Total scam - do not purchase anything from them!

Luckily I only ordered a £15 resistance band. This was at the start of April. I didn’t receive it for ages then got a text saying it had been shipped. I waited but nothing came. I tried contacting them on the phone number they had sent me the confirmation on but nothing. Recently I got a refund for the band but no communication from them. Also, in the last few days my card that I paid with has been used to pay for items in Argos, which I did not buy!! It’s all very odd but if you’ve received a refund it might be worth checking your accounts.....seems like a coincidence! STAY AWAY from this company!!

Scammy. If they’re still up and running - steer clear.

Date of order 28/04/2020

If a website could give off a ghost town feel, Fitness Up’s did. Not to mention their shell of a social media presence. But given what I was after was sold out everywhere else, Fitness Up was almost too good to be true. Off I went ordering what should’ve been a 20kg Olympic bar at £218.59. It was only when I noticed in my pending transactions that the debit was to “STRIP CURTAIN” that I started to feel somewhat wary.

I revisited the website from time to time a couple days after my order - it’s top banner reading “we’re open for business” or similar, I had quickly received a confirmation email and later the banner at the top of its site changed, not before the website was briefly taken down. Which rang alarm bells again. The banner later read “please allow ten working days for your order to be delivered” - reasonable given the current health climate. I then received an email stating “your order is on the way, track your shipment to see delivery status” there was a glimmer of hope but what I was really after was courier information and details as to how much I was being taxed. None of this information was provided within the order. It was all very basic and cobbled together.

Surprise surprise the order never arrived, cue a series of calls, emails, Facebook reviews and attempted contact via Messenger - all on my part. No answers. No acknowledgement of my complaint. But I could see plenty of others had found themselves in the same circumstances. What is even more bizarre is that these fraudsters have allegedly refunded a couple of people... I’ll believe it when I see it.

Remember, kids, Fraud By False Rep can land you up to ten years. And I want my money back.

Contacting my bank tomorrow to get the ball rolling with getting my money back.

Hugely disappointing , had accepted that I’d probably lost the £300 I’d spent on items never delivered but very pleasantly surprised that they have refunded me IN FULL this morning .
Thank you .
