We ordered the wrong radiator
We ordered a beautiful cast iron radiator to replace our leaking one. It took a few weeks because they had to manufacture it to our specifications but it looked great. Amelia was helpful with the order and making sure that we ordered the necessary accessories. When we were about to install it, we found out that our building has a steam heating system, not water as we had been told and our new radiator would not work here. Hudson Reed graciously allowed us to return the one we ordered for a full refund minus shipping. We are grateful to Hudson Reed for allowing the return of such a large, heavy item and to Nawel especially for all the kind assistance she offered us throughout the process. Thank you again Nawel for your patience and understanding!

So far so good……
The shower components we ordered arrived in good time and well packed.
The bathroom refurbishment is on-going and the shower will not be fully operational until the end of April 2026. However, the plumbing and mechanical installation is now complete and the shower mixer and ceiling spray have been tested before tiling. We felt that the assembly instructions of the thermostatic valve and its control lever was not clear (several red alignment marks on the valve shaft) and initially it was impossible to operate the shower in the cold position. However a hand held thermometer was used to identify the 38 degree position and the handle was then locked to that position. This enabled the thermostatic valve to function correctly albeit with a delay was noted before the blended temperature stabilised. A flow of 19lt/min was measured at 4 bsr supply pressure from the supplied shower head.

We appreciate you highlighting the issue with the thermostatic valve assembly instructions and we will pass this feedback on to the manufacturer so they can review. Please note that after installation, we recommend calibrating the thermostatic cartridge. This process ensures that the temperature markings on the handle correspond correctly to the actual water temperature, typically by setting and locking the handle at the 38°C safety position, as you have done using a thermometer.
The mixer is also equipped with a temperature safety stop piece, which helps prevent the water temperature from exceeding the safe 38°C position unless the safety stop is intentionally overridden.

I recently had a very disappointing…
I recently had a very disappointing experience with the delivery of a radiator from Hudson Reed. Initially, it was not delivered on time and was sent to a logistics center 15 kilometers away from my location. When I arrived to pick it up, I was shocked to find that the box was huge—measuring 1 meter by 80 cm and weighing 36 kg. They simply rolled it outside, and I was left to struggle with carrying it to my car and then trying to fit it inside. This whole situation was just a disaster. I expected much better service from Hudson Reed.
