First esim, great experience, will use again
I usually get ripped off by my German provider (roaming fees) whenever I travel outside the EU, so I wanted to give esims a test. I tried Flysimio (flysimio.com) for a trip to Asia last month.
I just bought a data package on their website before leaving. They emailed me a QR code right away, I scanned it, and that was pretty much it for the setup.
When I landed, it connected to 5G instantly. I kept my German SIM on just to receive normal text messages, but used the esim for all my maps and WhatsApp. It worked perfectly and was pretty cost effective. Definitely going to use this more.
