A quick turnaround on assessing documents once the valuation was returned. The valuation took a while to get booked in but this was not down to Foundation.

Overall the process was very easy and stress free. Simple process for the application, underwriting was quick and the valuation came back promptly.

My first time using FHL for a client limited company BTL and despite my initial reservations everything went better than expected.

From the ease of discussing my clients specific case to ensure it fits, ability to review declined DIP (due to incorrect entries on Equifax credit file) and ability to overturn, relatively smooth application process with a user friendly system, ease of submitting associated documentation and keeping the required documentation request reasonable and not asking for the kitchen sink like some lenders.

Overall the process was very easy and stress free.

Only point stopping the 5 star is the inability to physically speak to the case handler (unless they call you) and having to wait for them to pick up your note from the online system. However this did not cause to much of a probem

The staff here are very helpful. No long wait for calls to be answered and no feeling of being passed around departments - the person who answers takes ownership of each enquiry.

I have placed a number of BTL and Ltd Co BTL cases with Foundation over the past couple of years and have found them to be the best lender to deal with by some distance. One one occasion, this included 14 applications in one day for a Portfolio BTL Landlord and the whole process was completed within a few hours due to the ability to 'copy' cases across for the same client. The intermediary website is excellent and the post application service is also quick and straight-forward. Rates have also been good in recent months with free valuation options. In recent months both my BDM Cheryl and UW Rob have been excellent on service and a pleasure to deal with.

Always a very good experience with Foundation. Access to and discussion with decision makers is second to none.

Another good experience dealing with Foundation on the regulated side. Great communication from both my BDM Fiona Robertson and also the underwriter on this particular case Eleanor. Case was not straight forward but it was underwritten with a proactive point of view and such a great outcome for the client when the rest of the high street turned her down.
