The EU has an extremely comprehensive regulation called EU261 that is designed to hold airlines financially responsible when passengers experience unpleasant or unfair travel experiences. No matter if you are a European traveler or you are just visiting the EU, all passengers departing from a European airport are covered by this regulation.International Air Passenger Rights. Over 130 countries have adopted a multilateral treaty called The Montreal Convention. While this treaty is not nearly as comprehensive as EU261 or ANAC400 laws, The Montreal Convention was designed to establish airline liability for certain scenarios pertaining to flight interruptions and baggage issues. The FlightHelp Promise

No payment

I was eligible for compensation and they have mentioned that they managed to get the refund from the airline however my payment was never arrived. They mentioned fake deadlines to wait several times without any reasoning. I have the feeling the they win cases and keep the money for eternity without paying attention the clients.

They announced me they received the money from the airline and took them so much time to ask for my bank details just to see once I have given them all required documents that they did not send the money to me. I have written them multiple messages on WhatsApp and emails and they have not responded to tell me a reason for the delay or just a mere update. I still haven't gotten my money.

Horrible Experience

I had 2 delays with the same air company in the same trip. On the one-way (flight A), I asked for FlightHelp's support because it was the first time in my life. For the return (3 days later) (flight B), I did it on my own on the air company website.

Results:
Flight B --> I received 250 euros from the air company within 2 weeks from the request
Flight A --> FlightHelp disappeared for more than 1.5 month. After several requests of update, they asked me once again the same data I provided to open the claim. Finally, they sent me 115.30 euros (46% of the 250 euros the air company gives back for 5 hours of delay).

TIP: if you want to be reimbursed correctly and timely, do not ever use FlightHelp

No follow-up

No follow-up
In September 2025, we had a delayed flight from Seville to Bucharest. At Bucharest Otopeni Airport, a FlightHelp agent collected our details to start a compensation claim.
Until the end of December 2025, there was no communication at all. After contacting them ourselves, we were told that the compensation had already been received by FlightHelp Otopeni. We then sent all requested documents immediately.
Since then, there has been no follow-up, no updates, and no compensation received.
It also makes me wonder what would have happened if we had never followed up ourselves. After this experience, we will handle future compensation claims directly with the airline, as the process is faster and payment is received without unnecessary delays.

I applied for my flight that was on 5 October like 10 days later, everyone that applied from WizzAir recieved the payment in 10 days, they asked me
for information in December and now they dont answer my mail and on Whatsapp, still havent recieved nothing.

After i wrote this review and mail to them with threat they sent me 115€ out of 250€ that everyone recieved for this flight. Thats more than 50% cut, i suggest u to never use this company.

Claim ID #AQ0215.

Claim ID #AQ0215.
I have been trying to contact FlightHelp for over 4 months with no response, only automated replies.
Another claim company informed me that the airline has already paid the compensation, but neither I nor my wife have received any payment.
No clear information, no human support, no transparency.
