Super happy with Freemake - Outstanding!

The Freemake software is super easy to use. In my opinion, it's the best out there. The support staff responded quickly when I had an issue and resolved it immediately. I couldn't be happier. I recommend their software to all my family and friends.

Awesome product

Awesome product! Been using Freemake for 10+ years... Never had any issues until recently... For some reason, it just wouldn't load the article... Freemake worked constantly on trying to resolve my issue. They finally sent me a EXE FILE to install so that I could sent them my "log files". Unfortunately, (just stupid bad luck), when I attempted to send them my files, my hard drive crashed on my laptop and it wouldn't boot up. They told me that after I get back up and running, to reach back out to them and they would be glad to help me!

NO VALUE in their promises to Loyal Freemake patrons

I have been a loyal Freemake patron since March of 2017...Up til now, I've been very satisfied purchasing added upgrade packages including LIFETIME GOLD. I feel as though that counts for nothing. I upgraded my laptop and in the process of transferring Freemake Software was notified the license keys were outdated and I needed to upgrade the software. In return, I would receive the latest software that had been updated to permit downloads of youtube videos and others not previously available. The encouragement was sweetened by "reduced price considering that I was a loyal customer."
Literally, seconds after agreeing to the purchase... a second window advised me of a 90% discount "considering that I was a loyal customer." Clearly, this is a marketing error... & should NOT have popped up unless I had refused the first offer. If you were willing to offer me the same software at 90% discount... Why not offer that in the first place...since afterall, I AM THE SAME LOYAL CUSTOMER. I tried contacting Support for assistance and received a 'boiler plate' response citing refund rules I agreed to when I made the last purchase... ie. We reserve the right to decline refund requests in the following cases:
When a user demands a refund immediately after buying Freemake...
BTW, HOW DO YOU DEFINE LIFETIME.

Frustrating of late but good overall app

Dislikes...Paid for mega pack,one off payment, then my pc broke down and had to buy another-yet freemake said altho i paid for pack for life on one pc,be aware you have to buy another pc 5 mins later you need re pay for the pack!!
program on both old pc and new one suddenly crahses or freezes occasionaly (often) when editing,losing all edits upto that point not saved.
on old pc my web cam files worked without problem-on new upgraded pc when installed freemake,those same files no longer recognised by freemake to edit unless i use freemake to save iin mp4 (which is what my camera files are already) and only then does it allow me to edit the newly saved mp4 files....
seems slower on my 5x's faster (win11) pc with more memory than did on old pc (win10)
pro's...
easy to use,easy to understand without a manual, does most of what i need it for (edit,save,reverse vertical/horizontal film,seperate and join clips etc)
fairly prompt reply to support questions if dont mind the usual frustration of dealing with zendesk 1st
