General poor service and lack of knowledge
We booked a tour to Pompeii by high speed train, we're told we had everything we needed, found out in Rome we had no tickets for train. Called the emergency number to be told why didn't we call the 1300 number, because it won't answer. Why didn't we call the store, because it's 8 hours in front....We got tickets, eventually, went to Naples, tour gone. Contacted tour operator to be told ALL information was emailed to travel agent 23rd April including tickets. Booked a cruise, ALL GRATUITIES PREPAID, not according to Celebrity X, they gave us the booking from flight centre. Drinks package included, yeah basic drinks up to $12, limited range, wifi included, yeah for 1 person. Honestly the amount of money we paid, over 30k, and terrible service. The tour to Pompeii was 1200 and we had no tickets for anything, couldn't even go to Pompeii on our own as we would've had to buy tickets again. Caused so much angst for a complete lack of service. Also was time spent on phone trying to organise tour that agent had supposedly sorted out. Original agent left company, and we weren't even advised she'd gone. We wanted premium economy flights, only to find out they weren't on the Dubai to Rome leg, AFTER we'd been given flight information. It's going to be interesting to see how this is handled when we get back, as my husband is quite annoyed.

Prior to confirming a booking, each customer is required to check their invoice, confirming their details, names and travel arrangements are all correct before any payment is taken or booking made. We can understand your frustrations, we do work to ensure all information is made clear prior to booking, so when customers book, they are making an educated decision.
