A very good PDF alternative that is let down by a prehistoric renew and support process.

The functions are easy to find in the menus and easy to use. The various functions for cropping, rotating, adding and deleting pages, and the text functions are useful and convenient.
However, many documents print as gibberish, whereas the same documents print well with another pdf reader, so I don't use the foxit for printing anymore.

Honestly, after googling a signature service I stumbled upon Foxit Esign and it is super rare to say how great and easy Esign is. Didn't know Foxit did signatures since i've been using their free Reader for almost a decade now. I reached out to support for a simple question and their automated system gave me an answer in 2 seconds that worked. They mention phone support is available 24/7 so at least thats peace in mind if I need a human to assist!

It does what it is supposed to do.

It does not shake you down for money the way Adobe Acrobat does.

It does not come bundled with the godawful McAfee anti virus package the way Adobe often is.

In other words, Foxit is an honest program that does not contaminate your computer with junk and does not nickel and dime you for more payments.

It's very expensive for my use (times two - one for me one for spouse, since there's no family plan). $25 a month! If you have heavy use needs, it's probably easier to swallow. But no other software offers the basic needs I have any cheaper. So it's a matter dealing with it. Good product. Solid, few issues, which is unusual and great!

Great for snapping pictures and quick use.
Applying jpg could be simpler and drawing edits in the PDF is bulky. Smoother process would be nice. I don't mind the subscription price at all. An upgrade might be in order.

Switched to Foxit over a year ago and hands down it is a better application and offers more for less then Adobe. Thank you!

I like the product. It generally works well. However, I've had a terrible support experience. I opened a ticket, was assigned a person, they reached out to me once but since then I've had to reach out to check on status every single time. Nothing at all has been done on the ticket for around two months. It's terrible!! I hate working with a company who has terrible support. I will look to figure out a different product to use over the next year and will tell others that your support is terrible.

Works well but way too expensive for the amount I need it

Foxit works great when you learn how to open edit features.

I have enjoyed the benefits of FoxIT Pro for a few years now and get the same robust features as Acrobat at a lower price. It's also great to not have all the background fluff the Adobe uses and drains from my system, even when not using their product.

I have had foxit for years as my PDF reader. I'm finding the cost of the suite is prohibitive for the amount of use. I plan on cancelling the yearly subscription in 2027, amount of usage not worth the $$.

Although the product is solid, the licensing is overly restrictive and difficult to manage. Unlike other subscription products, this product requires a license for each and every device. Even though I only use one device at time, I have to pay for 3 licenses to use on all devices. Ridiculous. And, the licensing portal is absolute trash and very difficult to manage for multiple users, especially for adding multiple licenses on a single user. Probably, my least favorite Saas to manage.

Clumsy product. Gives update notification and will not update (app closed or open). Menu commands at times not traditional resulting in learning in the middle of using the app. Ok to replace more expensive Adobe and better than many noxious pdf apps. In the end, would love to have Adobe, but not the Adobe price. This will do until then.

Foxit Tool is fully featured and has most of the attributes we require.

I had used up my 3 activation keys since purchasing the PhantomPDF software. I had used the program to put a user license on my e-book, to prevent copying and printing.

I needed a new activation key because I had been running it on Windows 7, and wanted to transfer it to my newer Windows 11, So, after calling a Foxit rep to inquire if it would work on Windows 11, she said yes, and sent me a new activation key, and she deactivated the program on Win 7. But after I installed it on Win 11, I found that the program didn't work on Win 11. I now had no working program. So, I called back, and the other rep told me it wouldn't work on Win 11, and I was basically up a creek without a paddle, and had to purchase a yearly or perpetual license ($209) if I didn't want the yearly license. Had I known this I would have kept using it on Windows 7. For a program that has very expensive licensing options, this resulted in a very negative review of Foxit. I will never use any of their programs again.

Exploring other options, I discovered I could do almost everything I needed to do in Foxit, by instead using the free LibreOffice office suite with the same security properties (no copying or printing). That was done by opening LibreOffice, selecting LibreOffice Draw, opening my PDF in LibreOffice Draw, then selecting from the menu, File > Export As> Export as PDF. This brings up a dialog box called PDF Options. From there you can add a password to secure either the whole document or to secure certain properties by preventing copying or printing.

I am finding so many companies like Adobe and Foxit and NCH and others who are trying to milk every dollar than can from consumers. Thankfully, there are many other options using open source software, or some companies that still offer perpetual licenses for a reasonable fee.

Make sure to read the fine print. I signed up expecting a monthly subscription, but it turned out to be an annual license disguised as a regular monthly plan. Customer service couldn’t have cared less. Extremely deceptive business practice. I will never do business with them again or with any company associated with them.

I had a very disappointing experience with this company, especially dealing with Engineer Adnan. From the beginning, there was a lack of professionalism and clear communication. Commitments were made but not fulfilled, timelines were not respected, and overall coordination was very poor.

The quality of work did not meet expectations, and there were multiple issues that required follow-up, wasting both time and money. Instead of taking responsibility, the company showed a careless attitude toward resolving problems.

I would strongly advise others not to waste their time or money with this company. There are many better and more reliable service providers available in the market.

Very unprofessional service and poor management. Not recommended at all.

Terrible Service, theives!

They keep charging me for a service that I've stopped using 5 months ago! They claim that I've signed up for yearly contract but paying monthly (how phishy!!)

I had to lock my credit card entirely just to not let them capture more money as I do with any scammers.

DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICES, THEY ARE BUNCH OF THEIVES WHO LOOK FOR JUST STEALING MONEY.
