Employees here work like Slaves...! Toxic Workplace.
Summary: I strongly advise against working for or using the services of this company. The workplace culture is toxic and causes severe burnout, and many employees report being misled about core employment terms.
Compensation and contracts: Management often promises a fixed salary during interviews but converts pay to an hourly system after hiring. Offer letters are not provided, and salaries are frequently reduced or withheld with vague excuses. Employees are required to be present for a full eight-hour day to receive pay; finishing tasks early or working fewer than eight hours can result in pay cuts.
Policies and benefits: Attendance and payroll policies are inconsistent and unfair—timesheets are regularly disputed and used to justify withheld wages. The company does not provide basic benefits such as health insurance or OPD coverage, and some employees who took maternity leave report not receiving maternity pay.
Legal action and management response: Several current and former staff have filed disputes with the Sri Lankan Labour Department, and management has reportedly failed to cooperate with inquiries. Given these ongoing issues, I recommend avoiding this employer to help prevent perpetuating an unethical, exploitative work environment.
