Dillion was Really knowledgeable about products in store. Helpful when choosing which gym equipment to buy.

Garth was extremely helpful in recommending a make of recumbent bike which I had actually never heard of but has proved to be first class. It is called a Taurus and is German made. It was replacing a Schwinn bike which was made in China which has been a complete disappointment. I will never buy Schwinn again. It is so very comfortable to use with an internal battery which charges every time it’s used (a good reason to cycle every day!)
I bought an extended warranty because I expect to use my bike daily and with the cost of assembly by an in-house workforce, the whole cost was exactly the same as a Life fitness bike which I had originally hoped to buy from John Lewis. I had investigated other companies but either the equipment was not available online after three weeks or there were third party delivery companies who required a video of the access details before accepting an order. I felt confident that I was being very well looked after by Fitshop as I am still working in the fitness industry after 30 years plus.
Both Mark and Adrian (the delivery guys) were amazingly conscientious and helpful in entering the property, assembling the bike, taking it to the building where it was going to be used, dealing with the packaging and clearing and finally exiting the property.
All in all I am very impressed with the whole process with Fitshop. If and when I need more machinery there is only one place I will go to - and I suggest this is your first stop.

Dale worked hard to get me the best deal. His responses where always prompt and professional.

Ordered a Schwinn 800IC. It arrived faulty. I'd already spent hours assembling it and disposing of the packaging before the fault became clear.

What followed was weeks of silence and chasing. When Fitshop finally responded, they agreed to replace the bike — but said I'd have to pay a fee for collection and installation, because I hadn't bought installation with the original order. That isn't how the Consumer Rights Act works: where goods are faulty, the retailer bears the costs of putting it right.

They then offered me 5% off as compensation, and later 10%. The fee they wanted was worth more than the compensation they were offering.

Still unresolved. I'd think carefully before buying anything expensive here — the products may be fine, but find out what happens when one isn't.

Phil gave outstanding customer service when purchasing my kettlebell.

I brought a Cardiostrong IB50 Incline bike from Fitshop 10th May. It was faulty & whilst the customer service was initially pretty good, it has been appalling since I requested a refund & returned the item. I’ve been waiting 6 weeks for my refund since I first made my request & having to take them to the small claims court to recover my money. Avoid at all costs - disgusting behaviour. I am left with no item & no money.

Customer service was fantastic. This is the second time I’ve attended this store and every time staff have been helpful and welcoming.

Nathan reassured me that would be processed and only 1 of the 2 items would be dispatched and order updated for me to receive a partial refund.
I would recommend this firm.

Absolutely outstanding service from the moment we walked in.

We purchased an incline trainer and couldn’t be happier with both the machine and the customer service we received. Lorraine was fantastic she was incredibly patient, took the time to talk us through all of the equipment, and answered every question we had with exceptional knowledge and professionalism. There was never any pressure to buy; instead, she genuinely wanted to make sure we chose the right machine for our needs.

A big thank you also to Leon, the Assistant Manager, who was equally exceptional. His advice on the different machines was invaluable, and his expertise gave us complete confidence that we were making the right investment.

It’s refreshing to receive such knowledgeable, friendly, and honest customer service. The whole experience was first-class, and it’s clear the team genuinely care about their customers. We would highly recommend Fitshop to anyone looking for quality fitness equipment and expert advice.
