Disappointing

Unfortunately, this is the worst gym I have ever been to. It is always overcrowded, the girls’ changing room is poorly planned with no space at all, and the thing that makes it unbearable for me—and makes it impossible to go and work out—is the scent used by the staff as an air freshener. It is heavy and horrible; I don’t understand how this type of fragrance can be used in a place with so many people. Consideration should be given to everyone, with proper ventilation and a neutral scent. The smell from this gym makes me feel nauseous, and several times I have had to leave quickly to avoid vomiting, yet my stomach remains upset for the rest of the day.

I moved out of Germany and gave them my deregistration, they wanted me to pay for additional fees and they didn't respond to my emails, they completely ignored what I sent them, all my emails. They sent me the wrong account where to pay them the money, and because the account was wrong, I couldn't pay, but then they didn't respond to my emails and this way they prolonged the period that I had to pay for additional month because they didn't respond to my emails, gaining the time that way to make me pay even more. Service is very bad and unprofessional!!! Don't get any membership here!!!!!

Awful customer support and payment system

I was not notified when a payment failed (app showed it was ok). After settling everything with finion capital, my membership continued blocked. I sent prove of payments do customer support 5 times and they had the same answer that I should contact finion, which I did and they said it was all ok. I just gave up now. They have the worst customer support. They don’t communicate with their payment operators and rely on the customer trying to find a way to do their job

Extremely Disappointing and Arbitrary

So, Fit 7-11 Kalbach suddenly sends out an Email to its members this past weekend.
Apparently, they’ve “listened to our feedback” and decided to “act on it” and give us a Hyrox-Gym. All within a month’s notice!
Never mind the fact that the feedback and the people giving it are both imaginary.
In case it isn’t obvious to the head-honchos at the firm by now, none of the paying customers at Kalbach are really interested in this.
I’ve been a member at this gym since 2019 and I can vouch for the fact that it is a gym with a difference. People come here to workout, to collaborate and make each other better - like a tight-knit “community” of like-minded fitness enthusiasts. I’ve not seen this atmosphere in any other gym I’ve been to, much less any other Fit7-11 branch.
We have something worth preserving here, please don’t ruin it to just chase a trend.

Very poor customer service experience!

I am moving out of Germany and requested the cancellation of my 02 Black Label contract. I provided the official deregistration document from the country. My request was flatly rejected, and I was told that, as a so-called gesture of goodwill, I would have to pay every single monthly fee from the very beginning of the contract just to be able to cancel it. This is absolutely outrageous! It is clear to me that this company desperately needs to overhaul its customer service. I strongly advise against anyone ever signing up for a membership at this gym. Profit is clearly their one and only goal, and because of that, they have completely lost my trust and approval.

Bad online shop service

1st I ordered black bulldog online, they sent me a white one by mistake. It cost €19+€5.74 for shipping.
Then I wrote an email asking for a switch, and returned the package, but they simply refunded me only 19 instead of full payment

I am so disappointed that I did nothing wrong but lost €5,70!

Moreover, they never responded my emails!

Harassment, bullying, fraudulent, illegal

Fit7/11 has harassed my for 7 months now.

In accordance with the agreement made when I signed up, which states that if you move away a sufficient distance you may cancel the contract, I informed Fit7/11 of my move (out of Europe) and provided them the necessary documents: As soon as they were available, I sent a copy of my Abmeldung, letters from my employer stating that I will be deployed to a different continent, and my rental contract in my new home; I even offered copies of my new foreign employment permit as proof of my exit from Germany.

Fit7/11 refuses to honour the agreement made, and have refused these documents as sufficient proof that I have left Germany. They have also continued to harass me endlessly. They have threatened me with fees, national debt collectors, and a civil court case.
With their blatant aggressive behaviour and refusal to hear reason, I was forced to ask a lawyer to interact with them on my behalf. Even this support resulted in Fit7/11 only accepting the termination of the contract upon payment of several extra bills beyond the dates I was based in Germany.

To escape their threats, I paid the money settled upon by the lawyers. However, the harassment has not stopped, and the debt collectors Finion FairPay continue to threaten me (bear in mind, they are sending their letters to the address where I no longer live and have not lived at for 7 months, still refusing to acknowledge my departure from Germany).

At this point, I just want this nightmare to end. It is clear that the costs to Fit7/11 of involving lawyers, debt collectors, and the court system are much higher than the value of my individual contract with them, and that the harassment behaviour is an intentional strategy, to who knows what end.

I would strongly advise against ever entering an agreement with Fit7/11. I wish I never had.

I highly advise not to come to this gym. I missed one payment and he cancelled my contract of 24 months. And requested a 24months month payment all together

Three Years of Loyalty, Months of Mistreatment

My experience with SevenEleven Fitness has been nothing short of a nightmare. After being a loyal member for over three years, I attempted to cancel my membership in July 2024 due to a relocation to Essen, a city with no SevenEleven locations. Despite providing significant notice, proof of my move, and following their instructions, my cancellation was delayed months, resulting in unnecessary charges.

SevenEleven demanded a city registration document as proof of my move, which I couldn’t provide immediately due to administrative delays unique to foreigners in Germany (appointments at Auslanderbehorde). Perhaps unique to Essen, the Burgeramt will not register foreigners on Visas for city registration, they will refer you to the Auslanderbehorde. Despite this explanation, they refused to accept or consider reasonable alternatives. Their staff made the process even more frustrating: one associate, Pascal, acknowledged the unreasonable situation and suggested that my lease agreement with my landlord would suffice, but when provided, other staff dismissed this, ignored follow-ups, and even hung up on me during phone calls when i attempted to reconnect with Pascal again (so kind of you Emily).

As if this wasn’t enough, they referred an alleged outstanding balance of €73.94 to a third-party collection agency, Finion Capital, after finally terminating the contract, adding collection fees and further harassment. This is despite the fact that the charges stemmed from their mishandling of my cancellation. They will continue to refer to the ruling of 4 May 2016 - XII ZR 62/15 of the Federal Court of Justice, which implies that a move does not constitute good cause for the termination of a contract to substantiate their predatory and unreasonable practices, Loyal customer or not.

SevenEleven’s policies are inflexible, their staff unhelpful, and their treatment of customers appalling. I strongly advise against joining this gym unless you’re prepared for endless frustration when trying to cancel your membership.

Despite my frustrations, I am open to updating this review if SevenEleven Fitness acknowledges the mistreatment I’ve endured, resolves the issues fairly, and demonstrates genuine respect for me as a long-time customer. After three years of loyalty, I never imagined being subjected to such rigid policies and unprofessional behavior. It seems clear they prioritize squeezing as much money as possible out of departing customers rather than fostering goodwill. While I am willing to work toward a resolution, my faith in their willingness to treat customers fairly has been severely damaged.

Terrible Gym.

Terrible Gym.

I would strongly advise against anyone considering joining this establishment.

First and foremost, the reliability of their gym trainers is highly questionable. On two separate occasions, my training appointments were canceled at the last minute, leaving me scrambling to rearrange my schedule. One of them was particularly egregious, with the trainer simply failing to show up for work without any explanation. And they didn’t offer me any compensation for this.

Furthermore, the facilities themselves leave much to be desired. Despite frequent complaints, the gym has failed to address basic issues such as malfunctioning machines and scalding hot tap water. It is unacceptable that these problems have persisted for months without resolution.

The staff at the front desk lack the competence to effectively handle customer complaints and inquiries. Their inability to address issues in a timely and satisfactory manner only compounds the frustration experienced by patrons.

In conclusion, my experience at FITSEVENELEVEN ZEIL BLACK gym has been marred by incompetence, unreliability, and subpar facilities. I would strongly caution anyone against patronizing this establishment and will certainly never recommend it to others. Save yourself the hassle and find a gym that values its customers and prioritizes their well-being.

Gym studios are fine. Customer support and invoicing are awful.

The studios in themselves are fine. The staff in the gyms is friendly. But the customer service and invoicing are a disaster.

First off, if you contact customer service, you won't get an answer in weeks; especially post-covid. There is no follow up on e-mail trails; and answers are mostly unhelpful. They will not discuss if you need to pause your plan if you are going abroad for months.

It is almost as if they are trying to prevent customers from terminating their contract by playing the clock.

Second, they will charge your account without warning (or without invoice), sometimes by huge amounts, irregularly. This happens even after termination.

After my contract termination and the final settlement, I removed the firm their direct debit rights. They tried to collect more amounts (without warning), and failed obviously. So they ramped up their collection agency immediately (again, without any notification).

Avoid them; they don't have it together.

Please sort your customer support out!

Really nice gym and the people are friendly overall in the facilities. However, their back-office support and service is terrible and almost brought me to the decision of cancelling my membership. Thankfully things were eventually resolved but I will see how things go for the next 6 months, if there are any major price increases after their outlandish redecorating I will be cancelling immediately.
