Great reliability, support and performance through software

I'm really pleased overall with Fox.

The equipment has proven to be reliable and hard working and performs as it should do and is specified to depending on which product is installed from their range of inverters and batteries.

When there is a problem, the UK based support team are knowledgeable and work to resolve the problem.

Great customer service.

Got in contact with Fox this morning concerning a problem with the app. Redell was so helpful and understanding. He reassured me that it was just an update on software which he could take care of at his end. I am just getting my head around using this and he explained everything so simply. He sorted my problem within a few hours and rung back when he said he was going to which I really appreciated. Would definitely recommend as after-care is always been good.

Great team

Sam in tech support is really friendly and always happy to help. Since joining the company she has always been really knowledgeable and will do her best to figure out what might be causing any issues.
It nice to get feedback after an issue has been resolved so as an installer we can make sure we don't do the same thing again.
I can't recommend the whole tech support team enough.

I don't have many issues when it comes…

I don't have many issues when it comes to working with Fox equipment, but when I do the tech support team are very good and this time was no different! Samantha and others I spoke to were very helpful and after being stumped with equipment that wasn't working properly, they were on the case and able to sort the issue without me even returning to site 👍🏻👍🏻 many thanks! 🙏🏻

Tech support (steve) was fantastic

Tech support (steve) was fantastic,
Always has every answer to the questions being thrown at him, and nothing is never an issue.
Always polite and honest, the knowledge he has is amazing.

He is a massive asset to fox themselfs.

Shocking customer service from FOX ESS

I've only had my FOX ESS inverter & 10KW battery for approx 6 months now and I'm continually losing the WiFi connection so I have no idea what the state of charge there is in the battery. Now the first few times this happened it connected to my home WiFi quite easily, but more than 3 weeks ago it lost the connection and when I carry out a scan to get the serial number, when I go to connect to the WiFi it just buffers continually and I can't do anything. When I first contacted tech support, now there's a misnomer, they asked me to try connecting to the WiFi. When I told them that I couldn't and the reason why I couldn't, they sent me a video of how to connect to the WiFi. When I responded, I asked if they had actually read my email, they would know exactly why I couldn't connect to my WiFi. Then the old nonsense comes out about following procedures and I responded with what's the point of following procedures if you know it's going to fail? Now even though my system is still under warranty, the tech is threatening to drop the case because of my unreasonable attitude. Now after having a fault for 23 days you would think they would send someone out to check it over. Not a chance, I just get requests for serial numbers etc.

WiFi connection problems can sometimes be difficult to diagnose because they rely on communication with third-party devices. In cases where the connection drops intermittently, this can indicate that the router may be periodically removing the datalogger from its DHCP table.

That said, I can see that we didn’t clearly explain our troubleshooting process, and we also asked for information that you had already provided. Please accept our sincere apologies for the way this case was handled by our agent. We’ll make sure communication is clearer going forward and will work closely with you to get this fully resolved.

So easy!

We only had our solar battery and inverter installed yesterday, so it's a bit early to comment on the difference it will make to our energy bills. However, we also had a new router installed a couple of hours later, so needed help on how to connect the app to the new router. It was so easy! Compared with reconnecting another app (which shall remain nameless) it was child's play. Samantha got back to me on WhatsApp, explained how to find the part of the app I needed, I followed the very clear instructions, and bingo! Back online! Happy days.

Talked to Samantha from fox technical…

Talked to Samantha from fox technical what amazing woman she took time to help with a problem with my solar system and she went that extra mile .
Unfortunately there was one person who was adamant not to give me any assistance because I wasn’t the installer which was a total shame .
Fox needs more people like Samatha she is a credit to her company it was a privileged to have been able to talk to her well done .
It’s only a pity that other people I spoke to had the same compassion as Samantha .

Do not be afraid to ask for help

I had great difficulty with the on line forms. Samantha and Alex could not have been more courteous or helpful with an over 80 old guy, who likes to think he is up with technology. Sadly not so , but those two went the extra mile.

We have been installing FOX ESS…

We have been installing FOX ESS products now since January 2024 and have not looked back since, they are extremely installer friendly and very reliable, our customers love the FOX cloud app and find it very intuitive. If we ever need any support from FOX they are always very easy to get hold of and externally helpful in their approach at resolving any issues we may have on site.
