Paris / Reunion Island trip

I went to the runaway bay flight centre…
I went to the runaway bay flight centre store on 14/04/2025 and booked a flight for 4/05. While booking the flight, I mentioned that I needed additional baggage for the trip. So, I asked the staff that if it includes 30kg baggage and the staff responded yes. I paid my flight ticket which also includes the insurance. I thought my ticket also includes baggage.
Today, a couple a day prior to my flight day, I called the customer service just to ensure my booking and baggage. I was being told that my fare does not include any additional baggage. I am so disappointed now and i ended of paying additional $230 for baggage.
I am not happy with the service. Worst experience ever, I will never book from this store.
