Dorian in the Aberdeen store was more than helpful, I felt welcome and free to bourse for as long as I wanted. Dorian answered all my questions suitably and helped me to make the right decisions for my home gym requirements. What more could I ask for?

Delivery Disaster
I bought a piece of equipment on Monday, it was with the courier on Tuesday, it is now Friday and nothing delivered. I called customer service who informed me the Courier had tried to deliver but we weren't in, which is false. Upon further questioning I was told that the courier had to book us in before delivering, I have never been called so why would they try and deliver. I now have to wait until Monday to receive my item, what is frustrating is that my address is only 25 minutes away from Fitshop's Warehouse. I'm sure the product will be great but I'm extremely unhappy with the service.

Customer Service hung up on me this morning due to me wanting to cancel my order- as I had not heard following it being placed a week ago. Called back- they picked up and hung up again. Disgusting customer service- awaiting deposit so I can go elsewhere ASAP.

Your order was placed on 4th August for Force USA products that are currently available on pre-order. Each of these products is clearly marked as a pre-order on our website, along with the expected timeframe for stock to arrive. The current estimated lead times for the items on your order range from 3 to 11 weeks. As your order was placed only three days before you contacted us to cancel, an update would not ordinarily have been expected at that stage.
We are also sorry to hear that you felt your calls were ended intentionally. We would never hang up on a customer simply because they wished to cancel an order. While it is possible that there was a connection issue during the second call, we have no record or reason to believe that a member of our team deliberately disconnected your calls.
Importantly, your cancellation request has been actioned. Our case notes confirm that the order was cancelled and the request was passed to our Accounts team to cancel the associated finance application. This would not have been possible had we simply refused to assist or intentionally ended the call.
We understand that pre-ordering is not suitable for everyone, and we are sorry that the expected lead time did not meet your requirements. We have nevertheless processed your cancellation and are working to ensure the associated finance application is cancelled accordingly.

The Fitshop website seems to me to be…
The Fitshop website seems to me to be attuned primarily to people familiar with gyms. As a result, I found it difficult to work out precisely what I needed from the many choices and 'bundles' on offer. Having sought advice and an 'interpreter', the ordering process was quick and easy. Delivery was speedy and efficient and the product is of industrial quality. Now in operation, it is doing exactly what I wanted.
One the whole, the experience was very good, but a little more attention could be given to the non expert.

Excellent customer service! I recently bought an exercise bench from Fitshop, and after contacting them about their Price Promise, they honoured it without any hassle. A special thank you to Alisha, who was friendly, professional, and very helpful throughout the process. Tunturi UB 80 Weight Bench
After buying a poor excuse for a weight bench from an online supplier, which sadly, did not live up to expectations, I decided to go a bit more 'up-market' and buy a bench from a recognised sports equipment supplier. I eventually opted for Fitshop and bought the Tunturi UB80 Weight Bench. This is an excellent piece of kit, with easy-to-understand instructions and a relatively simple process to put the bench together. The only criticism I have is that assembly requires two different sized Allen Keys, which as I didn't have I had to order. A minor issue but I have now added a good set of Allen Keys to my toolbox. So, about the bench. It's really well-made, robust and great to use. The height is good, the bench padding is comfortable and for the free-weights training regime I use it fits my purpose. Fitshop has a great reputation and sells high-quality products.

Fantastic product
Fantastic product, great price and waiting time for delivery excellent. The only negative is the actual delivery, the guy knocked on door, I answered and he just left the mats in my garden, how the heck am I supposed to get them in the house/ garage myself they weigh a ton! Yeah delivery could be a lot better but product itself really good.

Terrible service…
I would love to review the product but I have never even received it. Unfortunately you can't give 0 stars. The couriers were never given my full address for delivery so although I had booked a day it didn't arrive, I was not contacted by the courier or fitshop. I had to hassle the courier and after 45mins on chat with them was told I couldn't amend the address and that the supplier had to, getting fitshop to do anything was slow at best. Fitshop had supposedly been chasing the courier but supplied me with no updates unless I hassled them again very slow at replies. I am still waiting for a refund to place my £2000 order elsewhere, it has been nearly 2 weeks since it was meant to be delivered. Service is shocking. Won't be using them in the future, there are plenty of other suppliers all at very similar prices.

Fitshop Nottingham staff were excellent. When the product I wanted was out of stock they reserved it for me, and as soon as new stock was available put it aside and contacted me. The product itself, Tarus viynal covered 16kg kettlebell was of excellent quality and will stand up to many years of use.
