Footplate Reviews

Excellent prompt delivery. Preowned items were as described, great communication and customer service. I would shop there again (they need to source and stock more preowned European products)

This was my first order to Footplate, for a locomotive which was in perfect condition other than a few missing windows, as described (one was supplied loose, which will assist with replacement). Fair price and postage cost, quick delivery and more than adequate packaging - friendly emails and good website too, I have subscribed to see if there are/will be other items I didn't know I needed...!

The coach I bought was pre-owned but in excellent condition, as advertised by Footplate. My delivery was on time and well packaged. Reasonable delivery charge too, unlike some of the big players in the business. I'd certainly use Footplate again.

The item I purchased was exactly as advertised it Wes in good condition and arrived very quickly and I consider it good value , it arrived well packaged with very little chance of being damaged and the postage costs were reasonable

Excellent customer service Prompt deliver
Well packed I recommend them

I only found this family run shop by chance. I entered the on-line shop and started to browse. I came across something I let slip from another retailer, and I wasnt going to let this slip. The ordering service and the whole experience was good. The only thing I would say, is they should delete the sold items from their listing's, as it just bungs up the items in the browsing section with items not for sale, other than that, it is a sound shop and will look for this shop again when I'm on the look for more items

Easy site to navigate and options for easier payment terms (handy when you are a pensioner).
Delivery was quick, and the loco was well protected .

5th time buying from footplate and I have found the following,

These are excellent models in near new condition for a great price with super quick delivery many thanks

Easy and pleasant experience. The item was as described. In excellent condition with all the relevant paper work with it. The communication was very good as was the packing and postage time.

Reasonably priced hard-to-find second-hand items, sensibly packed and promptly despatched. Note that goods are sent by Royal Mail, not one of the dodgy delivery agents I won’t name (!) so one can always order with confidence. Oh, and I always enjoy the daily email lists of newly arrived items - some real gems there!
