Footplate Reviews

Have bought several times from Footplate online and from the shop. The service is always excellent. Thoroughly recommended.

An easy 5 star award. Good communication and items received very quickly. These types of retailers are the unsung heroes of the modelling world and we’d miss them if they weren’t here.

Bought a second hand item from Footplate, it was as new and the delivery was very quick. AAAAA+++++

My engine arrived very quickly… even in this run up to Christmas… very well packaged and runs a treat. I’ll be back!

Ordered at the Wigan show, too large to carry on public transport and would not be home for a week, so asked for a delayed posting. Arrived as requested in great condition.

Friend is a real model railway fanatic so it’s great to be able to purchase a gift token on-line, rather than having to visit the shop.
Enables him to have the choice to buy at his leisure

Loved the very informative website, open and honest about the condition of the locomotives and rolling stock they’ve got for sale.
I bought an old locomotive which was in excellent condition, and a lovely Micro Trains hopper. Both were in their original boxes and were excellently packaged. Delivery was quick and on time.
All in all a good company I know I can trust.
