Not a trustworthy place! I don’t recommend it at all.

I recently visited Fone King at Westfield Chermside 15/10/26. I had smashed the front and rear of my iPhone 16 that was approx. 12 months old. Obviously sad and upset I met Dominic who was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Domonic stepped me through the repair process, documentation and costings for the repair. We also with John the “Mobile Phone Repair Master” who advised that the total time for the open-heart surgery to bring my phone back from the death would be approx. 1 Hr.
I returned slightly earlier to the store, and I was able to watch John as he was working on my phone in a very clean and well set out work environment through the shop window. Very Impressive!!! I now believe that John should also be known as “The Magician” as he was able to do what I thought would be impossible, repair my mobile that was toast and bring it back to life.
Dominic & John are a great team their support assistance and customer service was second to none. I hope to never have to use their skills again but if I do, I will be back as a repeat customer to Fone King Chermside. Both you guys ROCK!!!

I visited Fone King at Westfield Town Hall on 24 September 2026 at around 6:30 pm, and I had a really positive experience.

They had a “Shining Win” gift promotion, and I received a “buy one cover, get the second one free” offer. As I already had a cover and wasn’t sure what I would do with the second one, the lovely staff member kindly offered to exchange it for a free screen protector instead.

I also purchased a phone cover for my husband, but unfortunately, he didn’t like the style. When I asked if it could be exchanged for another product, the young lady who was assisting with the phone screen protector was extremely helpful and understanding. She arranged the exchange without any argument or hassle, which I really appreciated.

Thank you so much to the lovely young lady and the whole team for your excellent customer service. It was refreshing to receive such friendly, flexible and helpful service.
I would definitely recommend Fone King at Westfield Town Hall to anyone looking for phone accessories or phone services.

Battery replacement was cheap and very quick, i will definitely use them again in the future

Absolute rubbish. Two bad batteries in a row and they make it extremely difficult to get a refund. Blame the customer for their cheap, rubbish, unreliable batteries that take three hours to go from 100% to zero. Taking my complaint about them to Fair Trading. Don’t buy anything from this rubbish company.

Absolutely disgraceful service. Avoid at all costs.

This is by far the worst phone repair experience I’ve ever had.

They tried to double-charge me from the start. I ended up paying almost $300 just to replace the back of the phone. I even pointed out that a brand-new phone would cost barely twice that, but against my better judgment I went ahead with the repair.

Big mistake.

The phone came back in worse condition than before. The camera quality is now terrible, all photos are blurry, and the phone was returned dirty. It honestly worked better when the back was cracked.

I then drove one full hour back to the shop to calmly and politely discuss the issue. Instead of taking responsibility, they became defensive and unprofessional. They told me to “lower my voice” (I wasn’t shouting) and even claimed I smelled like alcohol, trying to paint me as some aggressive, out-of-control customer — which is completely false and insulting.

At that point, yes, I got angry. Anyone would. This level of service is a disgrace. To make it worse, they threatened to call security on me rather than address the problem they caused.

No accountability, no professionalism, no respect for customers. I regret ever trusting this place and would strongly advise others to stay far away.

My camera is useless now, it‘s blurry and time and money was highly wasted.

Also I got insulated, it might have been a racist move from the store manager who didn‘t let me finish a single sentence and didn‘t think I had any idea of services, how phones work or whatever.

Pure disgrace, a shame and awful experience.

Cracked screen in under 24hours of screen replacement,

Replaced a battery in my phone with an inferior damaged product, phone wouldn't charge properly and battery life was very poor after they were at it, I went to another repair shop, they showed me the damaged batter Fone king had used, I was lucky it didn't go on fire

Highly recommended for repairing my mobile and laptop. The person who assisted me put a lot of time and effort into tracing down the source of the problem. Then he and another of the friendly team did a great job in restoring both devices to working order. Really appreciate their expertise and pleasant way they worked with clients.

Terrible products. Spent $40 on a supposedly superior screen protector which bubbled within weeks of purchase. Fone King did not reply to my email or contact via their website.

Worst Quality phone screen protectors, avoid this store at all costs

The staff were unfriendly to me when I tried to return an item. The situation became worse when the staff told me to (bad word) off and became aggressive. They have lost my business. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!

Everything Fone King sell is cheap AliExpress items in FAKE packaging. They sell their phone cases for a min of $69.95 which costs $2 on Ali Express. The Super Shield branding is FAKE and a rip off. Stop supporting these guys! They are FRAUDS.

Took my phone to them stating that I was experiencing “charging Issues” with my iPhone 6. Straight away I was told that the charging port needed to be replaced without any consideration to any other possible issues e.g. faulty charging cable. Was also told their parts were genuine Apple parts that came with a 12 months guarantee. However, I was told that this would not be honoured if the damage was to occur due to a faulty cable. When getting my phone back two (2) of their own charging cables in the shop were faulty! I was billed $129 for the work with the invoice stating the “Charge Port” and “Audio Port” had been replaced and this was one single part. It was not until I got home that I discovered that the “Touch ID” was no longer working but worst of all my battery started depleting at a fast rate. I returned the following day about these issues, initially fixing the “Touch Id” but stating they did not touch the battery and it was “swollen” and would need to be replaced. Alarm bells rang big! I then went to the Apple store which informed me that they would never do this type of repair and was quite unsure exactly what work had been carried out. Apple also informed me that the “Audio Port” and “Charging Port” were two separate parts not one part as indicated by “Fone King”. Apple recommended me returning to “Fone King” and having the phone restored to its original condition. Upon returning to “Fone King” they continued to put off restoring the phone to its original condition, continuously stating that Apple will not help me. Eventually they did restore my phone to its original condition. I also had to create a scene in order eventually obtain a full-refund. Initially being told the “Tech Fee” would be deducted as per the “Terms and Conditions”. After that I returned to Apple who were very helpful and discovering that the charging issues were simply a result of lint being caught in the charging port. Once cleaned out the problem was solved. Also miraculously the battery issues were also resolved.
