not of quality I would have expected. Customer service diabolical.
My order was dispatched next day and arrived promptly. Really pleased with the furniture - solid wood, excellent quality. I'd buy from Fishe & Lily again without hesitation.
