They took your money,and don't send product

I ordered week ago,not get single update and I paid it already,it's fruad website ,i am going to complaint in police,don't buy anything from this website #beminimalist, 1000 of customer got same experience,they take ur money and don't send u anything

Got a refund...but it is still some sort of scam.

Placed my order and was charged on January 9th, 2020. After more attempts to contact them than I can easily count, and receiving empty promises on the two responses I received, I had given up on ever seeing anything. Imagine my surprise when I got an email stating I would be receiving a refund on December 12th, 2021. I thought nothing would come of it, but today, December 14th, 2021, the credit showed up on my card. I am shocked that they actually refunded the money. I can't help but wonder how many people they did this to, how much money they kept for almost two years, what investments they had it in, and how much profit they made.

This company is horrible

This company is horrible. Don't buy from them. I guess it was my error thinking I was ordering from "the minimalist" rather than "FOR the minimalist". Just getting ready for next trip and have never used this bag. It looks nice, has nice buckles/hardware. Didn't ship on time, didn't arrive on time, customer service is a joke. (Essentially no customer service, just a run a round w/representatives/emails. Not able to speak with an actual person). Was told I couldn't return item after it shipped. Forgot all about it until I am getting ready for my next trip, and am realizing I can't use that bag and have to find something else. (from somewhere else).

Do NOT Recommend FTM

I wish I had visited this website before purchasing the two duffel bags that I haven't received and struggling with Customer Service that doesn't respond. I agree with the many others here cautioning NOT to order from this company.

I truly wish that I had visited here… Don't do it.

I truly wish that I had visited here after seeing their ubiquitous Facebook add about going out of business - which of course can't be true, since they hold on by holding on to YOUR money for a good long while. When I inquired about not getting the goods, you get a profuse apology about difficulties, and then you wait some more. Then, you find out that what they describe is not what you get (if you are looking for a jacket, go elsewhere, this is no more than a sweater). From the nature of other complaints, and I can tell you, I am happy that I used Paypal, and that I enrolled in their return shipping guarantee - otherwise, I'd be out the return shipping costs.
I had to show photographs that the color was wrong, and prove that the sizing for the XXL was no larger than a medium. I escalated the thing to Paypal as soon as I could.
They had my money almost two months.
Don't do it.

Save your money and buy somewhere else!

Well, I should be happy, at least I received my duffle bag. Unfortunately it came with a big grease stain on it that made it unusable. Of course, I contacted Customer Service to no avail. I won't go into the long story but they should have refunded my money but they simply stopped responding. I should have checked this company out before purchasing something from them. They certainly have a ton of one-star reviews which would have been a pretty good clue they are not legitimate!

I would give zero stars if possible

I would give zero stars if possible. I ordered a bag on January 1st 2020. After a month I still hadnt recieved it so I emailed them. Someone named Kate answered my email saying the bag was on back order. It is now November and I still haven't received my order. I have also sent them a couple more emails with no response. The bag I tried to order was a $65 messenger bag. And I still recieve emails from this company like I'm gonna order from them again. This is a total scam.

FTM owners should be in prison

Same as most of you. I ordered 2 bags in Nov. 2019 and it’s a year later and still nothing but emailed excuses and promises. The bags were supposed to be Christmas gifts for my college bound kids. I felt bad then that turned to anger toward FTM.

9 Months Later, Still No Travel Bag

From their Facebook ad I ordered a For the Minimalist duffle travel bag on January 4, 2020. I contacted the company several times. Received excuses & assurances it was coming. It still hasn't arrived 9 months later!

SCAM

SCAM! Same problem as others, I ordered and paid for a bag in Dec 2019 and still don't have it and doesn't seem to be coming either and it's now August 2020. I am going to complain to Paypal and Amex but it's likely too late. Total waste of my time.

I ordered a duffel bag in mid-January…

I ordered a duffel bag in mid-January 2020. A week later, I had a credit card charge but no order confirmation. After two emails to customer service, I protested the charge with my credit card company. Ultimately I did get a response, albeit it limited, via Facebook messenger.

The bag appeared in April. It might be worth $30, but not $64. Smaller than expected and seems to hold less. Would advise against ordering.

This company took my money for a bag…

This company took my money for a bag ordered in December 2019 and I have yet to get the bag or the refund. I have contacted customer service many times and it only added to my frustration. They are just awful. A waste of time and money. And no contact number to speak with someone personally.

Avoid this company

I wish I'd bothered to check out this company's reviews before placing an order. Believe the reviews that say this company's a scam. I ordered two bags in December 2019 and still have never received the bags or a refund (it's July 2020). I have been in touch with their "customer service" by email multiple times in the interim. They responded sporadically with generic reassurances— just enough to induce me to wait a little longer. By the time it became clear that they were stringing me along and my bags were never coming, it was too late to dispute the charge via my credit card, and of course the company has ignored my repeated requests for a refund.

By the way, I recognize that covid-19 has affected all businesses, but I placed my order in December. This was not a delay caused by covid-19.
